@ainanimi, the easiest way to do it is to put ku band lnb on your dish, when u are on dstv position, pull the elevation down completely, turn your lnb to 9 o clock, put this TP 12.682 h 26.657, then turn ur dish to the left if u are standing at the back of the dish, when u hit green, try to rotate the lnb to get the maximum signal quality, after that remove the ku band lnb and replace it with c band lnb, then put sony package TP, watch the signal quality and rotate the lnb the get the maximum signal quality.

It took me 2 days to get Sony, my Aljazeera was 81% while Sony was 58%. I discovered that my 1.8m had some bent curves on the edges. I just strengthened it and Sony rose to 62% and became stable. You can use 4922, it is the best so far.

Bros, please am I going to face dstv direction if i want to track this sony package on intelsat IS 20. Please assist me

I was trying to nail this bird Inteldat IS 20 last night by following the procedure I hav read on this thread so far but still could not hit green. Pls for a novince like me. am I going to face the direction of DSthieves while doing my search or what. I am working with a 1.8 dish in Lagos.

u will just suffer in the sun with ur 1.8m cos it can't pick that bird but 5m dish we do it in Nigeria.

Irib is very easy to track, but sometimes, the weather and your location may denie you Irib even with 1.8m dish. There are certain times 3964 or 4054 will never pop green even when you are using 1.8m dish. So in that case, there are certain TPs we use to hit green b4 inputing Irib, jsc sports etc frequencies. Even recently, I had some difficulties getting Irib with my 1.8m which was already installed. Screen shot is not necessary, because I can even feed you with some pictures which may not be the true reflection of the reality. Actually, I did it for a friend and according to him, the Irib channels were stable throughout the afternoon, but in the night, he was experiencing some freezing;ON&OFF's. When I get free time, I'll revist his installation to see how best I can help. You can Search GH-ONE's post: I've given full tutorials on Irib tracking b4. When you use conical scalar ring, Arabsat20E should be much easier to nail.
