Master Mugu. I was supporting Obi and not Tinubu, my tribeman. I didn't have pvc. If I did, I would most likely have voted for Obi. My wife voted for him because we were supporting him even though blindly. It was when I realised that the guy is not even a match for Sanwo Olu not to talk of Tinubu I stopped supporting him.

Mind you, the bolded is all you do. If not, Nnamdi Kanu would not have been arrested all the way in Kenya and brought back to Nigeria while you Igbos looked on. Apart from that, Olumide Akpata is the least qualified amongst the three front runners.

Monday Okpebholo is a grassroot man loved by the Esan people for his philanthropic work. He is also a sitting Senator.

Asue Ighodalo though not very popular amongst his kinsmen but has always been helping to drive the economic prosperity of the state since the days of Oshiomhole and now Obaseki as head of the Economic team. Former Chairman of Sterling Bank, Former Chairman of Nigeria Brewery, Member of Nigeria Economic Summit group, Chairman of Nigeria Sovereign Wealth Fund. He also has the backing of Governor Obaseki and Edo Central PDP caucus.

Olumide Akpata on the other hand has only the former president of NBA on his CV. Until now nobody even know his name is Osaigbovo
but because of politics, he has resurrected the name.

Edo people voted massively for Peter Obi because of his pedigree and not because of Labour Party. That is one fact that a lot of people outside the state have failed to realize.

My conclusion is that LP has no chance at all in the forth coming Election.

Just a quick one these are some of the flaws from Reno's argument in no particular order:

1. That the number of SEners that voted for Obi in the SE is more than the number of SWners that voted for Tinubu in Lagos does not prove anything.

Infact given the performance of APC in the previous 8 years it could be that because of what the SEners perceived as failure from the APC they decided to vote Obi. Whereas it could also be that the Yorubas that voted APC irrespective of their bad record during Buhari tenure did so because Tinubu is from SW.

Reno claimed to have a PhD he should know that you can only speculate with such data and no serious reviewer will pay attention to such nonsense.

Unless there is a study conducted amongst these voters to really ascertain the factors responsible for their voting pattern every other thing is just speculation.

2. Building two universities does not mean that the education system has improved. I would rather Reno use data from both education enrolment and improvement during these period. That would pass for a better gauge of the effect of their policies if their aims why to improve education. If it why to improve access then building universities might suffice depending which level of education we are talking about.

Why would you build additional university if your policy is to improve the quality of the existing schools? You will need to build a university or more schools if access is part of the problem. The question Reno would have tackled was what were the respective priority of these different states at that point and if the governors met the expectations.

3. Using the bare figure of Lagos state increasing its revenue could also be misleading on it own. One could argue that during his period under consideration per capital how did each state fair?

I find people like Reno either being clownish or deliberately manipulating the interpretation of data to suits their agenda.

If Reno has ever published anything worth reading in academic journal he should know that the nonsense he posted as response will never be accepted and will be rejected outrightly.

I like the fact that you speak and write well. What I don't approve of in your write up is the fact that you downplayed all tangible facts.

You people accuse of Yorubas of only voting Tinubu but the figures actually shows that it's the Igbos that actually only voted Obi. Now, you are saying the figures that shows the truth don't prove anything. How can you see the truth and still insist it proves nothing. Try to add the truth to your education/ministry Sir. And the idea is that you people like the truth when it favours you but downplay it when it doesn't.

Moreso Sir, Tinubu's performance as a governor is not a match for Obi's. I think you need to sample the opinion of even Anambra and Lagos people during those periods.

This post was made on Nairaland in 2012 when Peter Obi already spent 6 years as a governor. But in Lagos, people were praising Tinubu. In fact I got to my family house area and I was surprised by how everywhere has changed.

You still do not get the gist. What Reno is saying is that you Igbos should stop labeling Yorubas as bigots. In this last election, you claim that the Yorubas only voted Tinubu but the figures show that it is Ibos that are actually guilty of what Ibos are are accusing Yorubas of. Moreso, a lot of politicians that are not of Yoruba origin won election in Lagos. Obi won all 5 SE states but Tinubu only won 4 out of 6 of SW states.

See, the pure truth is if Tinubu had relied on only SW votes, he would have lost the election. Why?

The hypocrisy in this country stinks though, Igboho was released but Nnamdi is still kept in prison despite court order to release him.

An Igbo chief in Lagos threatened to bring IPOB to Lagos because of how bad his people were treated during election period and he was hijacked and manhandled like an 18 yrs old boy before being dumped in prison.

But a northern Islamic cleric has called for the head of the president wife for being the head of infidels yet nothing is being done about it and the Imam walking freely today.

On the other, Nnamdi Kanu was arrested all the way in Kenya? All of you Igbos sat down and looked on and he was returned to Nigeria from Kenya as demanded by Buhari. What this means is that Igbos might not be as smart as they claim to be. They are just irresponsible noise makers who can't even act when needed.

3. Igboho only demanded Fulani stopped killing his people. Neither Igboho nor his boys ever killed amybody. Nnamdi Kanu through IPOB has instigated the killings of many fellow igbos, soldiers, police officers and including top igbo who would helped to move the igbo nation forward. Kanu has on numerous cases, also threatended war on Nigeria . That's serious crime. Igboho only stopped the killing of Yorubas by Fulanis. I'm therefore surprised you can compare both people, JUST LIKE THAT!
