Jobs/Vacancies3 Reasons Employers Don't Call You Back After Job Application by AdonisIbira01(op): 5:55pm On Sep 24, 2024
I recently met with a candidate who expressed frustration about not receiving interview calls despite numerous job applications. After discussing her career goals, I shared three key reasons why she might not be getting called for interviews:

1. Are you a good fit for the job?
Be honest with yourself when applying. Compare your CV with the job advert and ensure you meet at least 70% of the requirements.

2. Do you have relevant industry experience?
Employers often seek candidates with sector-specific experience. For instance, an accountant applying to an NGO might need prior NGO experience.

3. Timing of your application
Note that employers typically shortlist candidates within 24-48 hours of job posting. Delaying your application can harm your chances.

To increase your chances of getting called for an interview:

- Carefully review job adverts and tailor your applications.
- Highlight relevant experience and skills.
- Apply promptly after job postings.

By considering these factors, you'll improve your chances of securing an interview.

Jobs/VacanciesThree Things You Need To Know About A Cv. by AdonisIbira01(op): 1:03pm On Sep 23, 2024
When it comes to job searching, one of the most important documents is your CV. This is the document employers use to determine if you're fit for the position.
The employer doesn't know you; they have never met you before, nor have they thought of you. But your CV gives them an insight into who you are.
Therefore, the work of a CV is to sell you. So, the Three things to know are as follows:

1. Tailor your CV to suit the job you're applying for.
From the job description, you can get an idea of what the employer wants, then tailor your CV to meet the requirements.

2. Have achievements in your CV.
When you have candidates with similar work experience, what differentiates them is their achievements. Ensure they are quantifiable in figures or percentages.

3. Professional summary (summary of who you are).
The mistake people make is that they usually come up with something generic, like; "I am hardworking, motivated, and the rest." Make it professional by highlighting and summarizing your skill set. For example, this is a personal summary of one applying for a role in human resource management:
"I have 12 years of experience, I am experienced in recruitment, training, performance management, labor laws, and public relations." If you want to stand out, you can highlight some of the skills mentioned in the job description.
In my next post, I will be discussing a part from my book" Titled the psychology of winning an interview
CareerHow Anyone Can Get The Job By The Help Of A Professional CV by AdonisIbira01(op): 7:47am On Sep 23, 2024
WHAT IS A PROFESSIONAL CV?
Well, that's a good question that requires a good answer from a professional with a proven record.
Two days ago, I received a chat from a young man working with an NGO in Cameroon. He said, 'Sir, someone recommended you to me from Nigeria, saying you can work on my CV, and I will get the exact results I need.
The truth is, when it comes to job success, sending more applications doesn't increase your chances of getting hired. But sending out better applications does. So, when applying for jobs, you must have a professional CV.
Let's start with understanding what a CV is. A CV is a marketing document in which you market yourself. You need to sell your skills, abilities, qualifications, and experience to employers.
Your professional CV must meet the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and pass the 6-second test.
Research shows it takes 6 seconds for the hiring manager to determine whether they will go through your CV.
Can your CV pass the 6-second test?
BusinessTop 3 Reasons Why You Are Not Making Enough Sales Online. by AdonisIbira01(op):
1." Focusing on the features of your offer instead of the benefits of the offer"

People basically buy things because of the benefits they will derive from it.

People buy benefits, not features.

If I am thirsty on a sunny day, I will buy water not because I like the bottle
but because it has to quench my thirst.

What will attract people to buy is the benefits first before the features..
Am I saying you should totally ignore the features of the offer, No.

You have to put them too BUT, don't focus on them.
A feature is *what it is*

A benefit is *what it does*

Benefits like, saves time, saves money, makes you more healthy, reduces stress, etc
2. "Focusing on yourself instead of the customer."

Don't get carried away with the use of I, I, I, I

I am this, I do this, I used to do this... No.

There is a place for establishing seller's credibility but you just have to do it once and get out of the way.

Everybody is looking for a way to get more money or solve their problems, not dish out anyhow...

So, never make your marketing about you but about the person buying.

Let it be about the customer.. Use the magic word *you* as much as you
can.

This is what you stand to gain, this is what you will benefit, this how you can save more cash......Let it be about the person.
3. "Not building enough credibility and trust"

Do you know that people really want to buy from those/brands they trust
and respect?

Sir, coke is number one because they have built a brand that is consistent and people trust them.

Coke in Kurudu tastes the same as coke in Trans Amadi.
One of the hardest things to part ways with is money, especially online.

That is why you have to build credibility especially if they have never heardabout you before.

So, you must answer the question, "why should people buy from me?

What experience do you have in that field? How credible are you? Do you
know your onions or are you just looking for money?

Business10 Strategies For Building Trust And Getting More Sales. by AdonisIbira01(op): 11:08pm On Jun 21, 2022
1. Show credibility
It means, show them that you are an authority.
That you know what you are talking about

Show them that you truly know your what you're doing in this field you are marketing of them about
2. Know your audience inside out

If you want readers and clients to trust you, then you need to genuinely understand where they are coming from and connect with that.

Identify their pain points and alleviate their problems and concerns with your expertise

You have to be like a detective. know your customer inside out

3. Offer free stuffs
I cannot emphasize this enough..

Give them free eBooks, videos, and other freebies you can afford.

People want to know you care before they trust you with their resources.

People just love it when you give them something free, even the rich love free things...
4. Don't forget to offer money back guarantees.

Offering a money-back guarantee helps in two ways.

Clearly, it removes the financial risk from the equation and suggests that the customer has nothing to lose even if the product doesn't meet their expectations.

_If this product doesn't clear your pimples in 7 days, I will refund you all you got for the product and send in a written apology too._
5. Become a friend

Write like you speak..

write in the first person..

Writing in the first person invites the reader to get to know you..

Use the word "we" often
6. Avoid using big words and jargons.

Some people try to impress others with sophisticated vocabulary or technical jargon.

Readers should understand everything you’re saying without having to run to Google.

If they need another resource to understand what you’re saying, you’re not doing your job.
7. Use data and statistics

If you can back up your claims with studies and numbers, you instantly become more credible.

You can collect the data yourself or you can cite studies and surveys from other.

Both will show that you've done your homework and you know what you’re talking about.
8. Promote Press Placement

If your product has been mentioned in a major publication relevant to your industry, link it to your copy.

This establishes some social proof that your company is noteworthy and trusted by well-established authorities.

As featured in AIT, NTA, Linda Ikeji blog, etc...

9. Cite experts

If you’re just starting out or expanding in a new direction, citing experts is the next best thing to establishing your own expertise and can help you get there.

Find those making it in your field and cite them. You can call them mentors and make it seem like they speak to you directly.
*10. Deliver On Your Promise*

Once a potential customer or lead starts engaging with you, you need to make sure that you are consistently exceeding their expectations.

If you want to build a relationship with someone, especially over the internet, you need to be consistent and somewhat predictable

[quote author=AdonisIbira01 post=113660076]You see, the reason why most people are broke is because they don't make money daily

There is no cash flow.

Here is what most people do, they borrow to live and when they are paid their salary, they pay off their debts and start the cycle afresh

*If you don't find a way to make money daily, poverty will find a way to meet you daily*

Every day of 2022 till date, i set a goal to hit 1k daily

I set a goal to save and hit 100+ thousand naira in six months I did it.

30 thousand a month, I've done it.

7 thousand in a week, I've also done it.

My daily income goal is now more thank N1000

I have lived the most of 2022 on challenges

That is how I have grown from N1,000 daily challenge to N4000 daily challenge..

Any life lived without goals and challenges will be a boring life

It will be a complacent and dull life

Every rich man I know is always hitting and increasing their goals

Just tell me why someone will have $ 1 billion dollars and not be content

It is not greed. Thats what makes life sweet

Life is best lived with challenges

I realized that if everyone decides to save N1000 everyday for 365 days, that's over a million naira

N1000= 1 day
X Naire=365 days
N1000 x 365 days = 365000

That's more than 1 hundred thousand

Is it hard to make N1000 daily? I don't even see that as money anymore

Considering the avenues I teach and practice, N1000 is nothing daily

If you have an e-book of N1,500, you only need to make 2 sales daily to cover your weekly goals

If I create just two upwork account daily at N6,000, I have covered my weekly goal, not even daily goal

If persons pay for my training which I do for just N3000, I have covered my weekly goal

These are BASIC examples and there is no upper limit. That means I can get 100 persons or 1,000 persons in one day

In fact, some Mondays which is the peak day for my digital training registrations, I will hit the monthly goal and chill

That means, it allowed to hit your weekly or monthly goals in one day

It will be a mastermind group where iron will sharpen iron

You will see what I am doing and what other people are doing daily and you will be inspired to keep working

As humans, our environment is stronger than our will power

If you stay close to people who smoke for a week, even if you are a born again, you will soon start considering smoking

That environment will overpower your will power

Same thing, if you hang around people with like vision and bigger goals, you will naturally stretch your mind

The reason why 1 million looks big in your eyes is because you've not discussed 100 million with your friends

When you stretch your mind, your possibilities stretch and your income also stretches

*How do you join the N1000 challenge*

Who is eligible?

1. You must have a hungry spirit.

2. You must be open to correction and reproof

3. You must be willing to work

4. You must have a smartphone (a laptop is an advantage but not really necessary)

5. You must pledge to listen to me as your coach and take action on what I say

Your target will be N10,000, you are to save N1000 and do to the others as I will conmand you to

This is the exact same template I've used to double my finance in 2022

To be a part of this challenge send a "seed" of N1000

I call it seed because it is the amount you will be making daily

And all seeds are meant to produce after or more than their kind..

So this is what I will do with the challengers..

1. I will help you build a personal brand because without a strong brand, you can't ask people to pay you daily

The reason why I am paid daily is because my name can be related to value, excellence and integrity

I don't joke with those three virtues

*Value, excellence and integrity*

2. You will learn how to sell from me

If you don't know how to sell, forget it

Most people thinks selling is a bad thing..

Or they have a mindset of giving all things for free that selling will make them look bad

Selling is not bad and I will help you overcome that selling challenge

3. Access to my books and the people I listen to especially my YouTube mentors

Many of you know Dan Lok.. There are others I don't share.

4. I will take you through 5 digital businesses

That will form the basis of your income

Everyone will have digital products

You will organise trainings and do paid ones

You will learn how to create and approve upwork accounts and how to get clients(in approving Upwork account only, you can be making N3000 daily )

You will also learn good content marketing. Not all this begging everywhere

With all this, N1000 will look like a child's play to you

What I am doing is exposing the secrets I've used to hit 1k daily

The fight is against poverty

The world is abundant. You can't eat my money. Money is everywhere

Those who will pay today will get my entire library for free, something I sell for $5.

They will also videos on how I made more money a week.

AdvertsReasons Why Every Nigerian Should Be On Upwork by AdonisIbira01(op): 7:33am On Jun 10, 2022
unemployment level in Nigeria is for the youths to go into the digital economy.

It is estimated that over $1.5 trillion dollars was exchanged on upwork last year.

Earning in foreign currencies is one of the best decision I ever took in Nigeria. I stated Upwork in 2020. I am leveraging on the stability of US dollars.

Here are some reasons you should be on Upwork.

1. It's a perfect work from home platform.

I've seen people who bought cars from their Upwork earnings working from the comfort of their homes, in their boxers, on the comfort of their beds.

I don't need to work for anyone. My earnings will cripple what some government workers make.

Plus, it gives me time to serve God. I can go for any service I want at any time I want to knowing that I can come back to work early in the morning

2. You deal with Americans or foreigners who at least know the value of your skill.

When I deal with foreign clients, I charge between 5 to $10 for 500 words (that's like 3600 for 500 words) but in Naija, some clients can price you for N500 for 1000 words. hehe

The best part of it is, you earn in dollars and this has a higher return when you convert it to naira.

3. Jobs are constant and consistent on Upwork

Every ten seconds a job is uploaded on upwork.

Lots and lots of jobs are available for the freelancer to bid for.

You are only hindered by how good you are or not in sending proposals and getting jobs.

THE ONLY DISADVANTAGE OF UPWORK IS: Opening an account can be very tasking. Infact, 9 out of 10 accounts from Nigerians are rejected if you don't know how to answer their registration questions.
I have been able to help more persons create and set up great upwork profiles that produce up to $500 monthly.

Normally, I charge N5,000 for approval and set up but for the month of june, i will do it for just N3,000

I will also send you materials on getting started and writing proposals that get you jobs.

Just in case you don't trust me, you can make payment after the approval and set up.

If you are ready to change your financial situation, make the investment today and get your account running
