Christlike01: Chinedu, you have no idea what you’re wishing for! Nigeria is not Venezuela—Africa is a highly tribal space. I’m not saying Trump couldn’t attempt the same Venezuelan playbook in Nigeria, but the outcome would not be the same. Take this hint: make sure you’re not in any part of Yorubaland if such a Venezuelan-style scenario is ever played out or repeated in Nigeria. The country would never be the same again, and it would be exceptionally tough for people who cannot live on their own ancestral land.
Some people are not just wise! Keep crying. Trump is coming. FYI: Not everyone is Igbo and not everyone lives in the dump you call Nigeria, but you wouldn't know cause bigotry has blinded you. |

FreeStuffsNG: You're clearly ignorant. This year I will not waste time on ignorant people who speak with authority on what they clearly don't understand.
Nigeria’s not even in the top countries with road accident yet you want to drag in your unpatriotic view into it.
Inferiority complex/low self esteem is not bliss o.
Diogo Jota and his brother got killed in road accident in Nigeria too, abi? Or those 40 burnt to death and 115 injured today 1st of January,2026 are Nigerians too? Smh Oga, simple question, are there speed limits or speed cameras on the highway? simple question, you dey convulse. Abi do you think that those sane societies install these devices on their highway for decorations? Your initial postulation was that over-speeding is a common occurrence on that high way and I have simply suggested the appropriate solution to limit this. But here you are defending the indefensible in the name of patriotism. Just today alone, there was another accident that killed six on that same high way due to over-speeding. Over the course of the coming days/weeks, there would be lots more accidents/deaths there, simply because of the greedy leaders and their lowIQ defenders that refuse to acknowledge or do the right thing. |
Travel › Re: Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Crash On New Year Day: Passengers Trapped, Feared Dead by Afrobasic(m): 10:45pm On Jan 01 |
FreeStuffsNG: If you see the over speed on that express road ehn, you will know it's accident waiting to happen.
It's like the fixing of that road was taken as license to drive to hell! It is not fixing the road that is the problem. It is the anyhowness of Nigerian society. First and foremost, are there any speed limit signage on that road? Any road markings or traffic signs? Or even road cameras ? These are the issue that make this country a failed state. Everything is just anyhow. Our leaders do the barest minimum and expect a round of applause. |

madridguy: I have said it here long time ago, if we really need a good change in Nigeria, let we the masses just beg the USA, UK, CANADA, FRANCE and Germany never to allow Nigeria politicians and their children in their country again believe me within 2 years we will have good roads, good hospitals and schools.
When they know there's no where they can keep their wives and children again, they will fix everything in Nigeria.
I am very happy about the US pressing their neck concerning the killings of Non-Muslims and Christians that the FG has failed to address for a very long time now.
The US should please arm the Christians in Kaduna, Benue, and Plateau maybe by doing so the Nigeria government will know they need to create a special colony for herdsmen instead of giving them AK47 to kill farmers and destroyed peoples farmland.
As for the Shariah law, any Muslim with basic Islamic knowledge will know that no country on earth in practising Shariah law fairly. The elites are just using it against their followers. In a good Shariah law settings, its the followers that will be enjoying so much why the head/leaders will be serving them.
In Shariah law, when someone is caught for stealing, you set up a committee and look for 2/3 witnesses that was there when the suspected person steals. Now, the 2/3 witness will be presented for the entire community ans ask the community if any of the witnesses have caught telling lies before.... If one of the witness is confirmed to have tell lies before then he cannot witness against the suspect.
Now, supposing the witnesses are all upright, they will still ask the suspect why did he steals, after that, the qodi/judge will order that a job must be provided for him so when he's working he wouldn't go back to stealing.
Shariah is so sweet but the elites twisted in their favour and use it as a tools against the masses. The messenger of Allah PBUH, will never eat as a leader except every of his followers and their families have eaten. This is what leadership means. Oga, wait ohh... na you type this comment? So you can have sense like this I am indeed flabagasted. |
