Donald95:This is my most feared thing about the University(as an aspirant of UNN). I have read several times that they force people to be like them. I still wonder how you replied to them that way and they let you be. |
The advent of Mawlid has led to controversy among the Muslims. The prophet Muhammed made strict clearance regarding Bid'a and the like of it. Obviously we all know the position of Bid'a in Islam. So, the question here is, is Mawlid Nabiyy bid'a? Those who practise Mawlid claimed that it was a good innovation(bid'atul hassana). This claim has being extinguished owing to the word "kulu bid'atun dalaala"(every innovation is a misguidance). They went as far as changing the word 'kul(all)' to 'juz(some)' in their claims. If the prophet had wanted, he would had stated that good bidia is allowed. By the way, what do we termed as 'bad bidia' if not things that are wrong. Already evil is prohibited so, call it good or bad bidia, the prophet did not specify. Therefore all innovations are wrong-including Mawlid. However, to claim that Mawlid is good is like claiming that the prophet knew what was good and failed to establish it in the religion(nauzubillah). I am anticipating your replies. Assalamualaikum. |
The satanic verse is said to be about two verses of the Quran-surah Najm-acknowledging three gods of Arab( Lat, Uzzah and Manat) . It was said that when the Arabian did not stop torturing the Muslims, Muhammad mentioned the three gods as intercessions with Allah. Muhammed was said to have amended his mistake by disclosing openly that Satan had tempted him and inserted the words into his mouth. The question now is; If Satan could insert some words into the prophet's mouth, how are we sure that most of the words in the Quran are from Allah? This has being a site of criticism for the atheists or non-muslims. I was sweft off balance myself when I got to know about this, that I almost began to doubt if the Islamic creed is a reality. Friends I would be pleased to get reasonable objections from you because I wish to satisfy and make steady my iman. Assalamualaikum. |
