Please be it known unto you every politician always want to cash in on his/her pedigree/structure/brand but what should be paramount is for any politician that is endorsing or anointing another politician to ensure the Godson is a good product

When Tinubu did it for Fashola in 2007,there was a big conflagration but right from when electioneering campaign started people instantly loved Fashola and Tinubu was commended for his sagacity in that regards. even in SW,there are core Tinubu loyalists who belong to the MANDATE group within the larger APC party

But Obasanjo failed resoundingly in his own attempt at foisting Yaradua/GEJ on the PDP and Nation at large owing to what became of them in terms of performance.......

Gen Buhari is no different,he has his core loyalists and followers apart from the general APC members in any state.......so it is normal for him to support his own people who have been with him through thick and thin rather than an opportunist who just want to leverage on his brand name to win election and not acknowledge him

It sometimes baffle me when people think the so called 'primaries' being conducted by political parties is a process in isolation........it is he who controls the delegates that will win the ticket or whose candidate or loyalists will win the ticket

So you expect those who are loyalists of Buhari to go against his instruction and vote someone who will turn out to be a rebel and go rogue?

Some of you indeed are just experiencing politics hence thinks the fact that they say there would be primaries means anyone will just emerge.......why do all politicians try to ensure their loyalists emerge as delegates towards any election? Is it not to make the process of winning the ticket or supporting someone who would eventually win easy?
