Hello, my People ... JUSTX24 in the house ... Some people might be here who know me, and most of you will not.
Seeing how far the FTA discussion has grown on Nairaland is awesome, well-done, everyone.

I want to know the latest FTA technology and what is available. I think someone should create an updated introduction/Tutorial for FTA newbies like myself . It's easy to get lost in the discussion here, So a dedicated spot with a link on every page should be made available and easy to find. I want to learn and see if I can get involved in an FTA project in my free time, since technologies are much more advance than when It all started..(Check the first page of the number 1 thread for FTA). Some legends ( Olofofo, Enitan, Ola, Badiru, Twintaye etc.) were available to help me and my interest quickly grew and I was able to help other interested people too. Lifting my Hat up to Everyone on here .. I need an updated referesher. But maybe not just for me ...for everybody.

Please I'm trying to split the output of a LNB to 2 receivers.

1 decoder, 1 satellite TV

I've tried a 4 way splitter

Neither works. It seems only 1 receiver can work at a time

What am I doing wrong?

What if I take my decorder to arena oshodi, and they use their dish to get the nigcomsat signal and channels for me , if take it home and plug in my antenna will it get signals?

Input 10972 v 27509 and Raise up your dish a bit .
Still didn't get signal, this joy TV is very easy , if I input nigcomsat 12518 h 29500 it's joy I get

I think Satview is not on same satellite as nigcomsat. It's only captured on same lnb

Good day house ,I on my Srt 4954H & i saw software update display on my screen because my decoder has a WiFi connection i took the remote click on upgrade then it has stocked at 82% for the past 45 minutes still no movement, Pls do i do to avoid the decoder damaging? Thanks guys. Waiting for useful information

Thanks for your i actually do use it for tracking of satellite because of it powerful sensor in picking frequency when tracking for signals hence am interested in asking if i can repair it?Thanks

Pls Gurus in the house i thank everyone immensely for the good teaching & answering of relevant questions being asked from house members Kudos .Meanwhile i have SRT 4922A decoder that the Tuner has suddenly stopped picking up satellite signals even when it does it will flash green in some frequency & go off within seconds in others it will show green but deeply low frequency .
Pls house what is actually the problem and how to rectify it or should i give it to a repairer?
Pls anyone with a similar experience should guide me about this issue

On the 17th of November which was a Friday, I used the ATM of a bank at a filling station and I was debited but the ATM had dispense error and wouldn't dispense cash.those around the filling station asked me to wait for 24 hours and it will reverse automatically.
All throughout the weekend, I got nothing.
On Monday, I wrote a mail to my bank stating what happened and asked for a refund. They replied that it has been escalated and it's being worked on, but because the ATM I used is not of my bank, they had to contact the other bank to know if the transaction was successful or not and it would take 3-5 working days.
The 5 working days elapsed yesterday and I still haven't gotten any response.
Do I have a case if I decide to sue my bank?
