Have been having these inner push, these energy pulling me towards phase two of my plan, which actually was the reason I opted for uber ehail driving business.

The plan was the earnings from uber and bolt will fund the gig or business I want to build, it will act as my cash cow, And think it's time to dig another well like Isaac With all these increase of % by uber and bolt.

I have mastered the hustle, I can now pay my partner back to back to back without shaking or having fear of defaulting..its time to multiply the earning from uber.

PS.. ****Uber cash flows for me
******The car will be used for these other business especially for sale and marketing running around.

Simple logic ...uber is likely seeing how the market will react.. Drivers will move to bolt and uber revert back to after 20 trips 3% commission ..But it is up to the drivers to work together as a team ....If 60% drivers move to bolt now now , uber will think twice and might say 3% after 15 trips.....Either way something has to give

Ps.. You said it will be hard to pay remittance.. .most drivers only do either bolt or uber.. Some of my drivers speficially do bolt ... if bolt wants to gain market share now .. This is the time for bolt to reduce their commission since uber is acting up.. The earlier the better for bolt to take advantage
just thinking

You know when these whole e hailing company started there USP was you drive per time and make money by the side while doing it...if we all are driving just per time there will not be a problem because I know irrespective of the number of trips I do, I will still make something out of it. But with the Nigeria model these USP doesn't stand or holds water. People build a full blown business around these e hail sector and with the app providers trying to bite more or take more chunk, something will definitely go down

Am just trying to think of the 1st degree, second degree and third degree effect of these 30 trips on the whole ecosystem.

Cause:
Uber increase the 3% reduce fee to 30trips

Effect:
1st degree: drivers becomes reluctant to drive on the platform, they stop focusing on uber apps alone, many drivers start using bolt and pray for a third app(with huge financial muscle)

2nd degree: demand (rider request) exceed supply(available drivers on platform), surge begins to build up, more money for uber as a result of surge, rider are forced to pay more, there waiting time for a ride sky rockets,

3rd degree: the riders get frustrated and probably starts using bolt
The drivers gets frustrated and major on bolt
It becomes difficult to pay remmitance, even if they do there take home drastically reduces
Driver now have to put more time to try and increase the the slice they take from the chunk of the market
Margin for both partners gets affected
Car owners due to stories will pull out there cars from the platform leading to less number of cars
Etc

PS.. One thing is certain the market will react but I don't know in what direction

Is it just me observing these trend or something, when you set out very early you hardly get long trips (except for riders going to the airport) just short trips of workers going to work. I stay in badore you only get trips going to VI, lekki phase 1 etc, then subsequent trip will be people going to office.. 1000 naira trips with lots of traffic.

But those that stay back, or those that leave or book a ride from 10 am upwards most times are going to far distance, theyvarw not employee going to work but going for meetings, business etc, hence the high chance of long and stress free trips..

These is what i have observed from my end

Well, the car was purchased 4 months ago (Tokunbo) for uber business but the driver was defaulting in payment so the owner wants to give it out to another driver and this time a driver that knows his/her way around uber (not a new driver on the platform). The car is in very good condition as well.

The reason for closing by 6pm is because I set as early as 4.30am daily. But that doesn't mean I don't have much waiting time during the day.
Where do you leave bro? It means you don't mind driving in the traffic going home, because by 6pm workers are going home and there is traffic virtually every route..nice strategy thou. With these 4:30 am starting time, how long does it take you to hit 20 trips?

as someone said earlier on ,I think luck also plays a part ... Yesterday I grossed 13k as at 5pm and I left home 7am , some days 5k for the whole day .

Strategy also plays a role ... 80%of the trips took me to vi ,blew empty back to lere which was 20min (no traffic) less than 5mins in lere I always get a hit .
I know someone that targets 20k daily and has a 90% success rate weekly(thats is he hits it at least 5 of the 7days a week). Now no Saka! I repeat NO SAKA!! Moat times he comes home 2am, 3am. Rest very well and hit the road the next day

They don't rub anything "special". The first step is to take out any body hair- shave, wax or use hair removal creams. After that, using any body lotion with even groundnut oil, will give that shine. Though some can use baby oils or scented body oil.

The fairer she is, the more attractive it would be to (most) men. Some (might) mix a lil bit of foundation with oil. Just for some balance cheesy

In all, leave laps and lift up your eyes to the hills; from whence cometh your help.
Hmmmm! Poco so they apply foundation on the laps, interesting

Kindly state year , price and condition of cars (Tokunbo or Naija). Thanks
And also upload pictures of car exterior, interior too. Because all these ads they post here when you call, what you will get or see is often times nothing to write home about. I once sent a number if a car owner partner who posted that he has a car and needs a driver, the guy called and the man started listing things

1...its a manual car
2..the exterior is not to neat but he can use it for a while before they go for painting
3..the shocks and other components that makes up the legs are bad.. Bla bla bla...

Would be nice if pictures are uploaded

The car owner ideology is :big fish swallow little ones. They try to enslave fellow mainland person into picking a used car and paying high weekly for rental. Imagine a man telling someone I referred to him to pay 32k weekly on the platform. And the worse part is that he also is a driver.

Now On the driver side, most of them are naive and ignorant, they hear the “make 60k weekly on Uber” and fall for it. So after getting into an agreement , they find out how bad they f***d up. And want to f**k up their bosses back... breach of agreement .

Gbas Gbo’s every where.

Like I always say.... the highest rental should be 25k weekly.

If someone still dey give u 100k a month on the platform with your car in good shape. It’s bether than 30-35k, with car written off, and fights after.
Men i can relate the bonded.. I suffered from it men, two weeks on the road third week mechanic shop

What's the best strategy to profit from uber 20trips?
I meet a driver that said he wakes up very early on Monday and position in Kelli phase 1, he only accept short trips withing lekki phase 1, and makes sure he stays till he hit the 15trips then.. Then after that he starts positioning for long trips....which is working folks? Let's talk earning strategy-these is one of the reason the thread was formed
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by adsmaster: 9:11pm On Nov 01, 2019
Sup with all these owner partners wanting drivers that's stay in a particular area or location. My former partner stays in surgery, I stay in badore, his mechanic is in surulere, we got into and agreement and both parties adhere to it. I take the car to his mechanic if there is problems, I take it for servicing when it's due, I take if for inspection as agreed in the agreement. Your'all should stop all these driver must reside in sambisa forest where I reside else I wouldn't not give out the car.. .i mean even if driver leaves on the said area the car will take trips all round Lagos, and if driver wants to default he will default. Create systems that manages the partnership effectively,
**Car trackers.
***Agreement with lawyer seal
*** etc

Please let's think outside the box.

PS.. I notice there are more car available these days on the mainland, my question is are there more car owner turning up or drivers defaulting on the said agreement... These i need driver ads hardly pop up in the island and lekki environs
