But why is this thread name PTI while it's for PSIN - Public Service Institute of Nigeria. Meanwhile, just got a test invitation holding on 29/12/2014. But the problem is that it's in Abuja o. Surely I'm not alone? |
HOPE8888: fryo4life:please I understand this thread is more one year already, I wish to make some findings from anyone who probably took the offer. I was just invited and so need your experience so far. |
It may be quite wrong for one to equate the large number of people that turn out during rallies as true supporters. When Party A calls, the stadium will be filled to capacity; and same for B, C, D, ...Of course, politicians as are not as high as that. Same crowd patronise just for the usual sharing. The success of political campaigning, largely, depends on the ability to ability to convince greater audience. And in the Nigeria context, the act if conviction is synonymous to confusing as many people as possible. This act of "who can confuse better" is what I wish we re-remind them of the need to do more by: 1. After hiring people to write on National Dailies and social media plat forms, there's also the need to pay as many as possible to follow the post and join forces in the comment box. A lot of persons, like me, are always interested in the comments, and may be tempted to base their judgment on the number of comments for or against. 2. Also some persons should be paid to stand on the various Newspaper argument stands. The very many who have taken arguing at Newspaper stands as a hobby or great source of fun, may also be convinced by who wins, ie who confuses better. 3. After paying some religious leaders to modify their preaching, much more of the congregation need be paid to accept what the Pastor/Imam has said. 4. Et cetera. You can list more for them! |
blesseenE:I also join in thanking them for at least telling me score this time around. Surely we will clinch the oil money in due time! |
podosci:Yea, they extract email address from website. The first request is usually that you mail them back. Having sent to many, it's only when one replies that they can check the history of the conversation so as to attach the proper pictures and flowers |
The repeated story about a particular Refugee Camp in Darker Senegal has left me with the thinking that some persons may have actually fallen victim to this professional, sorry non-professional, fraudsters. Contrary to my feeling that they should have at least changed this line of story, especially as I never gave it even a 1% believe, the same story has remained unedited for several years. Indeed it may have proved a very lucrative story for them. This has formed my desire to discuss the ugly and regular experience. Below is the format of this regular mail: “I am Miss ABC XYZ from Sudan/Liberia/Zambia/etc but presently residing in a Refugee Camp here in Darker, Senegal as a result of a war that broke out in my country. The camp is headed by Rev Fr this/Pastor that, whom I’m using his computer to send you this mail. My father, Dr this and that was murdered alongside my mother on a cold blood by the rebels. My Dad had so so million dollars in so so bank, which I’m the next of kin. The bank has requested that I get a foreign partner before I can claim the money. …” Every of such mails usually come with beautiful pictures and flowers attached, especially if you have replied for the first time. Although my research has shown that some persons began to get this story since around 2005, my first encounter with them was in July 2011; and ever since then, it has become a recurring decimal. Out of curiosity then, I played along very well until I was able to find all that is findable. After that first encounter, I have got to be dismissing the mail early enough. But in many occasions, I ended the conversion by leaving a strong advice for them to desist from anything 419, yet they have not stopped sending it to me. This has made me to conclude that there are several persons/groups involved, independently. Otherwise they should have noted my email address and stopped wasting their time. Before now, the story usually poured in any time you sign up with any new online account, but recently they began to initiate the story via facebook, after which they will direct you to their email. Such facebook accounts are usually deactivated few days later, if you did not reply. Even as I am largely certain that many people do understand the untrue nature of the story right from onset, I still have some worries that their inability to change the story is a proof that some are falling prey to them. I remember during my service year in 2013 when a friend begged to use my phone to send pictures to someone. He never wanted to let me understand what he was into, but luckily to him I was quick to understand what was going on immediately I sighted his email composition, because I needed to help him do the attachment. Then I sat him down and began to tell him what he was into. That was how I saved him. The very first thing to note is that the story is not at all close to reality; and that there is not even any refugee camp of that sort in Darker, Senegal. I have kept on wondering why they preferred Darker. Is there any spiritual attachment to the name Darker or is it the only place Nigerians won’t suspect? There must be a reason for the choice of Darker, which I wish someone could help me find out. So my dear friends that may still encounter this unchanging story, please be aware that such is never true. Perhaps the sender may not be far away from your street here in Nigeria. Do not be tempted to believe them even if the story is modified. If you should play along with them, pray hard not to be influenced by any of their diabolic means and you begin to believe the cock and bull story, and start revealing your personal information such as bank details or any form of password. You can equally remind them of the great reward of eternal damnation for the 419ners. |
“Women should be strategically advertised for better marketing; they should visit home during festive periods, like Christmas, when several men who are ready to settle down also devote time in their search." The above is a common advice from my Chaplain back in the Lion’s Den, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Thaddeo Onoyima. To what extent is he right with such assertion is not the topic of my discussion here, but to re-echo same to our dearest city girls who has nothing to do with village all these while. They that have root in the village should learn to appreciate and be proud of that wonderful village. So continue with your preparations to celebrate Christmas in the village. Perhaps something good can come from there. But let me warn you never to misinterpret Msgr. Onoyima. His advice is never close to: “visit home to display your expertise in waywardness and prostitution.” It is undisputable that a lot of men, because of tight schedules at work and businesses, devote the Christmas contact in searching for REAL women. Yes, know it also that waywardness cannot be among the qualities of the term REAL. Do not forget that some men who also travel home for Christmas are only interested on the opposite. This class of men are never near to being interested in marriage, but to increase the number of girls they have messed up. So as you travel to celebrate the nativity of the great King, remember to be as wise as a serpent but as humble as a dove. Acquire and display the qualities of a real woman, and a REAL MAN shall be highly interested. Ok now I ask you to be kind in telling us what women should avoid and what they should embrace this Christmas season. More advise from real men/women, and aspiring real men/women! Thank you. When ever I see this heated argument about GEJ and GMB on Nairaland or Facebook, it reminds me of the relentless and meaningless arguments at Newspaper stands. |
Following your application for Graduate Trainee program at Oando and satisfactory performance in the aptitude test, you are hereby invited for an interview on Monday 15th December, 2014. Sorry, that was the outcome of my dreams. |
Sent the text yesterday, but no effect yet. This is just for today afternoon/evening.

Truly I confirm the repetition, like the passage on e-books, but still can't feel the supposed impact on my performance! Anyway, at least no longer desperately confused with the Abstract. Pray same for the rest, even if not now! Meanwhile, the option for miracle still very high, otherwise ... |
Will be among those that will call for Thanksgiving if this works, even if for some days! Unsolicited texts have devalued SMS; even some supposed SMS from friends, say an invitation, also usually receive same burial - deletion on arrival! |
OnyeIbo:Yes there's a way; go and be born again! |
KaceeDcontrol:Had a worst experience even. Just after I have attended to the first page, (questions 1-5), the server went off; that took about 15 minutes before it was restored. Then I continued and observed the time was still counting - about 17 minutes already. The worst now happened when I was at the 27th question, one guy just went and changed light source to NAPA; immediately the system began to restart. Only God knows how I was able to control my anger. After that, the whole thing started afresh. Anyway, the important thing is that we have responded to the questioner. |
Yet to receive the personality assessment link o! Don't know how many mails they wish to get from me before they could send it o! Shall keep sending until ... |
agb55:We are entirely together then. As for me, I'm certain I didn't get it. There mail doesn't enter my spam folder, although I've checked every where. Again, asking for the link from other persons won't work because it's usually personal, and expires after attending to it. May be we will mail them again on Monday. Bless you. |
jayrager:May be we mail them again on Monday. It will certainly be for everybody. |
thosyno63:Your question was not understood. When you login to e-recruiter.ng, you can view all the applications who've made through them. |

Yes you can but will be very tough for you. As much as you can get at least 4.00 for the final year alone. But be informed that final year is tougher than the others. They call it "Degree Exam" - some you may end up praying for an E, sorry D, heard NUC have abolished E. All the same, many have got 5.00 on the final year alone! |

The emergence of Buhari as the APC flag bearer will simply make the election seem as if unopposed to GEJ. But if someone like Kwankwaso or even Rochas, then the competition will at least be tough! Be that as it may, GEJ till 2019 has been predetermined by the Supreme Being! APC should however keep to trying to at least compete favourably by 2019, when ... |
