This map does not tell the true picture. It is a winners take all
map which does not apply in Nigeria because we do not use
electoral votes by state like the United States. People in all states
voted and both men got 25% in Many states other than reflected in
the map so this map is misleading based on out constitution
which recognizes only 2 victory criteria: 1 . Is 25% votes gained in
any states up to 2/3 states and 2. Majority of votes cast
nationally. congratulations Nigerians . we ll see in 4 years by the
will of the almighty.

Let people be civil to one another. People in the U.S will say one
nation indivisible under God. Let our people back home do the
same thing to move country forward. We are all the same family. I
believe this what make America great because of the two strong
political parties that is practiced here. Democrat and Republican
always put each other their toes especially the one in power. This
is opportunity for APC to prove themselves , and PDP to
reenergize. This will promote good governance . This will promote
parties to allow people that visions for the country to run instead
of thugs that don’t understand finance and economy. This will
discourage corruption and many other evil in the land
loveontopover
Let us now see if someone who loves Nigeria and has the desire to
serve has been elected to rule. Let us see if the change we are all
Calling for will come. Let us pray for a new Nigeria where
corruption will reduce, Where the people will respect the law again.
I know that this is no military rule but ‘when the head kows where
it is going, the tail will never miss its way’. Let see if Buhari,
would ‘Bugharia’ (turn things around) for Nigeira. That is the
hope. If he does not, the in 4 years, we throw him way like
Jonathan. Jonathan came with the mentality of the minority, to
grab, Thats what he did. I hope that the security agencies would
not let Deziani Madueke and Okonji Iwuala to escape!

Congratulations to Nigerians home and abroad!! Welcome to new
Nigeria, the Giant of Africa!

The real winners of this elections are the Nigerian People, GMB,
GEJ (for conceding defeat), The Nigerian Press, The world Powers
(they know if there is trouble there will loads of wahala on their
neck), INEC (and Jega for keeping calm) and Democracy in Africa.
We can look at the map again and ask what went wrong in some
areas so we can correct them. The real losers are those who pass
hate message, Orubebe, Fayose, Fani Kayode, Dokubo, Tompolo
and all those who think Nigeria should divide.
Yomi
The sum of the result in the table above for APC should be
14,951,578 votes. The analysis by state is right but total is wrong.
I’ve compared it with my analysis compiled based on INEC
declaration on TV. Both the analysis and total for PDP agrees with
mine. Note that only the total requires adjustment. Yomi from
USA.
PoliticsOsogbo Residents Monitor Poll Results On Billboards by Adimine(op): 4:25pm On Mar 31, 2015
Three days after the presidential election was held, residents of
Osogbo, Osun State, have taken to the streets to watch the results as
they are being displayed on giant electronic billboards in certain
areas of the city.
As of Monday night, when the results were being declared in bits by
the Independent National Electoral Commission, some residents were
seen in the Okefia area of the city, hanging in groups, as they watched
and analysed with keen interest, the results so far announced.
An ‘okada’ rider, Olawale Odunayo, said he was excited about the
initiative as it enabled him to have real-time access to the election
results.
“My work entails moving around town, so I don’t have time to stay
glued to a radio or television and I don’t also have a smartphone, but
I’ve been watching everything on the billboards in certain areas where
I carry passengers to,” he said.
Also, a woman, who was frying yam when our correspondent visited
the area, said she was happy she could see the results live without
being at home.
Identified simply as Mama Bola, she said, “You can see everything
clearly. We are adding the results up as they come in. This is good
for us. We count ourselves lucky in this age.”
Meanwhile, the city of Osogbo still remains quiet on Tuesday despite
non-restriction of movement as many residents have shunned their
business over fears of post-election violence and to watch the results
of the presidential poll.
A businessman in the state, Mr. Joseph Chidiebere, told our
correspondent that he had vowed not to go out until the full results
were announced.
“I have been indoors since yesterday because I am also monitoring
the results and adding up the numbers. Also, anything can happen
after everything has been announced. I have shut my shops until I see
what happens after today,” he said.
Likewise, a cab driver, Olusegun Alabi, complained that he had not
been enjoying much patronage since Sunday “because everybody is
indoors, monitoring the results.”
