Why be afraid of death, when it is not the end?

There are many people today who have been held in the slavery of sin because of the fear of death. They have been made to believe that standing for the truth will make them an easy target for the wicked, who seem to enjoy the darkness of evil. The fear of death should not be a reason to remain in bondage; Christ has overcome death, and in his hands lie the keys to eternal life. When he returns, all who have died in Christ will be resurrected.
