CoronaVirusPro: Educate yourself. Power generation is not the foundation of our power issue. It is transmission. As it stands today, we can’t even transmit all we generating. So building more power plant is out of the picture. What an embarrassing comment. Generation is the primary issue, whilst transmission is the secondary issue. But Nigeria has failed woefully at both, so here you are, trying to Sergio Ramos. There's no nation in the 21st century that can progress on a measly 5 GW of power. |

Just the other day on front page ronus were swearing that the whole Nigeria now has constant electricity. Just look at this. The generating capacity has barely changed. Yet they want us to believe in their lies. |

Notice most of the commentary is all from a certain tribe?
Even that one that claims to be from Jos has a SW name? 🤣
This APC people really believe Nigerians are fools. Come 2027, they would use constant electricity to campaign. Meanwhile the generating capacity of the nation is still at 6000 MW. 🤣🤣 |

gidigbam1: Go get a life! The same Nigeria is building people's life. Do you know how many people are making it in Nigeria? Or you think its everybody in the USA or Canada that is making it? She is on a special scholarship by UN agencies so her life is on auto pilot.
Karen Igho of Big Brother Africa is also in the US. I saw her on queue for a food stamp earlier this year. All her colleagues in Nigeria have made it really big. She's in the USA, and it appears the USA has also killed her life.
God can bless you wherever you are and not necessarily cos you are in Naija or yankee. We need to stop blaming Naija for everything abeg. This una poverty mentality too loud. Will you keep quiet! US is 100x better than Nigeria. Karen Igho being on food stamp alone is statement to this fact. With the economic turmoil and extreme hunger in Nigeria, how many of the poor in Nigeria have food stamps? Your guess is as good as mine! |

PigTormentor: Where does the fisr lady gets all these money from? Are these her personal money or govt funds?
if it's her money then it's ok, if it's govt funds then she should not be involved at all. What exactly does she do that would make her capable of donating 1B? It's definitely not her money or it is money acquired from stolen funds. Simple. |

The same ebilokan who made Jonathan a one term president in favour of a clueless northerner who he called expired in 2011.
Na which kind juju be that, for Akpabio and his mocking advise? This is what pisses me off about the Niger delta. We too loose guard. Too passive. Na we supposed make noise pass for this Nigeria. South East supposed dey learn work from our hand especially with this current administration. Anyway sha, one day we go wake up. |

SmartPolician: What's the value in USD so we can compare it with those of other countries?
The last time I checked, IMF stated that Nigeria's GDP was $198 billion.
Agbadohs don go do their usual abracadabra Damn, is it that low now? Crazy to think that Nigeria once had a GDP of half a trillion dollars ($500 billion), before the incompetent Buhari and his counterpart came in and ruined everything. Shithole. |
Politics › Re: Nigeria GDP Swells To ₦372.8 Trillion In 2024 After Rebasing by Afrobasic(m): 6:06am On Jul 22, 2025 |
These people think we are fools. The GDP standard is a metric calculated in US dollars. They have deliberately used naira here to fool the unsuspecting and deflect from their abysmal performance. We all know that the naira has lost a significant chunk of its value since 2019, so the 41% nonsense you have up there means absolutely nothing. |
