This is definately not an intelligent move, not in the present day Nigeria. Pataki why do u bother to reply that slowpoke? I like your post anyway, thumbs up! |
How i wish there's an option to say that you like someone's post, i would have clicked that 1million times for Pataki, 9ijaMan and Cyborg2011 posts. GEJ is a desperate and clueless man. He's got nothing to offer, he just want to be president at least for the next 4 years. i know he's promised the northern old fools that he'll handover to a northerner after 4 years. What does he have to offer? What major step has he taken to rivive the economy? What strong statment has he made to indicate his resolve to fight corruption. Who has he challenged on corrupt ground. He will be worse than Yaradua administration, Qed |
@ode_remo I agree with you that some real life management/leadership experiences would be valuable to being the president. But T Baks and Buhari are experienced human managers. And they've been in the public glare for years. And as you rightly pointed out, my brother having management experience is not an antidote for failure!!!!!!! God will help us. |
Now I know why this country Nigeria has not made meaningful progress over the years. I think there's alot of defect in the way we think and how we draw conclusions. 1. Tunde Bakare is not from kwara state both parents of his are from Abeokuta in Ogun State. He was born a muslim now a xtian pastor 2. The fact that he was advocating for good governance and change doesnt stop him from going into politics. It is democracy (people here dont seem to understand what that means). Obama was a community worker; an advocate for the masses. Tunde Bakare doesnt need to have a public office experience to know and do the right things as the head of government. The only thing you learn from public office experience in Nigeria is how to perpetuate corruption, award bogus contracts and launder funds. 3. Buhari/T Baks will be contesting against GEJ/Sambo hypothetically!, What are the odds against them in this contest? What pedegree do GEJ/Sambo have over them. You people should comment with intellects, am tired of listening to Nigerians analysis, we get unnecessarily emotional. |

@ifyalways; spade; JAZES; georgee; Uyi Iredia; babsaga. You guys brought back great memories! Thanks a mil. Come to think of it, am one of those that doesnt believe in Nollywood at all, but reading your lists of great nollywood movies I started realising that nollywood used to be great. I actaully collect great classical hollywood movies, the likes that gets you thinking. I just ordered some 16 DVDs on amazon some of them movies made in the 60s. Is there any place where one can still get all these great Nollywood movies too? I would really like to add the likes of Nollywood movies that you guys mentioned to my collection. Any idea where one can get these movies even if each is going for like 20USD. Will appreciate your response. Thanks |
Former President, Obasanjo, Humiliated By Fayose At Oyinlola's Thanksgiving Event In Okuku Posted: December 5, 2010 - 22:37 By SaharaReporters, New York Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, the self-styled "father of modern Nigeria," received a rude shock today in Okuku, Osun State, when former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, confronted him and called him "father of bastards". It is the second time since leaving office under controversial circumstances in 2007 that the former head of state would be publicly ridiculed. Last month, an irate Nigerian rained blows on him after he managed to sneak into his car in traffic shortly after Obasanjo arrived from a foreign trip. Fayose met Obasanjo in the inner recesses of the Okuku mansion of the deposed governor of the state, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, after a "thanksgiving service" in his honor by friends and family. The former president was sitting with former military dictator, Ibrahim Babanginda, the Governor of Oyo state, Alao Akala, and Gbenga Daniel of Ogun State, when Fayose breezed into the reception area. Trouble began, according to eyewitness accounts, when Fayose proceeded to greet everyone but Obasanjo. Sensing he had been deliberately ignored, Obasanjo called Fayose by name and asked if it had been an error on his part, but an enraged Fayose surprisingly turned to Obasanjo and said he could not greet someone who is very bad! Obasanjo flew in rage and called Fayose a "bastard", this further infuriated Fayose, who moved menacingly towards Obasanjo, waved his finger in his face and called him the "father of bastards". Fayose was apparently only just warming up. "You created all these troubles in the Southwest,” he told Obasanjo, “and for your information, I did not come here as a member of your party, I am no longer a PDP member," Fayose shouted. Inching towards Obasanjo, Fayose pointedly told the former president that he didn't deserve his greeting and warned Obasanjo never to talk to him again. Obasanjo reportedly flew into a rage and called Fayose a "bastard." That remark further infuriated Fayose, who moved menacingly towards Obasanjo, waved his finger in his face and called him the "father of bastards". When the situation became chaotic, Fayose stormed out of the reception area and was heard cursing Obasanjo as he walked away in anger. The celebrant, Oyinlola, ran after him and wept, complaining that Fayose had come to disrupt his joyous occasion. |

It's sad you truly love her. I think you should let her know how you feel about her, what you've noticed, which she cant deny, and then tell her to choose between you and the guy. Life is all about choices without duress or Coercesion. If she denies the guy, you can ask her to let you call the guy and confirm if there's nothing between them. Ultimately, i think you should be ready to move on, she was probably using you as a stop gap measure. |
Hello All, I'll appreciate experienced members of this forum to kindly compare and comment on the cost, durability, sophistication and ease of maintenance of BMW 3 and 5 series against Benz C class and E class (E320) . |
Everestto:I think you should have stopped at your advice that i should start a new thread, for your own good, because I can't see anything of value in your list of observable differences. of what value is the dual zone A/c when the car is not compartmentalised?, the 2003 model also have airbag safety for all occupants of the car and the all-red rear lights is obviously not a plus as the red and white rear light in 2003 has been adjudged as being more beautiful by honda herself and subsequent model after the 2005 come with the red and white lights. As you can see, the 03 and 05 models look exactly the same, safe for the colors of the rear light. What determines how old a car is is the usage. A 117,000miles car is definitely too old to be compared to a 73,000miles car. Your 2005 car was also used as a fleet car which implies that it was not well maintained. Anyway, my car has been sold, so no sweat. |
