IT4ALL: Some C-Band channels are circular that is, they have polarization(R/L) eg is Irib3964R30000. those with this (R/L), insert the di-electric plate. Note,before you track, change the R to V or Change the L to H. Some C-Band channels are also linear, that is the have polarization(V/H) don't insert the di-electric plate

[b]The function of this plate is that, whenever a C-Band TP has R/L, like Irib 3964R30000, you have to open the throat of your LNB & slot in the di-electric plate b4 you can track that channel. If it is a C-Band TP but with H/V, like 3155V27499, you have to remove the plate from the LNB b4 you can track that channel. Bear in mind that, Irib channels frequency originally is 3964R30000. But to change the R to V, on your decoder just go to the polarization and make it V. Now let's track Irib 1. Put the di-electric plate in the LNB 2. Input freq:3964 sym rate:30000 pol:V 3. Raise the dish little above multi-tv position and hit ur green on your decoder.

Thank you for hearing my voice. I need some one who can take his time to explain in details on how to go about the finding of the JSC Sport channel with my 4.4m dish.

If I can get a detail explanation on how to go about it (e.g how to place my LNB and possible possition to stand while tracking the sisgnal) I will really appreciate.

Or possibly if there is any Installer base here in lagos that can assist in help me to get the remaining stations, i wil apreciate.

Twinsoris: This is to make it easy for our Ghana friends WHO has 90cm dish and 1.8M and also 2.4M dish .
For 90cm dish you can track BADR 6 with this TP 12303 H 27500 the tp comes with 5 channels.
For those with 1.8 should use the TP 12303 H 27500 and 12267H27500 for MBC HD etc...
For 2.4M should TP 12303 H 27500 and blindscan for huge package of JSC SPORT 1-10 and make sure you get maximum signal for other TP .
This are the guidelines .....
Make sure that you track multitv signal first on 90-98% and slightly lift the dish up about 2 cm -3cm then TP 12303 H 27500 will pop up.
For 90 cm 57% minimum.

For 1.8 cm 65% minimum.
For those with 2.4M 65%-70% and use 11727 h 27500, 11747v27500 and 11843h27500 or blindscan for more channels.

Pls am having a 4.4M Dish in Lagos but find it difficult to track JsSport 1-10. The maximum I get is 1-5. I really need your advice on what to do. I was hearing that it is only 4.8 or 4.9 that can be use to track it in Lagos. The amount to build a new 4.8 dish now is 120k.

Kindly advice me eeeeee oooooooo my Guru's in the house.

Please i would like to know if you are getting all JSC sport station here in Nigeria? If Yes please with what frequency are u using to track them.

Although, I have track mine with 4.4M dish with a Fuji LNB on Nilesat direction and I hit green with maximum percentage of 72% but could only get JSC Sport +1 - +5. I have try all possible frequency that i have for the +6 - +10 and also the HD channels.

I will appreciate if i can get a perfect solution/Answer to my problem from this forum cos I knw we have knowledge pple here in the House.

petfun4u: Good morning my fellow nairaland. I saw something that suprised me yesterday on 28.2E ( Joy TV). Go to that sat, input these two frequencies and scan, then see what i am talking about;
12304H27500 (5 new channels)
12266H27500 (All MBC HD channels but scrambled)
Also,rescan 12526H/V19531 for Discovery

On Amos, 11065V1244 for Bonferey TV and 10805H3000 for Afrca TV

This is for this morning.

The pictures I promised today, will be delayed till tomorrow, because I was somewhere doing installations till 9pm yesterday night. I got home almost 10pm. There is no way I can start climbing ladder. But promise to snap the pictures and post first thing tomorrow morning.

(a.) Arabsat-5C 20.0°E C- band as my primary LNB (b.) below it is Amos 5 17/16.0°E (c.) Above it as an arm extension is Eutelsat 28A/B - Astra 1N/2A/2F 28.2°E Ku-Joy TV (d.) Followed up is Eutelsat 36A/36B 36.0°E Ku-DSTV (e.) followed up is Türksat 2A/3A 42.0°E Ku and (f.)followed up is Intelsat 10 47.5°E Ku. I shall post the picture tomorrow. All the set up on my 1m dish.

I blind scan my w3 yesterday and received to new station 2M and one other station. I can really get the name right now. No image, no audio. But the station is scrambled. am using Strong 4669XIII.

I think ou may like to hear dis. I blind scan my w3 yesterday and I found lots more stations on that pole. I have like 15 stations including the france 24 both eng and french and some many other station that I believe we might enjoy.

Just give it a try and see what I am talking about. I will try and see whch of this station is going to show live matches when EPL for today kicks OFF. Currently am at work place I will post the name of all the stations I receive tomorow.
