So you also enjoy Kdrama OST's. I have over a hundred on my phone.
Wow over a 100 - u know wot's up.
My top OSTs currently:
Heirs
Birth of a Beauty
Master's Sun
Secret Garden
My Love from Another Star
It's OK That's Love (omg, an Awesome ost)
My Girlfriend is a Gumiho

But the best for now has to be Pinocchio's OST. A-plus. Maybe one day soon I'll check out the famous K-pop genre. At present I only listen to Korean music I hear on OSTs.

hmmmm....ur always complaining abt NEPA...seems ur PC is what we call "up nepa" lol

Well am at home atm..not feeling great so decided to Stay at home...funny thing is am not the type that sleep much so am just lying down on a chair playing with my phone...I am just in the mood to watch kdramas or TV series..the was light all morning all I did was lie down

I heard abt musixmatch but I don't know if there's a window 8.1 version cos am using a windows phone...am sure the Yoruba will be very funny cos writing it ain't easy

Hows ur day going,I hope ur having fun....
Lmao @ "up NEPA" laptop. Nope. I use a Sony VAIO that's got up to 6-8 hrs battery power when not connected to electricity. My life sort of revolves around technology so I basically have most gadgets (iPod, iPad, Blackberry and Samsung grin yeah I'm gadget crazy lol) out there AND solid power generating supply but heyyy sometimes I go 'naija' and try to feel like the masses. Never asked u how far 4 dat ur lappy...lol hope it's still in one piece...jokes ok I do like 2 tease u...

I also own a Nokia Windows phone, it's got a selective OS so I'm not sure if musixmatch can be got on it cos most Windows phones don't have google play (where u basically get the coolest freaking apps) which Windows phone is urs? Cos officially Nokia has been obliterated and now it's just known as Windows. Oooh u said u have a Windows 8 phone - that's cool but like I said Windows doesn't see eye to eye with Google so ur stuck with just Windows apps. Maybe I'm wrong tho'

Been downloading Rosy Lovers and Discovery of Romance---hope I'll enjoy them o

Good morning, hope ur night was great,I doubt u slept at all

Well I have dp on my profile so am not that old...its just that I got tired of all this crazy and loud music....i. Prefer the classic and cool rnb

Donny think I will resume my kdrama soon,I think I still need to get enough rest from it

Have a wonderful day aida
I slept all day so it wasn't so bad staying up. Besides with the eclectic power supply, I kinda have to be up when NEPA comes to its senses grin

I don't think there'll be a time I can just shut down my K-drama fixation except maybe a a few days or at most a week. So enjoy your break. One thing I know, I must at least hear some Korean one way or another to stay in a good mood for the day/week. That's why I have those soundtracks from all those dramas I've watched. Now I know some great K-pop singers like LYn, Hyorin, K.Will, 4Men, 2AM, 2 Young etc grin grin

Hey there's this new app I discovered called musiXmatch that lets you see the lyrics while you listen to any song in your library (on your Android). So I get to stream lyrics of my fave K-drama songs which is freaking awesome. I get to sing along whether it's the soundtrack from Pinocchio or Birth of a Beauty. These oyibo sef, there's nothing they won't imagine. Now listening to Wande Coal's Rotate and Tiwa Savage's Without my heart (the Yoruba and Don Jazzy's parts are hilarious!)

Have a great day and keep smiling/shining. Peace!

I totally agree with @Lantean that the owl spotted the trapped rat and was zoning in for some free midnight snack. Only to get trapped itself. So so sad for the owl because it's not going to be spared lol. Half of these superstitions we have, happen to have perfect explanations.
CelebritiesRe: Daddy Showkey Posted On Instagram That His Glue Rat Killer Caught An Owl by Aida13: 5:36am On Feb 09, 2015
omg Owls don't just show up anywhere---does he live in a rainforest? Wow. His house must be an uncompleted building...shiversss

lol this is really scary though, for the owl I mean. It has lost most of its feathers trying to escape all night. What a traumatic experience it might NEVER recover from.

EducationRe: Why Do Nigerian Lecturers Tells Studnts To Cram Their Course Befre They Can Pass by Aida13: 5:32am On Feb 09, 2015
wunmi590:
Some times I begin to wonder if Nigeria university lecturers really poses the quality they tend to boast with around the campus.

During my final year days, we had a lecturer who was telling us that though is course is very voluminous, and "we would have to do a lot of cramming before we can pass it".

Should this kind of statement be coming out from our lecturers?
Just give them what they ask for because the moment you start showing initiative, they won't even know what the hell you're talking about because they sef, crammed their way through their education. Cram me I cram you. Just study for your own personal upliftment, while giving them what they want on paper. They are just termite brain as my mom will say.... grin grin grin

Thanks, today was good in every way. Still on my It's OK That's Love, on episode 11 while also on episode 11 of My Girlfriend is a Gumiho. Just watching snippets from time to time. I'm beginning to like that Kong Hyo-Jin. She looked really bad in the beginning of Master's Sun - but I guess they were trying to show how stressed she was from the ghosts. She's definitely improved looks wise in It's Ok that's Love. She doesn't hold a candle to my Ha Ji-Won though.... grin

ugh I'm soooo jealous right now lol I wish I could learn in a week but it looks harder than I thought---in the meantime, thanks for the little 'quiz' it made me able to figure out some letters like "h" and "i" etc. But first you have to confirm if I got it right or not.... grin

히 아이다13...can u read it?aida13
ayyyy you're wicked ooo

I'm still trying to memorize the different vowels, consonants and what they look like. I've dedicated approximately 1 hour of lesson time so far so trust me, I'm faaaar from being able to read what's up there. Come on grin grin

But if I was to cheat, and check out the alphabets I've so far read about...I'll say you just said "hi aida13" .....correct me if I'm wrong ooo I'm here to learn

lol

I've also learned a bit about 'writing' Hangul. Some points so far:

_Hangul calligraphy strokes follow similar principles to Chinese calligraphy - you write the characters from left to right, top to bottom.

_Everyone's writing is a little different. So when actually writing Hangul, most people use 'shortcuts' meaning they simplify certain characters by 'reducing' the amount of strokes (much like we do when we write English in 'cursive' and some letters join together. So basically you can 'shorten' complex letters and words in order to simplify them.

***phewwww*** this is NOT easy at all, now I know how my four year old nephew feels learning his ABCs lol

Wow sorry about d bad week u had. Thankfully u seem OK now and that's the most important. Stay hwaiting!!

U learned Hangul? That sounds interesting. Is it just speaking it or did u learn 2 read/write it like I plan to do? Because if u can write it, then we can both get the Hangul keyboard and just type our replies in Korean characters grin I mean d alphabet and not the Anglicized version of writing the language. If u wanna enjoy valid love make sure u understand each person situation and also u gonna love rosy lovers...am at eps 31 atm and i can tell u its really awesome

Mixing kdrama and American tv series altogether is not making it boring for me

Ever heard of BANSHEE that tv series is one of the best of alltime ..it contains action,romance,suspense...its like all-in-1 pack...really amazing
I've heard of Banshee but since I missed season 1 it feels strange to just be starting now.

D only long dramas I've attempted are Empress Ki and King's Daughter Su Baek Hyan, but if Rosy Lovers is that good then maybe, just maybe...hmm lol

Tnx 4 d info. Feeln tired, will be off soon, takia
Thank you very much for your concern but you don't need to be regular all the time....you can be posting just 3 or 4 times per week and if yoiu can do more ...then fine.....but let me know the section you would like to handle.....wether its hangul, recap, news and so on and so forth.....so just let me know
Wow 3-4 times a week is much ooo lol

But if at all, I like doing recaps. These will always be relevant eg Empress Ki recaps r still useful to those just getting to know about this 2013-2014 drama.

And news is cool too but that means I have to be well informed at all times which is tough esp since I'm just 1 year old in this K-drama thing grin

For all ur efforts putting up such a great site, I'll be happy to do my bit. Keep me informed.
CelebritiesRe: 2face & Annie Idibia Step Out Hand-in Hand(photos) by Aida13: 7:16pm On Feb 06, 2015
That Mrs. Tuface has bad dress sense. With all that money you should afford a fashion adviser/wardrobe assistant. A makeup artist too, to be on hand to do you up for any high-profile event. I mean seriously these things are not rocket science and with everyone doing makeup and fashion designer classes, u can get anyone for a cheap rate. Me sef I no be celeb but I get fashion adviser and my go-to makeup girl.

seems I would stick to aida though it kinda sound weird to me and also am tired of calling u ahjumma that's why I asked for a name but no prob with that

There are lots of crazy peeps out there so I try to do my best not to read scary news...i saw something like that on NL but I kinda Ignore the story

Am still watching rosy lovers after that am gonna watch spy...valid love is finally over..that drama is too deep and crazy but great I loved it though

What have u bin doing allday....i hope ur marathon is on the downlow
No marathoning for now. The dramas I'm watching are those slow-burn dramas that you can afford to simply watch at leisure. There were some dramas though, that once u start you can't rest till you finish 16 episodes within a 24 hour basis---lmao.

I'm kinda avoiding coming across those kind of dramas for now.

Lol, it's funny u asked for a name when that's what usernames are for - to be ur identity on a website. So I was surprised u asked for my name? Cos last time I checked, fijiano and kallmemrB can't possibly be for real yet...Aida is actually a real name lol. You sef. No make I vex for u.

Peace! I'm looking forward to pick up Valid Love again but I hate all those dramas involving cheating spouses etc. Oh well. As for Rosy Lovers it's just too long but if it's that good I'll start downloading it to watch some day soon.

my day is really great, everything is really going well..i thank the Almigthy God for that cos i cant do anything without him

pls can u just tell me ur name?aida ahjumma aint working for me..have a fun day
Yes ooo we gats to thank God cos without him this world is one sick crazy place lmaoo just read an ex boyfriend shot and killed his past girlfriend and her new husband at their wedding...shot them dead and other people there too (including bride's mother). Don't know how true it is, read it on Bossip which is a US African-American website...

Sooo anyway, like all things on the internet and online forums, I like to keep my privacy. You seem stuck on calling me ahjumma for some reason grin grin grin at first it was cute but now ummm...no. You need to just stop grin grin

Jokes. Ok seriously, it's really cool to just keep to usernames. I've got Facebook if I want to get personal, but on NL I'd just rather stay anonymous cos it's tough meeting like-minded individuals who understand friendship, respect and simple intelligence. Glad I met you all on this thread though---almost everyone has a great personality so it's all good!

how can we help
How's ur day progressing---no I haven't started Shine or Go Crazy---like I said I'm not really following any ongoing dramas for now. Ever since Pinocchio and esp. Birth of a Beauty, I've learned the hard way about following currently airing dramas. Will wait some more before I start on my must-watch eg Kill Me Heal Me, Hyde Jekyll, Me and Shine or Go Crazy.

In the meantime, I will definitely be downloading the updated episodes in advance.

---The Hangul lessons will continue once I progress further. I'm told one can learn in a month. Imagine if one takes it seriously for 3-6 months. Hmm soon I'll be able to subtitle all those raw episodes of the dramas that come out same day grin grin

Hello Drama lovers..... and also the reason doing this oa because I alone can not be updating .com and blackkorean..com
Wow this would be great! From experience though I know blogging isn't so easy. Once you have visitors you have to keep updating the material or they'll bite your head off grin grin So being a blog author takes dedication of time and effort. Unless it's just a few random posts, I can handle that but not on the regular. I'll see what I can do.

One thing I know, K-drama fans love lists. Best drama lists, best back hug, best couple, hottest actors etc lol

And also, recaps of ongoing drama are a popular feature. Like I said, I'll do what I can but can't really promise cos I've got a lot on my plate right now. Let's see how it goes!

***How many alphabets in the Hangul language? Lol u want me to start on my lessons this nite abi...OK ok, a few tips:

_ Hangul is a very "logical" alphabet

_To understand it you need focus on Vowels, Consonants and Syllables.

_And to answer your question, Hangul has 40 letters (19 Consonants and 21 Vowels) (while English has phonetically, 6 (a e i o u and y)vowels and 20 consonants. Tells you how important vowels are to Hangul since they need so many....more on that later!

_Lastly, Hangul is written in BLOCKS ie just like we speak in syllables, so do Koreans but they write these syllables in 'blocks' containing 2-4 letters.

***ONE RULE---Today's 'one rule' of Hangul is...The first letter in each block MUST be a consonant. Thus a simple block (syllable) will contain say, two letters: The "placeholder" consonant and a single vowel.

OK, I'm done. That's it for the week. Lol if you're interested in more then u can download the Android app, TenguGo Hangul.

Good night and take care!

I know Korean language is called Hangul but the pronunciation is abit diff...the way the people in the country side/villAges speak is diff to the way the city people pronounce their words...its like comparing the Lagos Yoruba to the villages own

Though my thought was that I would go to Korea for vacation for honeymoon with my future wife lol...i wanna snap with those badass costumes....i love the city and the environs

My day was great, watching the final eps of Valid Love...i got tired of Healer but my shine or go crazy is the best though...i love that drama alot

Oookay...not been spending much time on NL though I'm browsing and downloading. So trust me I do have fun.

I'm learning Hangul through some cool apps. It's mostly for fun and because I've been told it's pretty easy to grasp.

So far learning the alphabet ie consonants and vowels. Maybe I'll share lessons when I get a firmer understanding. Ok annyeong!!

Korean language is called "Hangul" and is simple compared to learning Chinese. I really need to know at least one Asian language and I choose Korean. From learning to write, to reading and finally, speaking - I'm looking forward to this!

Wow so true about the micro SD trap----internal storage is low but they entice you with the external sd feature. But you can't do jack with the card on an Android. My new Samsung A5 is banging but every time I try to transfer my apps to my card the app ends up crashing. Now I know why. I love downloading apps and ebooks but it's going to be tough when the apps are so large and the device storage is a bit average. Lesson learned.
