I have never been so committed to a Politician online as I am doing for BAT now, coz I see through their motive right from beginning especially Don J.
European Football Section used to be one big family until the Ediot started "he is a Yoruba Trabalist or a Yorùbá Muslim" campaign.
If you're supporting BAT, its because you're a Yorùbá Tribalist or Yorùbá Muslim, not because you trust his leadership skills and experience.
....yet! Lunàtic is supporting his Kinsman and a Christian as him. I hope he won't run away like Donjazet, and tell us what he meant by 'Ndi Waste'. |

Virgil van Dijk — 3/10
Unfortunate that the ball deflected off him and found Martinelli for the opener but bears a lot of the blame for the second goal after his complete failure to pick up Jesus

liveLongNprospa: Lmao Obi wasn't smart. He has always gone to churches before, during and now after elections.
Tinubu was the one who drove some Christians to Obi. The APC party in their bid to get ahead of the mumu ticket narrative started the talk of Obi using religious lines and the pastors decided to reply to the hypocrisy. Abi is it that Christians decided to look out for their interest in a ticket they found competent enough.. We shall see if he will continue going to churches with pictures and videos after Tinubu's one year in office as the President. |

raumdeuter: So VVD who made a pinpoint assist to Martinelli had no blame in that first goal VVD was trying to cover a problem caused by a Fabinho, whose legs have gone and exposed his defence to an intruder that ran with the ball and passed it. Alisson's reflex was a suspect. On a good day, he should be having a hand on that Martinelli's light kick. Ramsdale wasn't that useless on the other side. Trent always losing his man. He should have done better tracking Martinelli's run. |

Donjazet2: This isn't a flex. David has addressed this a long time ago last year when this was first used against him.
The simple truth is that no single obidient at the beginning of the movement last year not to talk of in 2020 sef would be full of conviction that in this Nigeria, a new political movement can spring up and upset both parties. Infact, even on this thread we saw how the obidient voices gradually got louder and wider. I was the first person to constantly push the Obi noise even though when I started I definitely didn't believe he could win, it was simply an idealistic move from me, the wildest dream that a miracle could happen in this country and I did my own little part, one thing was very clear though, atiku and tinubu were nonstarters for me, but as time went on, one could see that the movement was rapidly gaining ground. On this thread alone, it went from me to sege to nezzj to livelongprospar to izzuo (initially), to lordfalcao and then many others.
The public rallies by the youths for Obi in various cities were the game changer. That literally proved that this hitherto online movement was now fully on ground and offline. That it was no longer noisy youths on social media.
A lot of detractors kept throwing shit at the movement to undermine it.
-NO POLLING UNIT ON SOCIAL MEDIA. -MANY OF THE YOUTHS MAKING NOISE ON TWITTER WILL NOT VOTE, ON ELECTION DAY, THEY WOULD PLAY BALL.
-OBI IS NOT KNOWN IN THE RURAL PARTS OF NIGERIA WHO ARE THE MAIN VOTERS. -OLD PEOPLE DONT KNOW OBI, JUST THR YOUNG ONE'S. OLDER GENERATION ARE NOT ON SOCIAL MEDIA.
-THE PARTY HAS NO STRUCTURE AROUND THE COUNTRY. OBI CAN NEVER SEE BEYOND 2 STATES OR BEYOND SOUTH EAST REGION, OR HIGHEST 2 MILLION VOTES, HE WILL COME A DISTANT THIRD OR EVEN 4TH, KWANKWASO HAS MORE ELECTED POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS AND IS MORE POPULAR THAN OBI.
Well in the end, Obi won more states than the other candidates (Rivers included) and definitely won far more than the 6 million declared for him, 7 million? 8 million? We can't tell now because inec decided to be eyeneck.
So in summary, David is not singular in his earlier belief and analysis underrating any new movement. Many obidients today were also sceptical of the fruitfulness of such a venture but eventually bought into it wholeheartedly. How on earth do you think an obidient post made in 2020 and 2021 has a bearing on their beliefs based on what we've just seen?
The number one catalyst for the obidient movement is clearly anti-tinubu and anti-atiku. Nigerians did not want more of the same and said anybody but these 2. The party primaries birthed the obidient movement. Youths said they must take decision into their hands rather than do nothing. So this is a nonstarter please.
Hundeyin hates tinubu. Fact! Hundeyin hates atiku, fact! Hundeyin prefers and admires Obi, fact!! You've done nothing here. I like how you sidestepped the role of religion among the factors that propelled the Obedient movement. You are smart. |

A001: I voted for PO and will do so again. However, I don't follow mobs and don't react emotionally to issues.
The fact that I supported PO, and still support him, doesn't mean I agree with everything other supporters say or their approach to issues.
There are some lines I can never cross while supporting a Nigerian politician.
WS is a highly respected writer who has paid his dues in the fight for democracy in this country, and I feel those people castigating him are merely overreacting and barking the wrong tree.
I've elderly ones at home that criticize PO now and then. That doesn't mean I should start fighting or arguing with them.
Nigerian politicians aren't worth fighting over or for. When Buhari said he would speak in the language Biafrans understand, Soyinka blasted him among many other times. But now, because of tackling a reckless talk by Datti, the ill-mannered Obidients descended on him. Many eyes will fully open after May 29. |
