The issue is not concluded yet, but Level 10 is what they are offering to Teachers especially the 13,000 teachers.

there is a classroom allowance attach to your salary....I knew of this from a former colleague who was transferred to the ministry of education ....he says his a salary has reduced...it depend sha on the ministry and parastal ....finance, Rivers revenue services, judiciary etc may earn more due to extras finance flow

It is the new government that will pay this month salary as the cabinet has been dissolved so it is the new administration with new constituted cabinet that will carry out the payment of salary.

Stop spreading news that isn't correct. Everything concerning payment approval and voucher preparation of salary for the month of May 2023 was approved before the dissolution of the State executive council today. Even the state dissolve political appointees will receive their payment for May too.

Is it that they have been paid their contributory pension from the pension companies they registered with but the government is not fulfilling its own part?

Majority of them were not part of the contributory Pension Scheme. What they complained about is their gratuity that the State Government stopped paying them since March 2012 which they are entitle to. Those that are part of the the Contributory Pension Scheme can approach their pension managers upon retirement or at the age of 50 for payment without stress.

At 50 Yes, upon retirement yes from your fund. Ok

As for the pension, i make my contribution now while in service, then upon retirement, i will be paid partly in percentage of my total contribution.

Yes, you receive 70% upon retirement or 50% when you attain the age of 50 years then you receive the balance in the next 24 month( base on your Pension managers). The monthly Pension that you receive upon retirement comes from the State Government until death.

Monthly pension allowance is paid to you every month upon retirement just as the way you receive your salary now. The new Pension law is the one that empowered FCMB pension for instance to deduct certain amount from your salary every month base on your level and save same for you upon retirement. Then gratuity is a certain amount like 12 million if you retire as a Director that you received upon retirement. Gratuity is now replace with the contributory Pension Scheme that is deducted from your salary monthly.

Gratuity ends since 2018, what is in place for gratuity is contributory Pension scheme which stipulate according to the law that part of the savings suppose to come from your employer (RVSG) and the employee (you) on a monthly basis. Upon retirement or at the age of 50 years you receive the whole savings. Note that the normal monthly Pension after retirement is still in place.
