A man who raped his 63-year-old mother and broke her neck in an argument about money has been jailed for 11-years.
The 46-year-old from Cincinnati, Ohio “dragged her around the home, punching her in the face and body” and “forcibly raped her”, according to court documents cited by The Cincinnati Enquirer.
She suffered a fractured vertebrae in her neck, bruises, and cuts and bite marks to her inner thighs and back.
Anne Flanagan, an assistant prosecutor in the case, told Judge Charles Kubicki the mother tried to flee naked to a neighbour’s house, but her son dragged her back home before throwing her “back over the fence”.
She also told Hamilton County Common Pleas Court the mother’s DNA was found on the defendant’s genitals.

After initially trying to renege on his plea deal at the last moment, the man who has not been named to protect his mother's identity, pleaded guilty to rape.
"I take my plea back," he said. "I want to go to trial with this. It's all bogus and lies."
After words with his lawyer, who told the judge his client was “having a hard time wrapping his mind around” the sentence, the man changed his mind.
The man did eventually go on to plead guilty to rape, criminal assault and kidnapping. In exchange for his plea, prosecutors dropped charges of attempted rape and abduction.
"This is a bad situation. I feel bad about the whole incident. But I don't even know what happened. I blacked out, somebody slipped me something in my drink. I don't even know what was going on. I just don't know," he said.
The mother was not involved in the case because of “affection for her son”, prosecutors said.

Robbers broke into the office of Air Peace in Akure, Ondo State and robbed the airline of millions of naira over the weekend.

Air Peace employees discovered that the office had been robbed when they resumed work on Monday.
Our correspondent learned that the robbers had gathered that Air Peace regularly leaves large sums of money in its vault from Friday to Sunday. Acting on this information, the robbers broke into the office and carted away the vault over the weekend while the business was closed.
A source who confirmed the incident to SR said the robbers broke into the office through a crack in a wall.
“The hoodlums burgled into the office of the airline through a small cracked wall and stole valuables including the vault. I learned that they couldn't immediately break the vault in the short process and hence the reason for taking it away.
“In fact, some booking tickets and other things were carted during the operation, which only lasted few minutes.
“The police have arrested all the staff of the airline and they are currently being interrogated at the Oba Ile police station. Even some management staff of the airline have arrived from Lagos over the case because it was so shocking," he said.
A source at the Oba Ile Police Station in the Akure North Local Government Area of the state also confirmed the robbery case to SR in Akure.
The source said an investigation into the robbery is ongoing, adding that the security guards attached to the airport are also being interrogated.
"We have arrested all the people (staff) that are working in the main office of the airline, including the security guards. As I am talking to you, some of the staff are being interrogated in our station here in Oba Ile,” he said.
Femi Joseph, the spokesperson for the Ondo State Police Command, said he has yet to confirm the details of the case.
Mr. Joseph noted that the case has not been reported to his office as at the time one of our correspondents made contact.

All efforts to reach the management of the Air Peace airline proved abortive as all the mobile lines provided were not connecting.

Former U.S. President, Barack Obama, has picked Nigeria’s Kehinde Wiley to paint his official presidential portrait.

The Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery while making the announcement said Wiley is an exciting choice for the presidential portrait.

Wiley, a hip-hop portraitist, is known for lush, larger-than-life portraits that overlay black street culture with European classical motifs.

The New York-based artist will have a novel spin on the traditionally formal composition.

Wiley has painted rappers LL Cool J in the style of John Singer Sargent, Ice T as Emperor Napoleon by David, and young African American men in stained glass tableaus, like saints in a cathedral.

Born to a Nigerian father and an African American mother, the background of his paintings reference African cloth patterns, snaking through the composition to give further clues on his subject.

The Obamas’s portraits, which will surely draw selfie enthusiasts, will be unveiled at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC next year.

Free things are not always advisable but as a blog starter without money to get a Top Level Domain yet you can start with this free .tk, .ml domains.

These free domains just as the name implies are free. You did not buy them which means it might be deleted at any time though they give you 12 months (1 year free trial).

If you are looking to build a brand with such domain then its not recommended. Get a Top Level Domain e.g. .com, .net etc.
