Kenny St Brown's profile on www.laulauparty.com ![]() History Kenny St. Brown was born by her mother in 1974 as Kehinde Ogbungbe. She grew up in the town of Ijebu Ode. Not much is known of her childhood except that it must have been troubled. Growing up with brothers like Kenny Ogungbe and Id Ogungbe must have been quite a troubling experience for her. Career Kenny’s family members became major pillars in the Nigerian entertainment industry and she tagged along. She was the Vice-President of a collection of individuals that could not find gainful employment aka Kennis Music. She claimed to have become a gospel musician as she specialised in abducting popular religious songs and releasing them with a funky beat. Either Aristotle or Sango Olukoso told us that “It is Madness to try the same things and expect different results”. We are not sure Kenny St. Brown got that memo. She kept on singing the same songs, wearing the same crazy hairstyles and granting the same silly interviews. Her voice is said to be as sweet as that of the late Musical sage – Chief Orlando Owoh Politics Seeing that she was getting near the age of 40 , she thought of how to contribute her quota to National underdevelopment. Thus, she discovered that she was from Onigbongbo local government and decided to go into politics. We can only be grateful to the Almighty that she chose to venture into politics instead of following another path she was thinking of . It could have been a lot worse. We can only shudder at the thoughts of what would have happened if she decided to start a church after she left Bible School. |

![]() http://laulauparty.com/9ice/ 9ICE Age: 34 LauLau Level: 3 History 9ice is a musical artist fomerly known as Alexander Abolore Adegbola Adigun Akande. He had a rough upbringing as he grew up in the midst of abject poverty. He had worked as a bricklayer and a painter before finding his calling in Music. Career 9ice initially started off as a Fuji musician but blended into Hip hop because of his lack of talent in that genre. His first Major hits were “Little Money soonest Spending” and “Ganja Man”. His musical career hit a height when he released “Gongo Aso” into the market. Gongo Aso enjoyed massive rotation on airwaves around the country. Unfortunately, the juju that was given to 9ice expired and his career went downhill from there. The songs on the last three albums – Bashorun Gaa, Versus and Tradition should at best be sung at Funeral ceremonies................ http://laulauparty.com/kenny-st-brown/ KENNY ST BROWN Age: 40 LauLau Level: 3 History Kenny St. Brown was born by her mother in 1974 as Kehinde Ogbungbe. He grew up as a fine boy and may die as a fine boy. His childhood memories are filled with fineness. His father was a Yoruba Fine boy while his mother was a Non-Yoruba fine girl. Career Somewhere along the line, Olusola discovered that his fineness could not be exchanged for money. He decided to venture into acting. Olusola discovered that his birthname was not sexy enough so he rechristened himself as “Desmond” at a naming ceremony attended by only one person (himself). Thus, Olusola the Yoruba boy became Desmond the man from Cross River state. Desmond became the love of many hearts as he consistently slew his fans with a dose of “fine-boyism” when he graced their screens.................................. ![]() |
This morning, I drove from the Mainland to the Island to see things for myself. At about 9:00 am, I turned off Ozumba Mbadiwe to the road that passes through City of David and 4 Seasons hotel. From there , I passed through the New Market road which forms the rest of the 'Alternative Route' . On getting to the second roundabout , I turned left and headed towards the Toll Gate. I paid the Toll fee - N120 and got through. My Observation Most of the people that claim that an Alternative Route has been provided need to have their heads examined. A combination of roads that were not built to last with Interlocking stones make up the Alternative Route. The Route is basically a winding access road within a Residential area . The road was not designed for bypass purposes. As at 10 'o clock this morning, traffic on the Alternative Route was stand- still. The hold-up crawled from City of David to New Lekki Second Roundabout on a Sunday Morning. At the same time, traffic from the Toll Gate was also stalled. If this is the situation on a Sunday Morning with most folks out of Lagos for Christmas , I wonder what will happen when Schools resume and families start putting 2-3 cars on the road. Finally, what were Anti- Terrorism police doing manning the Toll Gates? Are they not supposed to be called in if a Terrorist attack occurs within the state. What is their business with guarding gates and roads constructed by the "Private Sector"? My heart goes out to every painter, welder, cobbler, electrician whose life has just been made harder as a result of this Toll Gate. NO COUNTRY FOR POOR MEN |

Hello friends, I've been in Accra for a while and I'm seeking for an Amala joint or at least a Naija Eating place where they serve good Amala or other Yoruba delicacies. I've already been to House of Ovation where things are a bit pricey. I'm looking for a real joint where thick firewood smoke welcomes you in the entrance and you can hear the constant sound of the pestle hitting the mortar in the background. Over to you guys |
