How is this a physical abuse? Why write name for someone that is absent, is that not what is killing our country? It's time we started supporting what is right no matter who's involved.

http://www.fluxmediablog.com/2017/07/skipping-breakfast-could-reduce-your-memory-level.html

I am almost certain that you have heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day; this is very true! A healthy breakfast is a great way to start your day.
According to a review in the Italian Journal of Pediatrics ; those who eat breakfast have better overall nutrient Consumption along with Improved cognitive function and performances which includes better memory and attention than those who skip breakfast.
Now,let's indulge you in a little brain exercise very quickly before we continue, and you have to do it all in less than 60 seconds.
Try giving a Vivid and very detailed account of what you did yesterday with every detail involved: from what time you woke up,what you did next, time you bathed, ate breakfast ,what you wore, when you left the house, who you met, what you first did, etc. I mean every detail of what you did down till the time you laid on your bed to sleep at night. Can you recount such details in less than 60 seconds? Or even in 3 minutes? Please,if all you did yesterday was sleep, wake up and eat,you can't participant in this exercise, LOL.
I'm almost certain that as soon as I started saying this, your brain started spinning to recall the events of your yesterday, LOL. Now, did you notice your memory probably didn't respond as fast as you expected it to... Now that's your proof right there, that you should never skip breakfast again. And, if you do take breakfast, then you need to be consistent with it; don't eat breakfast to day and skip breakfast tomorrow. Take breakfast everyday, consistency is key.
Now, I really need you to pay attention to my next sentence... According to studies, one way breakfast increases nutrient intake in your body is by interrupting the depletion, that is; interrupting the consumption or emptying of nutrients in your body. You body is constantly using up nutrients by your central nervous system. This means that the brain and neurotransmitters (The chemical carrier of information throughout the nervous system) have all the elements they need to function at their proper level which may help in memory and cognitive functions. This applies to Pregnant women as they are most likely to experience "forgetfulness" after child birth... Can you now see how much damage you do to you body and Brain every time you skip breakfast? Stop taking God's grace for granted. God puts food on your table and you ask him to spoon feed you? The damage you do to your body and brain anytime you skip breakfast is unspeakable!
Choosing the right food to refuel your body when you wake up improves your memory and allows you to focus.
Have you ever had that tired feeling at mid-morning, say 10-11am when you feel drained out, restless or with a little headache? And your wondering what could be wrong with you? Hello, you skipped breakfast, that's what's wrong with you. Then you get in for a board meeting or so and you just can't wait for the meeting to come to an end so you can go grab a bite ,but the boss is still talking, so you begin to count down to lunch time and it suddenly looks as though the clock is ticking extra slow and you can no longer concentrate or give full attention to what's being said... Skipping breakfast makes it very difficult to concentrate.
Now, if you think that skipping breakfast Will help you prevent weight gain then you need to think again because you have believed in a lie. According to studies, Eating breakfast every morning within 2hours of wake does not only improves your concentration and ability to remember, it also helps you stay fit.
The calories you take at breakfast every morning helps to fuel your brain, which eliminates short term memory but, you want to watch the quantity you take; a very heavy breakfast could leave you drowsy and sluggish so watch the quantity. But if the meal is too light it won't give your brain the adequate calories to function so try to get a balance...not too heay and not too light, especially if your trying to improve retention and sharpened focus.

Here's What You Can Do To Help You Never Skip Breakfast Again:
Ø Work on your Time Management skills : this will help you prioritize and plan the night before and meal prep...
Ø If you've been a breakfast skipper for a very long time then you need to start light and patiently give your body system some time to adjust. So start with a glass of water for two days, then an apple or any fruit of choice for a few days, then move to smoothies for a week or two. Move to more solid breakfast once you feel the need.
Ø Get a menu/Meal plan that works for you: this takes away the problem of always thinking of what to eat for breakfast, it helps you know ahead what to meal prep for the night before and most importantly it saves you time and money in the kitchen.
Ø Learn easy quick breakfast recipes.
Ø Some times your dinner from the night before could serve as breakfast the next morning.
Ø Do take outs: after cooking breakfast and you think seating down to eat it will make you late for your day then you can just pack it as a take out and eat once you get to the office or so...
Ø Take action now! This article shouldn't just be another goose bum sermon for you. Take action by mapping out a workable plan to ensure you take breakfast everyday.

Education / Enhancing Your Writing Dialogue by aiinuel(m): 10:28am On Jul 16, 2017
Dialogue in composing is generally used to create and uncover characters and also bring out some kind of feeling structure the peruser. Dialogue is the correct words your characters say so anyone might hear or ponder internally. Through dialogue, you demonstrate instead of inform perusers regarding the characters in your story by passing on the characteristics and trait of that specific character successfully. As you continue, search for opportunities to utilize discoursed instead of depictions.

TELLING BY DESCRIPTION:
John caught sight of Harry and greeted him with enthusiasm in the hallway. Harry, feeling totally embarrassed, tried to avoid his friend but he had no choice.

SHOWING BY DIALOGUE
"Hey, chap! Good to see you!" yelled John, catching site of Harry in the hallway
"Yeah" Harry said weakly "Good to see you too"
"What luck running into you here and all"
"Yeah, luck . . . huh"

From the above example, you can see that Dialogue provides elaboration much more. You get to understand the traits of each character a lot better.
· Note that also, when drafting your story avoid always having your narrator explain explain what happens next. The dialogue could do a good job in revealing further plot events.

DESCRIPTION OF PLOT PLOT REVEALED BY DIALOGUE
Jane was very angry with her mother "Mom! How could you forget? I keep
for forgetting to take her to the cinema. reminding you everyday to take me
Besides, her mother promised her about two to the cinema. And you just keep
weeks ago. Now, she just wanted to cry letting me down! I could just cry"
· Do net let your dialogues be predictable. Otherwise, the whole thing could turn out to be a bit of a bore.
· "I'm glad you love me" Sam said, with passion in his voice.
"Me too" said Jane, " I love you, Sam"
o Rather make it look like it's the character's speaking:

"Gosh, I like that you love me" Sam said with passion in his voice.
"I like that you like that I love you" Janet said amusingly.
"Whoa! you just got me confused there, lady" Sam giggled and Jane joined up.

o Be realistic! Make the dialogue seem humanly possible.Go natural. Do not go about bringing archaic up and big words which you do not know their meaning. It will look ambitious and fake. Unless you want to end up sounding like Shakespare, avoid big words in dialogues: "The day has proven to be a callous one, hereof. That post was ostentatiously taken from me when that lackadaisical brat showed up. What a megalomaniac!"
o Don't forget, your ultimate goal is to make your reader feel something. So, no matter what you do, or how you do it, do not deviate from the plan.

Education / Titling In Creative Writing by aiinuel(m): 10:20am On Jul 16, 2017
www.fluxmediablog.com

A lot of times we have heard people say ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’. This is because the cover of the book is not enough for anyone to make a valid and informed judgment on the entire book. And because we seldom read book reviews in this part of the world, most people are compelled to buy books according to the title of the work which is usually at the cover page.

A cover page is made up of the Title, Author(s) and sometimes a background picture. Our concentration here is on the title because that is first thing readers look at in any creative writing. So as a writer of any piece of work, be aware that titling is very important.

It’s quite understandable that some aspiring writers do have problem in picking the right title for their work for example titles like Tobe goes to school, Chika the wicked girl, missing Chibok girls etc. are bad titles and mostly used by amateurs. To get good patronage of your work you must have a very creative title. The necessary technique for arriving at a creative title is what I am going to be explaining shortly and this will help you better your writing skills.

So what then is a Title? A title is the heading of any piece of work that helps to express idea(s) of the work in few words. Title is also the casing of any literature in a smaller format of “a word”,“short sentences” or “phrases” which portrays the idea and adds beauty to the piece of work. Therefore a good title is necessary for any piece of work or in this case literature.

HOW TO CHOOSE A TITLE
The title is the most important factor in any writing. So, before writing a book or any literature, you must consider the title in some formats. These include:
· Titling by Name of a Character/Object
· Titling by Events
· Titling by Theme
· Titling by Location
· Titling by Figurative expressions

· TITLING BY NAME OF CHARACTER/OBJECT:
This is the first, oldest and most popular way of giving titles to a literature. This is the most sacred method of titling. In this method the title is created by using the name of the major character or significant object, some examples are most of the classical plays like: Oedipus Rex by Sophocles, King Lear by William Shakespeare. others Include Harry Potter by J k Rowling, Aisha by Julie Okoh, The Adams Family by Julie Umukoro etc. While for object they include the Medallion, Sword in a stone.
Titling by Name of the character/object helps to bring your readers to want to know more about this character or object being stated in your title and if you were writing based on history or biography this method is much recommended.

· TITLING BY EVENTS:
This is a popular way of titling any literary work. This title is created with the use of main events or occurrences that took place in the story. An example is Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller, from the title you could tell that the book is talking about a salesman. Another example is Mrs Manfred Dream by Professor L.H Bell-Gam; from the title you can tell that the book would be centered on Mrs Manfred dream, gods are not to Blame by Ola Rotimi also well explain this factor because all the action in the story talks about a prophecy and how all attempt to avoid it brought it more closer to reality.
With these references, you can understand that titling by event is a good way of creating titles but it must center on the events or happenings in the story, if you go beyond this you have left this titling method. This method is best recommend when writing on history and social issue
A benefit of this method is that it helps to give the readers a briefing of what to expect in the course of the story and enables quick understanding of the book, but the side effect of this method of titling is that it gives away relevant situations that could have aided more suspense to the literature.

· Titling by Theme/Subject Matter:
Theme is the major aspect of a literature work that helps to portray the writers thought about the subject matters, characters and situations in the play. This method of titling is common among the Soap operas and Telenovelas. This title is gotten from the subject matters like Love, Corruption, Revenge etc. an example of this method include Obsession by Taylor Cane.
When writing with this title, make sure you explore the theme as the major aspect surrounding the actions in the play thereby supporting whatever title you choose. Remember, your readers must never get lost in your story with confusion of how your title relates to your story. This method is best preferred in writing Romance, thriller and sci-fi (if you are very creative).

· TILING BY LOCATION:
According Dr I.E Uwah, “a writer writes within his world view”, this means that the location is a determined by the writers point of view which involves critical analysis of the location in structuring of the play or novel you want to write.
Using a location as a title brings spontaneity to your play and motivates your readers to want to know why that location is so spectacular. When choosing a location Title, make sure it is not too fictional as readers tend to look at it as childish if it’s not close to reality. Some titles by location include Smallvile by DC, Women of Owu by Femi Osofisan etc. This play expresses more of location and how it influences action and title of the story.

As a writer learning how to express your story through the aim of location make your writing unique but beware, it is so easy to wrong title a story in this method as location may not be a priority in the story, thus when writing a story except you a writing on events that took place in that location don’t use this method. This is highly recommended for writing history.

· TITLING BY FIGURATIVE EXPRESSION:
This is yet another method of selecting a title for your work and my favorite of them all. It makes use of figurative expressions to beautify the body of the work thereby putting suspense to anybody who sees it. This is the most colorful form of titling a book. E.g who can fight the Gods? By Julie Okoh, the lion and the jewel by Wole Soyinka, gods are not to Blame by Ola Rotimi, An enemy of the people by Henrik Ibsen, etc. all these writers explored figurative expression to portray their ideas and made sure it accompanied the story.

In An Enemy of the people by Henrik Ibsen, you would see that the irony used in choosing the title, played a major role in the story. Although he tried to help the people in his community, he was seen as the enemy of the people because of ignorance. If you hadn’t read the book, you would have thought that it was talking about a Evil tyrant.

Making use of figurative titles should be in the minds of writers especially when writing something epic. So it’s important you get familiar with figures of speech because these are the good tool in creating a good title. This method is recommended in writing epic, historical, biography and horror.

RULES OF TITLING
No matter how polite we want to say this, all aspect of writing has rules or laws it should follow and these rules equally applies to poetry. Although freedom of writing is allowed (poetic license), you can’t just write anything and expect public acceptability, like speaking TALANGO to an IGBO man, you don’t expect him to magically understand you.
Here are some rules to be mindful of while choosing a title:
1. Your title must agree with your story.
2. Try to avoid titles that can give away details of your work.
3. Don’t make use of childish like titles like Bello the thief, Bisola is a girl etc. except when writing for children only and not comedies.
4. When titling with location make sure it’s not too far from reality.
With these rules you are guaranteed a bright future in your writing experience.
