The Present Truth of Our Time

Dear friend, there is a 'Present Truth' for our generation - The Three Angels' Message. We have received the everlasting gospel that is to prepare us for the coming day of glory when Christ returns to reap the harvest of the righteous. This message should be a priority in our lives. Yes, there are other precious truths in God's word, and our salvation is found in total obedience, even to the present truth. We have a choice to make, and only the truth can set us free.

The Generation of Saints who vindicate the character of God! 

"...The honor of God, the honor of Christ, is involved in the perfection of the character of His people." - DA 671.3 Just as Christ had come to glorify the Father by his demonstration of love for the salvation of man, this generation of saints will dedicate their lives to righteousness and have been purified by the blood of the Lamb to exalt the name of God even in the time of great tribulation. They will, by this act, vindicate the character of God and establish his glory for all ages!

The message of Christ's Second Coming is the Present Truth for our Time

Are you open to receiving the truth of our time? Unfortunately, when the truth is revealed, many people prefer to compare it to an existing tradition rather than the Scripture. The Bible expressly proclaims the truth of the last days, which is echoed by the Three Angels' messages in Revelation. The wise and faithful servants who have been appointed as rulers and teachers of God's people must not relent in giving out this "meat" in due season (Matt. 24:44-45). The Second Coming of Jesus is near!

It is futile to fight the truth

Just because the truth doesn't reveal itself in conformity with our expectations will not diminish its purpose and necessity. To reject it is to reject the benefits that pertain to those who accept it. We can learn a lesson from the religious leaders of the Jews who rejected the present truth of Christ as the promised Messiah because they were blinded by an image of who they thought the Messiah would be. Are we doing any better today? Have you accepted the present truth of our time?

When John the Baptist came preaching repentance, baptism, and the coming of the Messiah, many people (especially the religious leaders and elders of Israel) rejected his message. But what they didn't realize was that by rejecting John's message, they were also rejecting the truth of Jesus Christ, who came as the Savior for all people. It's a powerful reminder to always be open to the present truth, even if it might not be popular. Test all doctrines, and if they are consistent with Scripture, you should accept them.

Today, many people want to define sin for themselves; they use their misinterpretation of scripture as an excuse to continue in their sins. But the truth is that they are only deceiving themselves! Such self-deceit will only lead to eternal destruction. When you've truly repented, the Spirit of God reforms every part of your being and transforms you into the light of righteousness. You will begin to desire godliness and eschew all forms of evil. There should be no price too high to pay for true repentance.

Beware of those who seek to overthrow your faith by promoting falsehood as doctrines. I encourage you to hold fast and not deviate from that which is written in the Scripture. "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free" - John 8:32. How does truth make us free? Through sanctification (John 17:17)! Seek out the truth of God's Word and let it shape your worship and daily life.

We cannot of our own guess what the will of God is concerning any concept unless we subject our reasoning to the guidance of the Bible. So as you go forth in faith, protect yourself against the wind of doctrines of devils that seek to toss believers out of the truth.

True doctrine is a window to the character of God

God is best worshipped by the dictates of His word as clearly spelt out in the Scriptures and not by the traditions or standards of men. We cannot of our own guess what the will of God is concerning any concept unless we subject our reasoning to the guidance of the Bible. So as you go forth in faith, protect yourself against the wind of doctrines of devils that seek to toss believers out of the truth.

Does the truth matter? Is sincerity of heart not enough? 

No dear friend, you must be sincere in your worship of God as well as on the path of truth in the teachings you accept. If it falls below the standard of the Bible, then it is a false doctrine and must be rejected. The true doctrines of the Bible are essential for every true Christian. Don't let worldly distractions or false teachings lead you astray—stay focused on the truths of the Bible and strive to live a life that is faithful to God.
