Career / Re: If You Fall Sick And Get Fired On Resumption by adis(m): 8:33am On Jun 28, 2007
Let's be sincere, it depends the following:

1. the conditions terms of service.------ If the service terms is corporate or legal, the employee can't just be sacked anyhow. Some procedure must be followed. The employee must be well informed.

2. the proof(s) presented or made available by the employee. ----- At least doctor's report must be presented to the company stating the occasional situation of the employee's health. If that is not done, the employee should expect being fired.

3. the duration of the sickness. ------ Depending on company, there must be a specific period given for the sick. If it's in a construction manufacturing company, one's sick period is a great loss to the company. The best is to lay off.

Our prayer should be "GOD GIVE US PERFECT AND SOUND HEALTH"

To the victims this, may God provide a better and rewarding job for them.

In Nigeria, you'll enjoy every scene (the cultural display, good and standardized museum and tourist centres, loving and caring people of Nigeria etc). Nigeria, African most populous nation, has:
the largest political party, PDP,

the largest city in West Africa,

two African most beautiful campuses (Obafemi Awolowo University and Covenant University),

the most populous city in Africa, Lagos,

the African biggest business resort and tourist centre, TINAPIA.

You'll have all you love here in Nigeria.

My answer comes in two ways.

If you're to stay in Nigeria, as an American, you'll never regret that for a second. Because, at least Nigeria is the most enjoyable place to be in Africa. Business move so well and you'll be well paid, if you're employed with any of the Nigerian companies.

Social Amenities, Securities, and most fundamental needs are somehow concentrated in some places (major cities) in the country. So, to enjoy stay in Nigeria, make choices of places or cities like Abuja, Lagos Jos, Kano/Kaduna (both somehow hot) or Ibadan. At least you'll enjoy Nigeria by living in any of those places.

I, proudly as a Nigerian, am wishing nice and successful stay in my loving country.

I love my country I'll never lie, I'll live in it and die. Nigeria will never fail you.

YOU ARE WELCOMEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Sincerely, whatever job you do in life, what matter most is fulfillment. If you know that you are not satisfying your desire or derailing from your dream, while working with the bank, you can leave.

But, I'll like you to first search for and secure another before resigning. A BIRD AT HAND,

A ll the best
