SHARING MY STUDY PERMIT APPLICATION APROVAL.


This is my Second Application (Undergraduate Student with five years study gaps)


Timeline
Submission: January 20, 2020
Medical request: February 12, 2020
Request for updated bank statement: February 13, 2020
Request for first year tuition fees: February 13, 2020
Request for updated LOA: February 13, 2020.
Medical passed: February 28, 2020

I raised a webform to the Canadian embassy in Nairobi requesting for an extension for me to be able to meet up with their requirements due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, international transactions was a bit difficult during that period.

Submitted updated acceptance letter via mycic account: March 12, 2020 (there was provision for upload on my portal). It took the school (University of Regina) one month to process a new LOA because I have utilized all my deferral chances.

Paid first year tuition and uploaded proof of payment via webform: May 18, 2020.

After fulfilling all the IRCC requirements it moved to a complete silence that lasted for 3 months. Although, I kept sending follow up emails and webforms to inquire if they recieved the documents I sent to them and whether they require additional documents from me. In all of the enquires (webforms) I sent to them, they only acknowledged one while the rest were generic responses about the impact of COVID-19 in Visa processing. This made me restless because I don't know their next course of action.

Lo and Behold, AIP: August 18, 2020
Requested a GCMS note for me to know the status of my application: August 25, 2020.
Received my GCMS noted stating all the verifications were passed, and I found out that my application has been approved : September 17, 2020.
BVL: October 29, 2020
PPR: October 30, 2020

During the long wait, I always remind myself of his words in - Mark 11:24. “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” I belived firmly and trusted that God was strongly involved in my case.

I would like to use this great opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to an exceptional, hard working, God-fearing and selfless brother (frankrobben) who helped me with getting my visa approval. Frank helped me with the whole process, starting with the robust evaluation of my previous visa refusal, securing admission at University of Regina, laying out all the next steps and helping me throughout each and every part of the process. He addressed all the concerns of the visa officer, shared his expert advice and answered my questions in a timely and respectful manner. I couldn’t imagine doing this without him. I am grateful to God Almighty for his perfection in my application. Secondly, my appreciation goes to Frank for going out of his way to see that this application was a success.

1. LOE (three (3) pages written by Frank addressing the concerns of the visa officer with respect to the last refusal grounds)
2. Family Members Birth certificates.
3. Unconditional Official Letter of Admission from the University of Regina.
4. First year tuition payment (18,000CAD) as requested by the Canadian embassy.
5. My Passport Photograph.
6. My Birth Certificate,
7. My West African Examinations Council Senior School Certificate,
8. International Passport Bio data page,
9. Professional Certifications (Desktop publishing and other certifications)
10. My University diploma certificate to cover my two years study gaps after high school.
11. Reference letters from several organizations I belong to in Nigeria (recommended and drafted by Frank with the sole purpose of overcoming the Visa officer's concerns on the basis of my home ties which was among the visa refusal in my first application).
12. Affidavit of Return (drafted by Frank and duly stamped by a notary public).


My Employment Documents
1. Letter of Introduction from my father's company stating that I am a volunteer (non-paid) employee in the company. Frank suggested I present the application this way so they won't request for salary bank statement or funds from my own part. My LOE was tailored specifically that the primary purpose of my visit to Canada is to acquire an advanced knowledge in economics which will be channelled to the growth of my father's business/company.

My advice to everyone is that while we are waiting for the Lord’s answer, let us not despair, let us trust in the times when GOD is silent to us because HE is doing something good for us. Let us pray constantly and above all give thanks and praise to GOD, just because HE will not leave us in the midst of trials.

… GODs time is always the best!.

I think the quick response was as a fact that you are a second applicant and no review of eligibility is required and all info remain the same?

The only new thing he did in the application, is that he only wrote a persuasive and concise three (3) pages LOE. In the content of the letter, he justified each and every reasons that was raised by the VO with adequate proof as well as added reference letters from two different organisations stating that I head the group and will return back to them. Frank also suggested that I keep the application simple since my father was my sponsor.

Again, did you receive an email concerning the medical request? And do you have travel experience.

Yes I recieved a donotreply email from IRCC indicating that there is a message in mycic account. I haven't travelled out from the shores of Nigeria, he also explained my reason for lack of travel history as it was also among the reasons that were raised in my previous application.

Thanks... Frank only addressed the reasons for my refusal with a three (3) pages well-worded LOE. He included 2 persuasive volunteer reference letters for me from different organisations which stated that I'm an active member of the group and will return home to continue my role as a leader and participation in meetings. I guess this letters did a great job in my application. Lastly, I'm for the spring 2020.

Guess what? It's a MEDICAL REQUEST . My special thanks to frankrobbn1 for making this a reality. He is the brain behind my application beginning from the admission process down to the Visa application. He singlehandedly packaged my second application after been denied of my visa. He wrote a convincing LOE that addressed the reasons for my previous refusal, and assured me that everything will surely fall in place this time. He also included volunteer reference letters that also strengthened my home ties, since the VO was not satisfied I will leave Canada after studies. My brother I forever remain indebted to you. Believe me, you're a guru in this Canada immigration and my life changer. Keep doing that which you know how to do best bro and my God reward your good intentions towards humanity.

Only heaven knows how happy I am at the moment.
