I konda pity in-ha moms atm shes going thru hell,her past mistakes is catvhing up to her and kicking her real bad....we still have just 1 more eps to go before the season finale...drama would be over on the 15th

dramas like sword and flower ,empress ko,dong yi etc zm not into them though when the moon embrace the sun was pretty amazing i love it alot...there some historical dramas that are no-no for me

Lol good morning! Mmm I'll be happy when Pinocchio ends. Wasn't so crazy about the lead actors---except that rich woman's son, he's cool I like his acting. Park Shin-hye can cry anyhow lol that's her best talent.

I love most traditional (saguek) dramas. Loved Joseon Gunman, Sword and Flower, Empress Ki, Arang, Kang Chi, Moon Embraces the Sun (so-so) and so many others. Still looking for more to discover.

Hahaa - different strokes, I get it. Just like I thought Jumong and Dong Yi are two overrated dramas. I too, avoided Empress Ki. But I soon discovered a stellar cast, marvellous script writing, gorgeous costumes and so much more. But of course if it's not your thing, by all means don't watch lol

I'm looking forward to catching up on Pinocchio - still 3 episodes behind----

Warrior baek dong soo is a great and funny drama...i really enjoyed when they were kids it got me really crank up...

My Secret Hotel is kinda promising and i wish u could watch Valid Love..the beginning maybe draggy but its kinda great

My Secret Hotel - the cast looks good, been hoping to watch that drama since it first came out. But as always, I watch out for reviews and if the are so-so, I don't really jump into it. There are so many dramas out there that are more deserving of precious time if you ask me lol. Since you recommend it, I will definitely check out at least one episode to make up my mind. It took me four months to finally finish episode one of My Love from the Star. After episode 2-3 I got hooked. So maybe I shouldn't write off any drama just yet. Even Empress Ki---I avoided it for a few weeks but then suddenly, I picked it up and wham! Now it's one of my top three dramas of all time

Valid Love---since it's an ongoing drama, I'm worried about starting it....looks like it will be a couple more weeks to the end...will wait. Thanks as always for the helpful suggestions.

Anything involving North Korea is going to be a laugh South koreans always portray them in a certain light. I will definitely watch lol

and whats up with the compulsory military service...its kinda a must for all men but some get exemption and the excuse for exemption must be highly important....i cant imagine nigeria forcing me into military service...although Nysc is a complete waste of time its just fine for meeting new friends....i was lucky during my service year in Yobe... boko haram was not this severe...

I'm not sure why and how the Military Service thing started - but when I began watching K-dramas I was always hearing about this or that actor coming from or going for their service, and being unable to act. Fans would always cry and complain till their fave actor came back after 1-2 years.

Lee Seung Gi is a great guy/actor. But I always end up preferring his second lead to him In Gu Family Book, I liked Choi Jin Hyuk more than the main actor (Kang Chi) and in King 2Hearts, I preferred that his bodyguard guy lol (Cho Jung Seok)

I'm not saying he's not a good actor, just not feeling him at all. As for Seung-ho, I liked his character in Warrior Baek Dong soo. His fight scenes were killer.

Honestly i dont even know which drama to support at the moment....although that Hyde,jekyll and Me Trailer looks interesting but am not choosing any one for now...i like the female lead actress in H,J and me.. she has this kinda quiet and innocent beauty which i like...

It's Ok That's Love ---- is already on my must-watch list, downloaded it weeks ago. Jo In-sung is one actor I admire, after Frozen Flower. I heard great things about It's Ok drama as well as Winter the wind blows. So I have them on stand-by. Maybe when I have a long break, I'll just marathon both dramas

I always confuse his name with Yoo Seung-ho from Arang and the Magistrate (he was the King of Heaven, in white). He's back from Military Service - that thing all the men do that's like NYSC lol. So many actors are coming back, another one is Hyun Bin (Hyde Jekyll,Me) who hasn't acted any drama since Secret Garden. So yeah, I'm really happy for 2015

I'm yet to watch Misaeng but it was indeed one of the topmost dramas of 2014. I know it's early days but I can see many of these January dramas making their impact. I'm really, really rooting for Hyde, Jekyll & Me. Which drama are you supporting? Before mine was BoaB, but it's over now so HJ & M is my new bias drama (fave drama).

Not really his fan though, but let's see if Kill Me Heal Me will change my mind. I'm looking forward to Spy too. Wonder if there'll be any mega hit dramas to make waves the way Love from the Star did last year. Pinocchio seems to have made its mark...

I'm working---and you're right about these multiple personality trends - Kill Me Heal Me has the lead with 7 different characters. I hear the first 2 episodes were awesome. I don't really like the lead guy (I watched him in Great Seer - he doesn't look like a main actor at all ) And I wasn't going to watch this---but with all the reviews saying it's good, well I'm up for anything at least once. Let's see how it goes.

2015 dramas look really promising...

HTH was really a fun character in BoaB. He's one of those who made me keep watching, followed by those evil in-laws I mean Sara' ex-husband's mom, sisters and their cool dad

Will watch it sometime during the week. I'm glad that in the end, even you started to like it. Best for them to end it while the ovation is loudest---so hopefully no extended episodes. Or maybe a "Special"??

I'm looking forward to starting Hyun Bin's new drama, Hyde, Jekyll and Me - another split personality drama similar to Kill Me, Heal Me. His co-star will be the female lead from Rooftop Prince, Han Ji-Min. So I have high hopes for this one.

Hmm---I enjoyed Hyun Bin's character in Secret Garden. That drama still gives me goosebumps. So touching, made me have even more respect for Ha Ji-won. I'll watch anything she does in future.

Av u watch iljimae,the drama is interesting and annoying immediately I finished season 2 ,I was in a hurry to watch 3(was curious aboutwhat happened to bong soon,what happened to iljimae when the king cut him with his sword,what happened to jadol,eun chea etc).stupid suspense,to my greatest surprise it was another story of iljimae...I prefer the 1 and 2,to the3 and 4

I only watched some of episode 1----haven't seen the whole drama. I prefer Iljimae with Lee Jun-ki, hoping to watch it soon. Not really a fan of continuing a drama I don't like. But I will go back and finish Return of Iljimae because I saw some great reviews about the drama.

Day was ok thanks, and you? It's really silly, but I'm feeling the atmosphere of the story (as in the rich kids environment and so-called hierarchy of humans in South Korea. So sad and dumb lol. Chaebols vs New money vs worker class


By the way Iljimae is distinct from Return of Iljimae. Two dramas treated by different networks, using very separate storylines based on a popular folklore hero. So the two dramas are not related at all.

Confusing as how?..kim tan's mother is that woman dat stays at home but no one knows because she was just a mistress to kimtan's father and they were not married..if people know dat he is an illegitimate son,dey might disregard him or something sha dats y they asked the second wife(the school chairman) to act as his mom..won is the first wife's son(she's dead)

Is this ur first time watching lee min ho's drama?

Lee Min-ho --- yep my first time really watching his drama. I only watched an episode or two of FAITH and lost interest.

Then watched a bit of Boys Over Flowers but dropped it. HEIRS is more bearable to watch so I'm sticking with it lol

Now in episode 06 and I liked the way they explained the who's who of the high school. So yeah, I'm beginning to figure out everyone's family tree

I like Woo Bin...also Lee Min-ho seems so full of sensitivity lmao so I'm "shipping" him and Park Shin-hye for now

Thanks too for explaining about Kim Tan. I love his mom lol she's so whacky. Hoping I get to finish this drama, then off to City Hunter.

Not really having as much time for dramas lately --- watching Heirs in my free time. So confusing with all the characters - who's marrying whom, who dated whom, whose child is whom....it's fun watching Lee Min Ho for once, I'm beginning to see the hype though not a fan. Park Shin Hye can act though, but I'm also not a fan Well, will watch it for the curiosity.

Same goes for Healer, @fijiano202 and @Atk01 --- will be watching it soon, just to find out why it's so good/bad. Not setting my hopes too high - but if such a high percentage of hard-to-please k-drama fans are rooting for this drama, it's worth sticking with.

I doubt the Joseon Gunman people were the ones in that picture. Joseon Gunman is a KBS production. That is the SBS awards. And you're right, the romance between the couple is one of the deciding factors before I watch a drama.

oops - my bad about Joseon Gunman - got confused because Jun-ki's co-star wore a similar dress as the one in the center---- well I guess the center couple will either be the two leads from Pinocchio or from It’s Ok, that’s Love cos those were the other two award winners...


Upcoming couple alert lmao...Park Min Young and Ji Chang Wook from Healer---it's getting hot in there lol or so I hear cos I'm yet to get through episode one. But the netizens are going crazy over this drama so it's on my watch-list.

Looking forward to more hot couples because let me be honest that's the 80 % reason I watch this k-drama stuff....
