We sent away a lot of terrible defenders too

But Levi looks rusty and the midfield is nonexistent

I hope we can stay the course till January
We should be able to take 3 points from those teams that dont deploy wrestlers as defenders like Roland17’s Arsenal did.

Ladies and gentlemen, although some of us already know, I say make I use this opportunity tell this honourable house say I have joined the League of wicked abroadians. I want to thank everyone(and there’s quite a few of us) who have contributed to this journey, by way of advice, finances, encouragement and support etc. May God bless each and every one of us, and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria(if it is necessary)
Congrats Nwannem woke. God will make it a land of milk and honey for you.

Airmark, I hope you see why I didn’t respond when you asked about our defence

There’s still something to be desired

And even you can’t deny we have a very good attack

But you can’t say with confidence that we will win the league

They’ve chased all the bad attackers you don’t like away
But there’s still something missing

It’s a good start

Next will be getting a reliable partner for Moi and one more useful CB
I will reply this accordingly when Caicedo is fully fit and we get Enzo’s replacement.

6 Chelsea managers have come and gone, and none of them have been able to beat Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.

• Xabi Alonso — 1 game
• Liam Rosenior — 2 games
• Enzo Maresca — 3 games
• Mauricio Pochettino — 2 games
• Frank Lampard — 1 game
• Graham Potter — 1 game

Arteta is so wicked!
Arteta is the new Sir Alex Ferguson. Aided to glory in Epl. 😄

@roland17, educate your Arsenal colleagues about that Gabriel incident that even if you kick the ball and your leg hits the opponent it’s an infringement and a card offence, like in VVD’s case against Mertens in 2018. In fact Ancelotti and many wanted him sent off.

They should get educated and stop arguing blindly.

forgiveness:
Physicality is what is missing in the Chelsea team. They need a bit of aggression to really compete at the top.

Chelsea player's nowadays are too soft.
This is untrue.

Hitting keeper's head with boot is never physicality even in the non-VAR era. Drogba, Terry and multiple Chelsea players got red cards due to being overly aggressive without VAR. Officiating in EPL is just now a tragedy even with the use of the VAR.

We lost yesterday's match due to unavailability of natural midfielders with additional support to the dark arts by Arsenal by the officials. A certain Caicedo booting a keeper's head would have been sent off. Arsenal wouldn't play like that in a UCL and evade a red card. That's never physicality but rascality.

Get ready for the 2nd leg, we will be kicking whatever is left of your heads and ankles. As long as we continue the scheduled beating..

You sacrificed Alajo today and a washed White took him to the cleaners.

Who are you sacrificing next?

Please don’t mention Ghost worker Kopalma because he is inconsequential whenever it comes to Arsenal.
Took him to the cleaners and returned with no clean sheet. grin grin grin

First and second runs will displace anybody whether 5ft 2 or 6ft 4

The purpose of height is not to get outjumped and there is no way you will jump with James and win clean headet
Yes but an aerial ball will be more diffiicult for a Reece James to deal with than for a Saliba. Saliba obviously will have an edge in overall aerial reach.

If any fanbase in the EPL is wailing about physicality, should it be Chelsea? Like? Chelsea fans wailing about physicality against Arsenal?

I can forgive a Gen Z Chelsea fan crying about it but old heads that have been following the league since inception? Haaaaaaa
Show evidence where Chelsea's keeper punched Arsenal's striker's head like Raya did on Joao Pedro last season. Show where a chelsea player left the ball and kicked your keeper's head and not carded.

You are at it again this season and the FA are showing their support too early this term. angry

Nobody is crying about physicality. When did kicking the kepper's head with boot, become physicality? Show where Chelsea players booted Arsenal's keeper's head. grin

Roland17:
Naaa.

Alajo was already carrying the frustration of being wrapped and spun like a ballerina by Konsa.

The crying was just the tipping point of the meltdown. It’s like a toddler that is holding pain and suddenly starts wailing and throwing tantrums.

Alajo was pocketed by a washed up White to the point White was busy building up attacks on the right side while Alajo was begging for Oxygen because the defending was driving him mad. It was why he was crying to the ref over a small trip. Thank God Alonso saved him from further tears.

Like I said earlier, gone are the days Chelsea fans approach Arsenal games thinking they would bring physicality as a weapon. Na we Dey bring the beating. You go collect beating, still collect L!
Kicking players legs or kicking keeper’s head is not what is called physicality in football. A Caicedo would have collected a red for what Gabriel did.

Arsenal and their dark arts are always condoned in Epl and in Europe they go back to default settings and fail to win trophies.

English FA babies.😄

Even the washed up White pocketed your “Alajo” so bad he was taking his frustrations out on his master Rice.

Let’s have it!
Pocketed? And Rice had to play it dark to stop Alajo from scoring the 2nd goal. The referee couldn’t give Rice, a deserved yellow card.

England FA babies. grin

Not at all. He is perfect for it. With his build, he wins most aerial duels or puts the striker off balance completely. Strikers are mostly unbalanced by body weight in aerial duels, not by height
5ft11 is too short when contesting aerially against Haaland, Sesko both at 6ft 5 and Havertz at 6ft 4. James will be hapless against a cross well delivered on a plate for those strikers that would make first and second runs to displace him in the box.

James should be converted to centreback

We pay him all that salary based on being a World Class right back, not on being a below average DM

Since his body can no longer handle right back, the only position where he can somewhat justify his salary is centreback
Is he not too short for a CB in EPL?

The greatest flop in the history of Austrian league is Jerome Boathand. He was getting benched by asylum seekers in the city of Linz before they chased him away with no send-forth ceremony.
