When there is tracking failure of a stolen phone, can I ask for a refund of my money? I am no more interested in tracking, it is over a month or two now.

ukaface:Birds of the same gene. They would still have been hailing this immoral and drugging NDLEA ambassador and musician if not for the guy's death. |
Why are we protesting against our NDLEA ambassador? |
We are Nigerians. Until something evil happens to us, we count what is evil or potentially dangerous as good. Many of those condemning Naira now would have kept hailing him if not for the news of 'ohbad's death. I was very sad to see pupils in my school sing those evil, imorral and foolish songs last year at their inter house sport. May God deliver Nigeria. |

Ladies and gentlemen, I hereby submit to you the immense value and benefits of farming in our beloved nation, Nigeria. Agriculture holds the key to unlocking a brighter future for our economy, our people, and our environment. Allow me to present compelling reasons why we should all embrace and support farming in Nigeria. Firstly, agriculture plays a crucial role in our economic development. It contributes a significant share to our Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and remains a major source of employment, particularly in rural areas. By investing in farming, we create opportunities for individuals to earn a sustainable income, improve their livelihoods, and uplift their communities. Supporting farmers and agriculture-based enterprises will have a multiplier effect on our economy, driving growth and reducing poverty. Secondly, agriculture is essential for ensuring food security in our nation. With a growing population, it is imperative that we have a robust and reliable food supply. By increasing our local food production, we can reduce our dependence on imports, safeguard ourselves against price fluctuations, and ensure that all Nigerians have access to affordable and nutritious food. Investing in farming means investing in the well-being and nourishment of our people. Moreover, embracing agriculture is an avenue for economic diversification. For too long, our nation has relied heavily on oil revenue, leaving us vulnerable to global price volatility. By promoting farming, we can diversify our economy, reduce dependence on a single sector, and mitigate the impact of oil price fluctuations. Agricultural exports have the potential to generate substantial foreign exchange earnings, stimulate economic growth, and position Nigeria as a leading agricultural powerhouse. Furthermore, farming can play a pivotal role in addressing climate change challenges. Sustainable agricultural practices conserve soil fertility, protect water resources, and promote biodiversity. By adopting climate-smart techniques, such as agroforestry and precision farming, we can enhance resilience, adapt to changing climatic conditions, and contribute to global efforts in mitigating climate change. Agriculture is not just about producing food; it is about being stewards of the land and preserving our natural resources for future generations. In addition, farming presents an immense opportunity for our youth. Unemployment among young Nigerians remains a pressing issue, and the agricultural sector offers a solution. By encouraging entrepreneurship, providing training and access to finance, and promoting agribusiness ventures, we empower our youth to take up farming as a viable career choice. The sector's potential for innovation and technological advancements, such as hydroponics, drone usage, and precision agriculture, provides an exciting and dynamic space for young minds to thrive. In conclusion, my fellow Nigerians, let us recognize the undeniable benefits of farming in our nation. Through agriculture, we can strengthen our economy, ensure food security, foster diversification, address climate challenges, empower our youth, and build a better future for all.

How do we advance from where we are? First, we need to realise that the development of an economy is achieved with collective efforts. We cry for better wage when inflation keeps rising to make the wage useless. Wage increase is a bad for an ailing economy like Nigeria's because it is import dependent even on food products and overdependent on oil. When wages rise, inflation rises. The question? What's the way out and how do we drive the growth and development of our economy up? Facilitate local production by making sure you have a contribution in agriculture as a sector. Do we then fly? Yes and no. It is not wise for us to now jump into producing phones, laptops and other sophisticated items when we can do something else that's worthwhile. What do you call a man that does not know his strengths and is worried about his weaknesses? If we facilitate production on what we know best, we will reach the height of development we have dreamt of. God has blessed us here in Nigeria with good soils and favourable climatic conditions. So, let us go to farm (innovatively) so we can feed our nation, feed Africa, feed our colonial masters and get paid, and then feed the world. Air your views here in the comment/reply section. |
Why should they? They have green pastures all around them. Even a child in JSS 2 in the North has his own plot(s) of land to grow GREENEST PASTURES. |
That is a good one. |
