OJURONGBE1: To tell you how important and sweet Chelsea's victory over Bayern was, 4 country Presidents watched how Bayern players, officials and fans cried like toddlers. Raumdeuter, what will you say about this? It was my happiest day as a Chelsea fan. A lot of misses by whiskers before we won it. Drogba : “After that meeting I asked a young 23-year-old Juan Mata, ‘Please maestro, help me win the Champions League’. “He looked at me like “Man, you’re crazy, you’re Didier Drogba, you are gonna help me win it. I then told him I’ve been here for eight years and never won it, so I believe you’re the one who’s gonna help us win. I’ll even give you a present if we win it, that was the end of February. “Three months later, we were in Munich, in the final, in their stadium, submerged with a red wave. The hosts took the lead with eight minutes to go and on my way to kick the ball for the last eight minutes I was so discouraged.
“The young man said to me, ‘Believe Didi, you have to believe’. Almost in tears I answered after looking at the time, ‘Believe in what? It’s almost over’. I’m gonna cry like a few months ago when I lost the [Africa Cup of Nations] final with Cote d’Ivoire.
“Last minute, last corner, I mean first corner for us against eighteen for Bayern Munich. Guess who took that corner kick... Juan Mata. The rest is history. The lesson is ALWAYS BELIEVE!!!!” |

With this line up we will reach final. Against a team that sit back well like Porto, Pulisic or Odoi may be needed. Christensen really tried recently as i am not yet comfortable with Zouma and Rudiger together. |

You are now arguing from a narrative that differentiate my position about one of my favorite Milan defenders. Well, sitting out owing to a muscle injury after enduring a difficult December and at 37 is equivalent to retirement. Chelsea can choose to extend him one year so he can mentor your young core of defenders.
Sheerwood? It shouldn't shock you that he is mentioned as Lampard's best signing by December.. Everyone agreed he had a good start from September to December (until after Leeds rans him ragged and he could barely make it out of the pitch on his legs). After Leeds where is he? He turns 37 and I am supposed to believe he will be prime Silva? Some of us that knew that the rigors of the EPL will catch up with him at 36 are not surprised[/s] he has been out for this long. Is he playing? His form dropped since December before he got injured and has been out. Once again, your inability to comprehend will keep you muddied up.. Any player recovering from injury and not playing has his tank empty and so must go to MLS as you suggested. Silva's form dropped since December, yet Sherwood tagged him Lampard's best signing around Xmas time. If this is not weeed affecting you, then you need to send 7 rams to Fenibeso for revamping.

Roland17: Here is the problem with your assertion. I remember typing "Dayo and many others on this forum including his clapping minions" but of course you have singled out Dayo. Again, whatever personal issues you guys have is your business, go sort it out with Dayo. I am sorry, until I see differently, I can't ascribe cognitive intelligence to @airmark.
Now to Dayo, I have engaged Dayo outside the walls of this thread and section. I have had very serious, sensitive, thought provoking debates, argument, and discussions with Dayo about politics (including international and US politics), religion, culture, race, philosophy, family and other topics. We have argued on numerous topics that are not even remotely associated with competitive sports.
Does this mean we are similar, nope.. Those who have followed my debates with Dayo will tell you we are polar opposites on most issues including the ones I highlighted above.
But.. I am never ashamed to say that based on my engagements/ debates/ discussions with Dayo, that he is cognitively intelligent because he can make a rationale case that is logical and follows a pattern that is consistent with comprehension. He is also able to develop his own argument which is a critical piece in cognition. Many handles on this thread have engaged him outside of the VVD/ Belotti/ Boateng talks.
The same can me said for many handles on this thread! There are tons of intelligent guys on this thread that you can learn so much from when you engage them but once again, I am sorry, even though it breaks your heart @airmark is not one of them.
As for the VVD, Boateng and others.. that is your own wahala. Anyone that sees sense in your opinions about players or members of this forum, must be an idiot. You have been spewing rubbish about quality players since God knows when, but i preferred to handle bigger fishes than concentrate on you fingerling. From VVD to Silva to Pulisic, wack opinions as always. Roland17: While the entire back 4 for Liverpool is struggling, Van Dijk looks like the weakest link.

Once again, I am going to challenge the pinnacle of your intelligence like I did in the T. Silva argument to SHOW US PULISIC's INJURY HISTORY FROM 2015-2018. An era deemed his best since he started playing football, this should tell you his level as far as football goes! No one has remotely said he is a bad player. A player that made over 100 appearances for BVB has to be talented but there are levels to the talent level. [/s] You are even mentioning a Silva that normally you should be ashamed of mentioning as he served you a big L. He will soon sign an extension and we will bring you pictures so you can wail again. 1 ounce of shame no dey your body Meanwhile, I will henceforth be calling you Mr. Pulisic. Shame on raumdeuter who wanted to stop your love for our Captain America. Roland17: @A40 and Dayo, abeg una dey watch Pulisic? See wetin that boy dey do ehhhhh....
His final balls brings thirst to any forward.. Roland17: Pulisic had some good runs but i felt he was limited because he spent the bulk of the first half defending, Annoying Schmelzer, had a great opportunity to square the ball when Leverkusen made an error at the back, instead he went for glory. Roland17: The game against Madrid is definitely a must watch. Don't forget about C. Pulisic, even though he had a below average game yesterday and was subsequently substituted, he has matured into an intelligent player with quick feet and better decision making in the final third. Roland17: Pulisic is going to make Wan Bissaka work really hard. He got the best of him there and I am sure AWB will be wary Pulisic's presence. Roland17: I feel bad for Pulisic! VVD - INJURY PULISIC - CONSTANT INJURY WANYAMA - CONSTANT INJURY BELOTTI - INJURY HAZARD - INSULT UPON INJURY Add Boathand too. What about looking at it from the angle of those players being victims of their own huge talents, carrying the burden of their clubs and 'wear and tear' sets in?.
