Planting season is between April and and early October. Type of land is also a factor to be considered.

Cultivating cashew is easy and requires less input, but it requires a more specific environment and growing conditions. If you can provide that environment then you can grow your cashew tree and make money from the nuts and fresh fruits that are called cashew apple throughout the year.

Cashew requires poor Sandy or laterite soil, ensure the soil is well drained and permeable. Do not plant cashew on clay soil because it encourages water lodging

6 plots makes one acre. 2.5 acres makes one hectare.

Why stalled the thread, I will like to read more from your experience. I just established an heacter of cocoa and plantation this cropping coming to an end. I planted the 18 months cocoa sourced from CRIN my farm location is Leege in Odigbo LGA On do state. Do I need to irrigate during the dry season to make 18 months realistic
