Nairaland / General / Housewife Seeks Divorce In Court On Account Of Deceit by Adland(m): 12:51pm On Mar 29, 2019
Lagos – An Agege Customary Court in Lagos State on Wednesday dissolved a six-year-old marriage of a businesswoman, Kemi Olomu, over lack of love, laziness and gossiping by her husband.

The President of the court, Mrs Patricia Adeyanju, held that the marriage of Kemi, 39, and Bamidele, an electrician, was irretrievable. She told the parties to go their separate ways in the interest of peace. “The court grants the plea of the petitioner and, therefore, dissolves the union between her and her husband, Bamidele. “They shall cease to be husband and wife; both parties are ordered to go their separate ways without any threat to life or blackmail,’’ Adeyanju held. Kemi filed for divorce on Nov. 6, 2018, saying that Bamidele was uncaring, irresponsible and a gossip. She said that she was fed up with the marriage.

Politics / Nigerians Voted With Their Feet, Why? by Adland(m): 12:11pm On Mar 22, 2019
It is hackneyed that voters will turn out in massive numbers to vote in an election if the following factors suffice: the voting process is simple and understandable; the voting area (polling unit/voting point) is accessible; they trust their votes will count and will not be stolen; they can vote in a safe and secure environment; there is a trusted candidate/party on the ballot and they are passionate to vote to office, among others.

As noted earlier, the commitment of Nigerians to the democratic process is never in doubt. This commitment was evidenced in the enormous challenges voters had to endure in order to take part in the voting. One of the iconic photos that emerged from the elections was that of an informed old woman being carried on the back of a young man to be helped to cast her ballot at a polling booth in Lagos. Sadly, such determination and commitment to the process is not rewarded with the much talked about “dividend of democracy” and better life.

Politics / Nigeria Elections 2019 - Who Will Become Nelson Madela Of Nigeria? by Adland(m): 3:19pm On Feb 22, 2019
According to Benjamin Disreali, “The legacy of heroes is the memory of great example”.  Many mindful and meaningful people of the world watched in sympathy,  agony and admiration how Nelson Madela struggled for the liberation of South Africa dominated by white minority in the process he was jailed for 27 years for committing Treason and Felony just because he was trying to set his people free from the slavery rule of Apartheid regime of the white minority at the detriment of the blacks who are the majority but after serious sanction against South Africa led by the Nigeria Federal Military Government, Nelson Madela was released from prison and he eventually became the President of the Federal Republic of South Africa.  Nelson Madela from prison to President despite he was jailed for his role in setting South Africa free before becoming the President.

After the first tenure, Nelson Madela bowed out homourable without going for the second term which is very unusual of African leaders.  History was made and monopoly of some African leaders was broke and Nelson Madela became the hero of all time.

The postponed Presidential and National Assembly Election holds tomorrow Saturday February 23, 2019 across the six Geopolitical Zones in Nigeria and the Thriller in the Upper Region is between the two Fulanis President Muhammadu Buhari representing the ruling party All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Alhaji Atiku Abubakar representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).  It is on record that the incumbent sitting president would always maneuver their winning trick by all means to perpetuate themselves in office.

It is interesting to note that judging by the scenario that unfolds before the General Elections proper in the sense of president’s refusal to sign the Electoral Law into Law as amended by the National Assembly and the sudden postponement of the Presidential and National Assembly Election originally scheduled for Saturday February 16, 2019.

Many food of thought is of the opinion that the action by INEC was the voice of Esau and the body of Jacob.  The re-scheduled Election holds tomorrow Saturday February 23, 2019.  The question is if PMB looses the Presidential Election ticket to Atiku if insinuation in the political circle Nigeria as if anything to by Atiku is favored ahead of PMB.  Will PMB accepts defeat and become the Nelson Madela of Nigeria? The question would be answered  in the aftermath of the Elections in Nigeria.  The whole world is watching for PMB to write his name in the annals history of Nigeria. God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Buhari should know that everything in life both position and where he is today comes from God. Nigerian Presidency belongs to Nigerians. So by saying that nobody can unseat him with his practice of nepotism, lack of regard for the rule of law and unhealthy situation affecting him couple with lack of Education he should believe that his time is up in Aso Rock Villa. One cannot say categorically of who richer between musicians and footballers. In the sense that there are first class musicians and there are top footballers in top clubs across Europe. In the nutshell its actually depends on the level a musician has attained and the club which a footballer is playing for. Any of them can be richer but musicians have an advantage.

Religion / OSHIOMHOLE Is Wrong: Only God Can Forgive Sins – Servant Victor by Adland(m): 11:21am On Jan 21, 2019
According to Labour Law which Comrade Aliyu Adams Oshiomhole was the President and it is on record that he came to prominence through the Labour Movement and rose to become the Governor of Edo State and now the Chairman of a ruling party the All Progressives Congress APC. “Keeping Quiet is Criminality against Humanity” under this I am making this observation as a Nigerian who loves Nigeria. For Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to make such comment either by commission or omission fell below his kind of a person who one believes he has seen it all and he is at the peak of his career as a public figure. In a reaction from the man of God Servant Victor of the CCT Deliverance Ministries 5, Idowu Close, Powerline, Sango Ota Ogun State in his religion point of view disagreed with Oshiomhale that “Once You Join the APC. Your Sins are forgiven. This statement if actually he said it fell below the character that Comrade Aliyu Adams Oshiomhole is made of and this is a National disgrace to all Nigerians and black race as it is only God that forgives. This is not a matter of APC but Nigeria as a Nation. Religion / Prosperity Is By Working Hard – Servant Victor by Adland(m): 11:13am On Jan 21, 2019
The usual weekly thunderous praise and worship to God by the worshipers of CCT Deliverance Ministries, 5, Idowu Close, Powerline, Sango, Ota. Ogun State took place on Saturday January 19, 2019 with Servant Victor Ministering. In his usual dipping deep into the words of God through the extensive reading of the words of the Bible from the 3 John Chapters 1 Verse 2, Genesis 39 Chapter 3. Servant Victor after the reading of these Bible passages he explained the meaning of the word “flourishes” as a sign of prosperity in someone’s career, education, business. He enumerated further on prosperity like a cube of sugar that if a cube of sugar falls down, it will scatter and ants would rush there. He encouraged members that in other to be prosperous the following steps must be taking: (1) Keep the words God’s covenant (2) Be fervent in prayers (3) Plan Well (4) Put your plans to work (5) Be practical oriented and no proclamation. Proclamation is dangerous as practicality brings results and to also check the background of the family. Be hard working like God as hard work don’t kill (6) Be sure that what you are doing is good (7) Prepare for the unknown (cool Seek first the Kingdom of God ( Mathew 6.33) (9) Jeremiah 33,3 God show you what to do (10) Philippians 4: 19 (11) Pray for wisdom (James 1:5) (13) Engage in Soul winning (14) Be a giver Luke 6:39 - Chris Blackwell Ikumapayi
