Una no go tire abi, after una don hype iheanacho here finish Na till all players play at the same time then una go rest.
I never liked Iheanacho as a number 9. Rohr is just assembling players and giving preference for people who have been around for a long time irrespective of their current form. A good coach will bring in quality ones by the principle of elimination by substitution and know how to tweak his team to get a balance. All the 23 players are average. It takes a sound coach to bring out the best from such a team. The new players I mentioned have some qualities that could be very useful, irrespective of their clubsides. They are young and play regularly with good teams.

Time for Rohr to go and the team disbanded. Imagine Iheanacho,a bench warmer for ordinary Leicester playing full time and consistently under performing, when we have very good ballers like Olayinka, Moffi and Mukairu. Our marking since 2016 has been poor and since the exit of Moses, Mikel and Ighalo, we haven't got any player with similar experience, skill and composure. Musa's days are over. Too many defenders and wingers. Few options in central attack and the midfield. My high school team, CKC ,played far better football than these over pampered and relaxed team

Watching on Hesgoal. Osimhen is a beast. Could have scored more if Politano was not selfish. This Napoli team is full of ball players from defence to attack. Congratulations Victor James Osimhen for your first Serie A goal. More to come

Rohr as usual with his conservative approach. Not a single creative midfielder in the team who can hold the ball and open spaces. Too much gaps and no flow between midfielders, wingers and strikers. Everyone waiting for the ball instead of going to receive the ball

Though we are not arguing,i don't do it,we are sharing knowledge that can help each other, please don't compare Akpeyi with due respect to Daniel Emmanuel,Akpeyi is a super eagles player and he is a foreign based professional couple with his experience.I think the second goal can be saved by a better goal keeper, the goal that passes through his legs,he did not arrange his defense,on several ocassions the Japanese run through our rear with ease,we have to do with players available at the tournament,we don't have to introduce new players to balance and correct the defensive errors, think of if mikel is drafted todefensive midfield,Sadiq is good but he rarely aid the defense, modern day football requires alot of team work and sacrifice of all the players, most of those guys were played out of position,i think this team can gell if the coaches work out their strategy,Mikel should please stop showing off on the field,we were lucky twice not to concede because of this, all in all with discipline and hardwork the team can go far,all the teams have one defeciency or the other.God bless the team.
Well,am not arguing.Akpeyi is more experienced but wasn't fit for the game. That doesnt mean that Akpeyi would not have made similar mistakes.Even Great Peter Cech makes worse. Also,i dont mean we should introduce new players in the defence or midfield, but our midfielders should be more defensive minded because the defence has proven to be the weak link since the formation of this team.We are just rubbing minds concerning the progress of this team. But i believe that with Siasia, the boys will improve and go far. There are no specifically outstanding team in this tournament.Tactical input from the bench will make the difference

I think there are many more matches to play,Nigeria first problem is our size against the Japanese, the referee was busy going against all the physical contacts we had with Japan, the jetlag is another issue.I think the team can do better in subsequent matches n this tournament. The coach is good and the boys gave their all,i want to see the coming in of some other players. We can't show our best 11 yet for strategies to be mapped out against them, our other opponents must have concluded now that we have a porous defense not knowing that Akpeyiis better than Daniel Emmanuel from all ramification. There are other players on the bench that can help the team as well.Your observation is excellent but i think the nigeria team will get it tight at the rear if they wish.Mikel is the most fortunate footballer i have ever known,i think he is over rated.

Daniel is very good. Most of the goals were defensive errors and we got no better bench.Saturday keigo erimuya is the only defender left on the bench that didnt play against japan.I still fear for them because i have followed this team closely from inception. To hide their weakness,we need 2 solid defensive midfieders who can quickly turn to attack.Akpeyi would still have been exposed by our defence. Our midfielders are all attack minded and mikel, though mainly defensive in play over the years,is not quick enough. We hope and pray that they improve, especially considering their poor preparations vis -a vis logistics

Nice following nairaland.just joined. In my humble opinion,we did not parade our best defenders. The team's achilles heels has always been the inexperienced defence made up of academicals, amuzie, sincere, ndifreke, all an average of 18 years old.Siasia always sticks to his boys. You wont wonder why they lost scandalously to average teams in suwon and even to th flying eagles academicals. If mikel and sadiq can come,i wonder why NFF didnt play their cards well concerning bringing in musa, omeruo, ndidi or even ganiyu ogungbe, oluwasemilogo ajayi?. Meanwhile, mikel just came to add the olympics to his CV.That littleman, popoola is better though highly underrated by many teams due to his size.Though our midfield is packed with great players,i believe an addition of obinna nwobodo or ifeanyi Mathew would have been valuable. These guys and young, skillful and experienced

Nice following nairaland.just joined. My humble opinion about the Dream team.Siasia is a good coach but always depends on his boys. The team's defence has always been bad due to inexperience. Sincere,Amuzie ,Ndifreke, are academy stars and not mature enough for this level of competition. You wont wonder why they lost to the flying eagles twice, with other scandalous loses in Suwon. The benchman,Erimuya, though very good, but lacks experience. I know him in benin.A former youth star with BJ foundation. What happened to the likes of Ganiyu Ogungbe,Oluwasemilogo Ajayi, etc?. And NFF didnt play their cards well concerning the availability of Ndidi,Omeruo and musa Mohammed. These are guys with top class experience. If mikel can come, why not the above?.And by my humble opinion, that little man, saliu popoola,is better than mikel, just highly underrated by many teams because of his size.Very visionary and composed.I had fun watching him in the last 5 minutes of the game as the crowd cheered every touch of his
