enter yaba come down at Anthony climb the bridge to the other side where UBA is, walk under the bridge locate GTBANK Anthony village you will see bike men that will take you to saji ayangade, it's just 50 naira, it's actually a trekking distance it's not so far from GTB but as a first timer there take a bike.

This is soo sad @Aim07. may the lord console your family at this trying time.
I've never likeed the idea of traditional medicine, my reason being that what scan will easily detect within a few minute, Iya alagbo might not see it in a year. Although it works well for some people. May God save us.

When I first got pregnant my mom and mil almost killed me with their traditional beliefs. As if its the only way that works. After so many arguments I decided to do their wish, hubby took me to one ijaw woman's place.
first things was her place was very dirty and then I laid on the mat and she started massaging my tommy as if she was looking for something. I was so scared that I told hubby that the woman has broken my baby's head. Then she gave me powder to swallow with water, only God knows what it was that day.........
After we got home I started feeling serious abdominal pain which was the result of d massage. I told Dh that I'm never going back to that place and since then we've been lying to our moms that I'm still going.

Mamas pls let's be very conscious of our baby's movement, especially in 3rd trimester. CS is not a bad thing at all.

Am happy for u that u did not learn ur lessons in d hard way.

Aim07 and florena dats how a friend lost her baby last month. She was in labour, went to the hospital was asked to go home and come back later only for "dem say people " to refer her to one trado birth centre where the woman assured her that the baby will rush out after taking one concoction like dat. The baby did rush out but the placenta refused to rush out, she was eventually taken bk to the hospital and the baby died from distress.

Can u imagine, sure d baby would have been saved if she returned back to d hospital. Thanks for buttressing my points, I am going to tell her all dis so dat she can open her brain next time. I forgot to add that she EDD is next month o

Mamas, longest time o, I av on ghost mode for long because am depressed as I just dey home. I am seriously searching for work ever since my company retrenched me from work. I don't mind if dia is any mama here dat help me out. Aside other office jobs, I can teach very well, I av MSc in Analytical Chemistry.


There is another reason y am not happy, Sis in law gave birth yesterday but it was still birth. Before d incidence, she complained she had been having back ache and all her body is swollen too. Later, she was told to be placed on bed rest due to high Bp in Igando Gen Hosp. so dat she can be monitored.

According to her, she left d hospital when dia was no improvement and resulted one alagbo place. She claimed she felt better after she had taken concoctions. I personally called her and told her to ensure she delivers her baby in d gen hospital for d fact dat it's her first child. I asked if she had gone backed to d hospital for check up, she said yes.

She is also using private hospital around her place, so I think wen she was complaining again, she went d private Hosp and they told dia dat d baby is dead inside her womb already and a CS would done. They went to d alagbo place and she delivered d still birth dia.

The reason y am posting did is dat I want us to learn from it. Although I am not an advocate of agbo, but it works right. Don't rely on traditional medicine alone and believe it will do miracle. Always seek medical advice and follow dia instructions.

My is dat d baby might have in distress ever since her bp rose wen she was asked to be on bed rest. Had it been she stayed dia, I guess all efforts would put in place to ensure mother and child alive. Hubby was her sisters and his mum yesterday dat they all caused it due to dia ignorance. He advised them same way I told my SiL but didn't listen o. she claimed to stay home with her sister to be on bed rest. What annoys me most is y she refused to go to gen hosp again.

Anyway let me stop my ranting here, planning to go and see her tomorrow.

OK, dat is what I heard too. The only thing have not been able to clarify is dat I heard dia is no salary but commission based on what u sell. Do u know if this is true?

Good day fellow nairalanders, I am getting depressed day by day. After my B.tech program in Applied Chemistry (2009), there was good paying job coming up so I took teaching job. I was collecting 14k den. After a while I decided to start my MSc and relocated to Lagos in 2012. I graduated with distinction in 2014. I returned to association of job seekers again, in between got engaged and now I have two kids. I took up another teaching Job again in 2015 and was being paid 25k. Along the line I got another offer in a company selling chemicals with a pay of 50k.

Though d was nothing comparing d distance from Ikorodu to Berger but I took d job with d intention dat may if I step out of Ikorodu I might get better offer. In 2016, due to economic issue d company decided to retrench some of their workers and I was among those dat were retrenched. All along working I was still searching for job cos I know I have not gotten my dream job. I started submitting CVs around school again.

I did few interviews with some of them but they are not ready to pay something reasonable.

I wish I can start my PhD but where is d money? I have been applying for scholarships abroad but not a positive result. The most painful and bittered part of my story is dat my hubby too is jobless. This is eating me up gradually.

I can teach very well and even want start PGD in education once I am able to start a job so dat I can be a better candidate.

I need ur help if u can link me up with a job. I need take care of myself and my kids. Praying to provide job for my hubby and I .... help a soul if u can

I saw notification that u sent to me but didn't see it in my mail. I am invited for Tuesday's interview too, from comments, I learnt that d interview is going to be in 2 stages. 1st is grp interview followed by one on one interview if one passes d grp one. however, I do not have any info more than this, do let me know if you get any tips concerning d interview. u can pm me again

The interview is going to be in two stages.

The first is a group interview which everybody in the group must participate, your performance in the group interview will determine if you will be picked for the next stage which is 'one on one' interview with a panel.
