You guys should give him credit for thinking he can do it, not pull him down even before he starts, that's failures talking. Bro you can do it, there is nothing you set your mind too, that you can't do, go through history people have done it too, just arm yourself with wisdom and for that you'll get a reward. You can do it and only if YOU believe you can. Will be watching this page, failures sit back and watch this guy succeed, then come back and tell me your excuses again. But of low life blood sucking failures.

Its simple, the man has openly declared he is not going to follow, the law, why try to twist his words here and there "I will not declare my asset" so if the leader of Nigeria refuses to follow the law, why then should any Nigerian do what the law says afterall its nobody's business. See I have said it and I'll say it again, if that man has any honour left in his body, he should just resign and tell us he can't handle this country. So the states that his planes can't land, there are no roads there abi? What a SHAME!!!!

My pre-eclmapsia story3
So my mind was a bit rested since the doctors said she is fine and baby was doing okay. Cool shey, for where the leg swelling was not over ohhh, now it came out more, even after my night duty massaging and leg proping, no way even put the pillow under mattress. When she wakes up takes her bath with the space of that 40 mins time the leg has started swelling again talk more of carrying that leg the whole day, it was a nightmare sometimes she had to leave her desk, go to the ladies room and cry a bit. She always proped her feet in the office as best as she could and since its a working environment slippers were not allowed. Sometimes I get home to meet her crying, it was heart wrenching for me, but nothing I could do in my power but to say sorry and massage as best as I could, now that's when I started researching online ways to ease swelling of feet during preg saw all sorts tried the ones I could, including reducing salt, still nothing till a climatic sunday morning. We got ready for church, got to church where wifey was feeling herself at all she barely made it through the sermon, but immediately after the sermon she went to the car. I stayed back and did the socializing a bit. By the time I got to the car all she said was hospital, mind you we had not reached the 2weeks that the doctors said for us to check back. I took her to my mums place first since a nurse was there so her bp was checked it read a strange 170/110 that's when the worry frown showed up on my face. I knew it was hospital straight. We stay in festac and our hospital was on allen, that's because of the HMO she signed @ work. We got there and this male doctor started with us, but he pissed me off a bit cos he wasn't telling use anything, even when we tried explaining our history to him. The next thing I knew was she admitted and series of test and a word started coming to me. A dangerous word called pre-eclmapsia. I didn't know what it meant but thanks to google I started my research. Hmmm my people fear grip me.

My pre-eclampsia story 2
Her leg started swelling, she would come back from work and the leg would be swollen and painful. Now as a naïve man I know that preg women leg does swell, but I thot it was too early for that which she told me she had a history of leg swelling which turned her to exercising, when she was still single. So she told me massaging would help to ease the swelling and take the water back into the system, which I did. In my mind I said na me put am there so must work. so I asked mum and she said she should put her leg up when she sleeps in the night which corresponded with what my dear wife told me, so that was my work for nights to come massage and prop up her feet. Sex was out the window for me let's say phobia, low libido or whatever just wasn't so interested see me running from sex, haaa na me be this few times I'll give in to wifey's demand especially when she says doctors orders. Anyway back to the story please be patient its long, but during my trial times I searched for stories like this but only found sketchy stuff. On the 27th jan wifey decided to go to the hospital to see if the doctors would say anything different. Getting there her bp was checked it was high wasn't there so I don't know how high (men you have to be on ground so you know the facts of your case) preg time check so far was 19weeks so the doctor gave her aldomet (don't know how many grams but 2tablets though) and she was asked to report back to the hospital the next day. Which she did. They took some blood to run some test and asked her to come back the next day. The next day doctor told her she was fine and her bp had come down, but nothing was said on the leg swelling. Watch out for part 3 when the real nightmare started.

My pre-eclampsia story, I will tell from the man's point of view. We got preg in sept baby dancing (bd) after her birthday. Shortly after she felt sick, went to the hospital, and got treated for malaria, we didn't know she was preg at the time. Shortly after she informed me she didn't see her period. I asked her to go do a test which came out +ve. @ the time we were not married. So immediately started wedding preparations, 1st trimester went quickly without any morning sickness just always feeling sleepy, well unlucky for me I wasn't around to experience that period. Now wedding over in december fast forward to january 3 we started antenatal and the normal drugs were prescribed and given ( at the time I wasn't too involved, didn't think I was needed) guy pls be very involved. Then she started work it was tough at first and she was happy when the strike started so she could get some rest. Strike got called off then the nightmare started.

FamilyRe: Marriage Counsellors by Afamdman(m): 10:43pm On Apr 07, 2012
The marriage counseling system is sort of embedded in churches, so I don't know any counseling outfits. But my pastor teaches on marriages and I must say he is good at it. His name is pastor Kingsley Okonkwo and he has a TV program on STV (love dating and marriage), but if your interested I could get you a way to contact him.

FamilyRe: I Need A Break. This Is Insane by Afamdman(m): 12:47pm On Mar 31, 2012
@ Queensmith I think I mentioned somewhere in my post about reporting the case to the police so he gets his. I don't condole domestic violence, and my point exactly you ladies only see what you want to see. I guess no one chose the man for you, so you married him with your eyes open, honey there is the saying look before you leap, don't marry a man who doesn't want to learn about marriage, ladies please find the right things to look for in a man. Men don't marry a woman that will drive you to the wall, lose your cool and do what you shouldn't do. h
FamilyRe: I Need A Break. This Is Insane by Afamdman(m): 12:09pm On Mar 31, 2012
@queensmith my advice to women in abusive relationship, for me I'll always want to find out the cause of the abuse. From the cause most times you get the solution. Now any man that beats his wife is a coward and should receive the same treament back, as a woman if your husband beats you, pls report his ass to the police so he can get his own share back, how do you as a man beat yourself, cause that what you do as you beat your wife and batter her face. Now to stop the abuse, its always in what caused the man to be abusive in the first place, but truth be told some women can drive a man insane, please ladies let a man be a man. The solution to abusive relationships lies in both parties wanting to learn how to be better partners for their partner and it actually takes 2 to fight it also takes 2 to learn to succeed in marriage..
FamilyRe: I Need A Break. This Is Insane by Afamdman(m): 11:46am On Mar 31, 2012
Its the responsibility of both man and woman to find out how the be the best partner they can be, and if you don't learn you are bound to have troubles..I for one when I was younger saw myself as a man that any woman would be lucky to have. I thot I was the full packeage.. Till I met my mentor in marriage and have since learnt a lot, that I wonder how I would have made a successful husband, a simple scenrios here, you and your wife travel for shopping and how then do you split the money for shopping, to me 50-50 is so fair, but I learnt to split the money 3 ways give wifey 2 potions did I hear you say why, well its actually a logical and simple reason, women need shoes in different colours, men, a black shoe is enough, women need far more cloths and since their fashion circle is shorter than men's own, women need all sorts of soap and cream, leg cream, face cream, body cream, you get my drift now. Well I will do my best to post more on topics I see hopefully I can help some men learn more. And women too.
FamilyRe: I Need A Break. This Is Insane by Afamdman(m): 8:23am On Mar 31, 2012
I have only one thing to say, @debrief from reading in as many topics as poßsible, you only have one advice, leave that man. Don't get me wrong it could be a good advice, but if its your only advice to every problem, them your advice is suspect. Even in cases where the woman is clearly the problem you always find a way to question the man's action say its his fault the woman is acting like this, clearly something you preach against if its the woman getting the wrong end of the stick. Sometimes I wonder if you dislike men so much, why did you get re-married. Me thinks there are better advices for women out there dig deep and find such and advice and dish it out, clearly some women listen to you so please give good councel. Whatever happened to a woman reporting the case to the police, and have that stupid man be dealt with in the cell, and b4 you say it don't happpen ask, police don't condole wife beating, they will beat the crap out of any man that beats his wife. @jenny no be today I have learnt how to ignore your post a long time ago, thank God your not God we for all don die since. Amebo number 1 leave these women to come here and find solution to their various problem abeg and thankfully you don't own nairaland. Thankfully. Oya let the bashing of me start.

I read the comments from all and sundry all I saw was another trablist thread even you yourself couldn't help but spew trablism on it.okay genius, why was the thread now closed if it was doing what you created it for. Please don't let me lose my cool and pout hot water on you. Msheeeew.
PoliticsWhy Can I Still Read A Closed Thread (for Mr. Seun) by Afamdman(op): 1:41pm On Mar 27, 2012
I guess the reason a thread is closed is because of the content of the thread, so how comes I can still read the contents won't it be better if the thread was deleted all together so it does not spread the hate it was created for. for example (If You're Sick And Tired Of E-wars Between Yorubas And Igbos On NL) please just delete the thread totally. Thanks Mr Seun.

WOmen are generally inferior to men intellectually, so naturally men arent programmed to talk to them as equals. I feel real bad for the OP, but as a quintessential man, I totally know what is going on since I dont ever see myself chatting with a woman about something hearty or interesting, besides food and s3x that is.

OP: the only solution here is to make new friends wherever you are.  No matter how hard you try, trust me, your husband isnt coming around.
what a response, your obviously not married. please for the sake of your wife not coming here in future to complain of same thing, please dont you ever get married. @ poster the root of your problem is from the beginning of your relationship, tell us how was your relation before you both got married, were you both ready to get married or the pregnancy forced both your hands. pls reply.
