Yoruba ethnic nationalists use Afonja on Yoruba's they believe are not working for the general good of Yoruba's, it's the same reason GRV calls Tinubu Afonjagaban. It's why he doesn't shy away from pointing out behaviors typical of Yoruba's which in his eyes have held them back from being as great as they should be.
Them no born am well to defend those tweets with this defence. He himself knows that he will be digging his hole deeper with this. 😄

I can't speak for the man completely though, that's why I attached a link to
his personal blog to learn more about him.

Remove the spaces and follow the link.
What's your own take on those tweets, regarding the belief of him 'pandering away' from the Yorubas?

Don't stress yourself posting links for me.

I explained these things in subsequent posts.

For those interested in learning more about the Lagos State LP governorship candidate, you can check out his personal blog:

Address those tweets, in relation to how it proves his unflinching love and support for the Yorubas, and don't refer me to an external link telling me about his profile.

People give their children English names and we don't say they're pandering to the English, someone has an Igbo mother and unsurprisingly answers an Igbo name and it's pandering.

Couples sometimes come to an agreement for the wife to name a child their first name, and in cases where it's an inter-tribal marriage, the child could have a name from the mum's tribe, as is in Chinedu's case.
Well, this is 'pandering away' from the Yorubas that own the land he wants to rule.

What u should be saying is different ethnic groups In Nigeria have their own specific areas outside their regions they prefer traveling to.

Go to places like Yauri, Zuru in Kebbi and u will practically see Osun state and Oyo State indigenes speaking Yoruba freely on the street. The same in some parts of southern Kaduna. Go to Abidjan in Ivory coast and u will see Yorubas from Ejigbo In Osun State conversing in Yoruba in large numbers like it's the official language.

There are Hausa speaking who flood Lagos and even have communities in places like Agege, Okokomaiko, Shibiri, etc. There's even Kano street In ebute mẹta Lagos mainland.

Igbo's like to travel to the north to trade and also to other parts of south to trade. They also travel abroad to Asian countries like China, India, Malaysia etc.

No be must say Yorubas must flood the east before u believe they travel oustide their region. U can only speak of what u know about, stop generalising and making it look like Ur own point of view is the S.I unit of judging a whole tribe
Obviously the guy is not well travelled and only leaching on fallacious info from bigots, attacking the Yorubas.

Lagos is a no man's land oga

It was developed with niger delta money when it was the capital of Nigeria

Stop saying nonsense

The Lagos you brag today if not for numerous investment if the igbos, will you be boasting of half of the infrastructures and IGR you gloat about today?

If you didn't sell your land to us, would we be here today battling with who owns where and who don't.

Lagos is a no man's land
So, Lagos is not Yoruba land abi?

If the Yorubas now show you that it is their Land, you will turn around, playing the victims card, shouting tribalism. Continue.

I just watched a video of Gbadebo Rhodes-vivour addressing an audience now and I can confirm the guy is not going to be elected Lagos governor by lagosians this election or the next 🤦‍♂️

Mehn! His dad didn't do him any favours growing up. I don't know where he was raised but him p-man supposed dey speak Yoruba to him once once na, haba!

I honestly don't think Lagosians are ready to vote a governor that can't speak Yoruba like him. I mean Lagos is the first state in Nigeria where the state house of assembly conducts parliamentary sessions in Yoruba. How does he want to communicate with the citizens when he could barely speak the language? 🤷‍♂️

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMYyXDQHN/
He sounded like one old Yoruba movie actor always struggling with the language, comically.

Only a magic can make him win, based on his unearthed personality.

His ancestry is far less important than how he portrays himself

A half Igbo man, married to an Igbo woman, who once campaigned as Chinedu Rhodes is pretty clear about how he wants to be perceived in public.

If anything you're doing him a disservice by not recognising his wishes. If someone gives you their pronouns when they introduce themselves to you, it is quite rude to disregard those wishes.
I just saw one of that GRV's tweets mocking Yorubas. Omo, this guy don score serious own goals o. shocked

Looking for this all day.

Kepa doesn't command his area properly, for years now and his trainers couldn't fix this yet. They also need to fix metals into his weak fist. 😠

Kepa - Felix - Enzo, should be blamed in that order.

Sacking him and bringing in a new coach will disrupt the synergy in the team although short term goals may be achieved.
