Having a child does not delay immigration, it's getting married that does. I guess. You can do your research to further confirm my claim.

Note - You have to list the name of all the children you have now wherever there's an option to list them during all the application process. If you fail to list them and you want to file for them later in the future, they will hold it against you and might even charge you with misrepresention of information and you might lose your legal status. Exception is if the child was born after the application process.

These people don't lose information even if it's 100 years ago you filed it the application, they will pull it up and show it to your face. So you have to be careful and thorough in whatever you do.
