U.K is not meant for the faint hearted.
When I was in the U.K that is when I know that we Africans are pampered by our loved once.

Here in Nigeria I eat at least 2 meals a day without working for a whole week or if business is bad. I get credit alert for doing nothing from my friends, toasters and family members.

I dont think so. You should check rentfaster. A 3 bed duplex will cost you nothing less than 2k. Rent ranges from 2100-2400. Put bills at 500 cos of winter.

Old condo 2bed 2bath 1800, New condos 2-3bed 2000-2100 plus 100-120 bills.

If your price point is fixed at 2k including bills, start looking for basements o. 2 bed basements sef is around 1200-1400 depending on area plus around 200-300 for utilities.

Are you looking for a house or a condo?

Also since you are new and without credit score, you should be ready to pay 3-6months rent upfront.

You can opt for a 2 bed legal basement as well which will be less expensive.

I think this misses the point of the original message.

Celebrating Canadian citizenship isn't about claiming that a passport magically solve all person financial problems. No reasonable person believes debt, unemployment, or stress disappear the day they receive citizenship.

citizenship comes with different things like security, stability. For many immigrants, those things are significant achievements because they provide opportunities and protections that weren't always available before.
