How Dammykrane and Chukwuebuka Arrested for Fraud World’s first Hail-A-Jet service, Tapjets, have revealed how they succeeded in arresting Nigerian singer, Dammykrane and accomplice, Chukwuebuka, on the 2nd of June, 2017, in Miami, Florida. . . Below is the exclusive chat between us and Konstantin, Head of Flight Safety and Security, Tapjets. . . Q: What is the implication of Dammykrane’s crime? A: Not sure on implication. It’s a legal question. . . Q: Has he been released on bail? A: Our understanding is that, that is not the case yet. His accomplice was already out on bail and he is not eligible. . . Q: How was the crime detected and for how long has he been defrauding your company? A: A small token of authenticity. He uses Samsung Galaxy 7. And messages did not come from that phone. However, that same phone was used to place the online order with credit card that does not belong to him. . . Same phone was used to register multiple accounts trying to buy with different cards until one finally worked. However, names did not match to zip codes etc. d. We are 100% confident that our app was on that phone and order was placed via T-Mobile network from cell tower located in Miami area. . . We have coordinates of cell tower and proof that they took a car from that area to Opalacka airport. That’s where arrest took place. We are not proud about it. We want others to think twice before stealing from companies. . . Technology is very sophisticated and being an airline, we have access to the latest. I hope you can help spreading the message that we are not on a whitch hunt. We simply want people to hear the victim side of 3 edges. . . Meanwhile, a defense attorney, Deborah Prager, has now been appointed to represent DammyKrane who is now facing a 9-count-charge of fraud and grand theft.

For good or bad, LAUTECH students will always remember 2016 For good or bad, LAUTECH students will always remember 2016 “When we were little, we were told that education is the key to success, now we have the key, only to find out that the government has changed the padlock” I write to express my frustration over the ongoing strike. The industrial action which is capable of making a living-dead of us students of the highly revered institution if appropriate measure is not taken to contain it. The frustration has become so high that I can’t even think of a way to pacify myself, as every now and then suicidal tendency wells up in me. For close to six months we have been out of school there’s persistent sense of frustration and pointlessness that daily jar our sensibilities. I wake up daily to the nightmarish quagmire of hopelessness as a result of lack of thought of those at the helms of affair in Osun and Oyo states, whose children are far tucked away in the comfort zone of ivy league education in Western capitals. Our disquiet is their own soothing balm, they relish our compromised education as they gaze lovingly at the opulent education of their own children abroad. The sadness that creeps in is fueled and given flesh by the tortured thought of a blissful future that beckons teasingly at other undergraduates from other universities in the country. As some undergraduates, especially medical students are preparing for their houseman ship, the lot of medical students at Lautech is forebodingly pathetic as they cannot tell when it will be their own time for houseman ship. There’s no gainsaying the fact that disruption in academic programs is a strong disservice to students. It discourages them from learning. It is not surprising therefore that during this strike, most students are involved in anti-social, counter-cultural activities such as sexual immorality, cyber scam, pool- betting, unnecessary gossips, watching of films, and reading comic materials for entertainment purposes rather than reading their books. In the long run, they soon forget about academics and are nolonger prepared for the school resumption. Evidently, about sixty five percent of Ladokites don’t want the school to resume any time soon. Why? Because they are more engrossed in business and making money. From the above review therefore, am of the view that disruption in academic programs by the hoax semester-break, coupled with ASUU strike for about four-months now breeds disappointment, frustration, emotional and psychological trauma. Furthermore, it causes unpreparedness on the part of the students and lack of motivation, which are not conducive environment for effective learning. The school massive structures have been overtaken by weeds, and chances are that reptiles and other dangerous animals may have found a haven in the school, there are reports that some fresh students are already planning to procure another JAMB forms to secure fresh admission to some other schools. Ever since the founding of the school, there has not been a time like this when it was involved in protracted closure. Should we rather put the blame on ASUU chairman, VC, or the two visitors? But as for me, they all share the blame. Why? Because they’ve been playing politics with our future. But the real enemies are the following names; CHANCELLOR (BOLA AHMED) CHAIRMAN GOVERNING COUNCIL (PROFESSOR OMOLE) AJIMOBI AREGBESOLA AND VICE CHANCELLOR For reasons best known to them, the aforementioned are not really concerned about our future for allowing the strike to hit December. We cannot blame them after all their children/wards are not in Lautech. The fundamental problem has been that government officials and civil servants are being allowed to take their children/ wards to private institutions which run pretty well, while destroying the system most of them had passed through over decades. The truth is that both the ASUU and management have committed an unforgivable sin. A sin that none of the students would ever forgive except the needful is done now to confront the ongoing strike. Sincerely, we are tired and getting fed up every day. In addition, i hope the two great sinners too, Ajimobi and Aregbesola will live up to expectation and stop being political about our future. To this end, I pray the unofficial proposal of school fees from 65,000 to any crazy amount won’t cause another havoc, or put the career of the students in jeopardy. I’m writing this with a heavy tears on my face! I also empathize with the medical students who suffer in silence! Only God knows when they will graduate. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! WE HAVE SUFFERED ENOUGH! Oyedeji Ahmed, fondly called LAUTECH-mouthpiece (LMP), is a student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, LAUTECH. He is one of the leaders of the ConcernedLAUTECHstudents, a students’ right advocacy group. He can be reached via 08064372225. |
