PoliticsThe Expected Failure Extended By 42 Days - Go Get Your PVC by aiikay(op):
There's no doubt that the postponement of the Nigeria's general elections by INEC from February 14 and 28 to March 28 and April 11, 2015 has left Nigerians with several feelings. Prominent among them is the realisation that our planed Valentine's day gift to President GEJ has been truncated, resulting to a 42 day extension. Be that as it may, Nigerians have been urged to remain calm as it must surely come to pass, and Nigeria must progress better!

Meanwhile, if you are yet to get hold of your PVC, kindly visit govote.ng/pick to track the exact location of your card. Simply key in the PU No on your temporary card and you are there. Remember that's the only tool that qualifies you to play a part in ensuring the GEJ2015!

Please if for any reason you don't like your company - may be because of limited experience to gain or the absence of any other incentive apart from the SUREP stipend, can you opt for a change? What's the condition for such?

Dear friends who were not invited like me, I want you to take heart. The system in Nigeria is such that we shouldn't be too surprised. The whole process right from the 1st test has been nothing to write home about. God will speak for us when it's His wish to do so. We specifically thank God that there was no casualty during these series of traveling, and there will be none!
We just have to move ahead. After all, everybody can't get the job!
May the good Lord bless us all!
A resounding success to those who are still in! It's a reality that some will still be dropped. So commit every step to God Almighty!

Thank you all!

Thou shall not be the Buhari in the process o!
Just go with authentic statements of results. I expect there should be the real serious interview other than mere presentation of credentials. Success!

PoliticsRe: Rtd. Gen. Aliyu Gusau's Reply On Muhammadu Buhari's WASC by aiikay(m): 6:40pm On Jan 24, 2015
So many funny things happen in Naija!
Why has Buhari allowed this to linger unnecessarily? I have not heard any report that he lost his certificate or things like that. Should it be that he had no actually? What is big about providing certificate or even an authentic proof? I don't what to believe on the speculation that he has burnt them following the Bokoharam ideology! Even if so, he can cook any other story and provide an authentic proof that he had one.
Meanwhile, certificate is not even among the reasons he MUST complete his fourth time consecutive failures! There are other obvious reasons.

Lol... Like seriously... This guy is really a clown. You must really be bitter and that must be coming from frustration. Ironically, you are the only person that hold this animosity out of hundreds that have contacted me. For the records, and before you score some cheap points,I'll clarify. In truth, I have created another group on another thread for an entirely different job test from PSIN (BAT). The group was created prior to the first job test and had a few persons at the time. To everyone's surprise, the coy rescheduled the test (after the first had been written) and called for another one. This got everyone in the group apprehesive.Soon as the second test was called for, so many people (including this dude) wanted to join group which begged for the question of Why now? As I didn't want to be autocratic, I thought to check with other guys who were of the opinion that we could get the group vulnerable to mole presence (given the sensitivity of what was being discussed). It was on this ground that I told this guy, he won't be able to join at that moment. And so was the case for several others (who have now joined the group).Upon noticing this guy's bitterness, I still went ahead to apologize and not take it personal. Afterall I don't even know you, why would this be targeted at you. But apparently, it just wasn't enough for the magnitude of frustration he seem to be nursing. FYI,I'm sure you were little when I joined whatsapp.
who's ready to read this your long and UNIMPORTANT story!

Perhaps I'm not alone on this. Just got the text message below, not even via email:

"You are here by invited for a 2nd CBT @PSIN on 21/1/2015 for PTI recruitment. Time: 8am. Come with a valid means of ID."

Abuja again? Why must they keep making us to spend unnecessarily? I pray this proves worthy of such spending at the end!

PoliticsGoodluck Jonathan is not the Worst President so far! by aiikay(op):
The stand of the opposition today has been that the situation of things in Nigeria have got worst since the Jonathan era. It is, therefore, a case for concern since we have all been in Nigeria over the years, and we shall continue to be Nigerians.

But to speak the truth when needed and politics when also needed, I boldly stand to disagree with such misrepresentation. No! Things have not been worse; things have been much better! But yet, we shall keep demanding for a speedy transformation to a country we shall all be proud of.

The following few examples can be a guide to why I disagreed:

1. If we could have good roads in many parts of the country today, if we can no long spend days during travel on a supposed journey of few hours, especially during festive periods; then there's hope that one day, even my village reads would receive the needed attention.

2. If rail transportation could come back to life after many years of abandonment, after many of us, the new generation, only read about train on books and movies; then there's a hope for the transportation problems of Nigeria.

3. If 13 new Federal Universities could be built and fully operational within such a small period, then we should hope that one day, universities will be everywhere like secondary schools.

4. If PHCN can be successfully privatised; then one day power will be readily available like the mystery of the telecommunications.
Look again at the number of persons that have been employed by the various distribution companies purely on the basis of merit, instead of the regular highjacking of FG jobs.

5. If we can come back to the exploration of the huge potentials in the agricultural sector, after many years of swimming with crude oil; then there's hope for survival even if oil should dry tomorrow.

6. Look again at the hope posed by the fact that today there's a Nigerian made vehicle. I see it as a signal that we can one day have a Nigerian made airplane.

7. If we can truly be taking about voting, unlike the experience of 2003 and 2007 when there was no election in almost all parts of the country, but there were results; then there's hope for our democracy.

And many more signals of hope!

Collectively, we all demand for a greater and speedy development that would reflect our desired change. What we cannot accept is deception and confusion that we have been going back. Tell us that the movement has been slow and we would agree to some extent, and perhaps direct it to our leaders to react.

We are not interested on the numerous false accusations and counter accusations going on. Spiritual deliverance of all Nigerian politicians is part of our prayers, and we know it would be answered in due time. Let us ensure to sieve out the two many lies in the various campaigns.

I call on all Nigerians to seek to verify the various flying lies and make our decision for the forth coming elections. Let's us vote for whom we have personal conviction as regards a faster realisation of our dream country, in both the Presidential, Governorships, National Assemblies, and State Assemblies elections. Each is as important as the other. You can vote either PDP, APC, or others - not on the basis of propaganda, but because of what you know.

Very importantly, I wish to remind you of your experience if you have ever lead even, say 10 persons. Just compare your experience to the over 170 million Nigerians. Then you would be forced to limit your abuse on the office of the President.

Finally, do not forget to agree or disagree that things keep tending to better day by day. Even your insults shall be highly welcomed.

Thank you.
PoliticsRe: What If General Buhari Fails Again? by aiikay(op): 9:13pm On Jan 07, 2015
Tonylyte:
Cry as usual. Dont vote buhari. Buhari is a bomb threat.
That he is a bomb threat is just a propaganda. He has not been caught with a bomb or with a bomb carrier. It's just that Nigerians are aware that GEJ is trying!
PoliticsWhat If General Buhari Fails Again? by aiikay(op):
To the above question, some will say he is going to win, while some will say he can't win.

Many have been clamouring for change, and many never visualise any change in every sense of the word change, in what is presented.

There are presumably 14 presidential contestants, and no one has ever discussed any other apart from GMB and GEJ. The rest too are not doing any campaign because they may have had a different intention other than winning.

Anyway, my stand about GEJ is that things have not been worst as some do paint, but instead better. In fact very much better! Note that I never asserted that all have been got right!

Yes the issue of Bokoharam, which is entirely a new phenomenon and even a global trend, has been speaking volume more than all meaningful achievements by the present administration. Though a lot of promises were not kept, of course that's the characteristics of Nigeria politics, I still, to my own PERSONAL JUDGMENT, consider GEJ as the best so far, ever since I became old enough to follow the happenings in the Nigeria Govt.

My reasons are numerous. As old as I'm, I only used to read about rail transportation on books; I recall how people used to spend days on the road during travel due to unbearable bad roads; I have friends who have been empowered via SUREP or YOUWIN program; I know the long aged history of the so called Alamajiri's; there are personalities who I have special respect for appointed for important posts - eg. my ever respected former Vice Chancellor, Venerable Engr. Prof. Chinedu Ositadimma Nebo, and a lot more; I see a situations where opposition can exit at all, rather than what OBJ did for eight years, the trauma Chimaroke put us in Enugu for eight years; etc. My reasons are many and all are just my personal conviction - not because anybody preached to me!

Notwithstanding, I never dispute that a new person can do even more. Buhari might turn out good, at least to impress Nigerians, if he wins, but personally I will never wish that someone who was President before my birth could come back again! All other propaganda against him are issues I never supported. Of course nothing can be a threat to Christianity in a country like Nigeria.

Another great annoyance to me is that majority of those pioneering APC simply changed name not character - PDP to APC. If someone like even Sam Nda-Isaiah were to be in the race, then he would have my vote even if he doesn't win. In fact, any of the other three contestants of APC would have enjoyed much sympathy votes if neither Buhari nor Atiku ever showed interest!

Meanwhile, stick to whom you have decided to vote for, based on your personal conviction, not because of unnecessary propaganda or sentiment. Certainly, somebody like me may not vote same party for all the offices - not at all!

Don't forget to seriously pray for free, fair and peaceful election, no matter who wins. That alone would make whoever looses to accept the result! Even if GEJ looses and he ensured for free and fair elections, Nigerians will ever remember him for enshrining true democracy!

I'm calling for more of your prayers because certainly GMB will fail again, and the memory of the experience of 2011 is still fresh. Imagine now that Buhari has got more fans. Never allow yourself to be a sacrificial lamb. Never again say that voting is none of your business, perhaps you may be among those clamouring for change. So be a partaker of the change in your own understanding of the word change!

Go and get your PVC; don't just battle over PDP or APC without that special weapon to prove your stand.

Whom do think shall win (in a 100% free and fair election)?

Just recalled something I observed towards the end of my exam. Should you decide to skip a good number of questions, may be to come back later, for instance if the whole of Mathematics are together and you wish to jump. Instead of the repetitive clicking of next, you simply click on view summary. Then all the numbers will be listed, and you scroll to the number you wish to start and click. If say you clicked number 30, then when you click next you will see 31 and the rest. To go back to the ones you left, you follow same process!

Bless you all!
Udo diri unu!
Sala-maleku!
