Adelabu has been trying to see Tinubu to discuss his Oyo guber ambitions but has not been able to till last week
When he finally met with Tinubu last week the president noted that Bayo has certain baggage from his tenure as Power minister which will be a baggage for the party in the election.
He explained to Bayo that even if he and educated people understand the complexity of the ministry but the general public will not understand that and the party will have to work unnecessarily harder to push Bayo to win the governorship vs an Alli who does not have that baggage.
Tinubu tried to prevail on Adelabu to continue in his position as Power Minister and conclude some of the huge projects so that his successor will not take the credit. Also Bayo was given the option of Finance ministry and later in the future when this brouhaha about power ministry has died down he can come back later but Bayo rejected and said he will test his popularity in his state. Tinubu wished him luck

Some believe Bayo is probably not going to win the ticket but he wants to drag it and have to be negotiated with to step down, Like the Hamzat situation so that in the future it would be on record that he did. (That is my own speculation as well)

On the Makinde PDP side, Adebo Ogundoyin has long assumed that he was the choice of Seyi, but with APC going for an Ibadan person, Seyi is no longer as favorable to Adebo who isn't from Ibadan. If APC should present Alli or Adelabu who are core Ibadan people, then Adebo who isn't from Ibadan will be a tough sell

APC has presidency who is invested in sweeping the SW, APC is presenting an Ibadan person if Seyi should back a non Ibadan person an Adebo who doesn't even speak Yoruba fluently, It will be a tough sell in an election.

Seyi has not come out directly to inform Ogundoyin of this but the feelers are saying he will want to pick an Ibadan person to go toe to toe with APC

Timbros and our stupid directors gave us the '2 Gees' that wrecked our attack this season. I don use World club cup hold body and no need for any argument again as we also lost Colwill for the season.

Meanwhile, Timbros is a Chelsea enemy and he has history of recommending and supporting fruitless attackers.

I tackled both Nateevs and Timbros for hyping Garnacho and Gittens respectively.

We kept on making stupid errors in our transfer decisions every season and even many Chelsea fans couldn't see them from the onset.
