We did not but any central midfielder. McTominay and Fred were always good and I said were better than what Liverpool had. But you guys kept condemning them as well as the full backs.

I stated categorically that in 4-2-3-1, the last four are forward. They should create for themselves first before we others. Martial is one of them. Lingard/Pereira/Mata, Martial, James, Rashford were to be held responsible first in terms of creativity. Currently, Bruno is now one of them.

Every high ball, all the Barca players left it for Busquets to leave his natural position and go and head the ball.

That let me know you need mix of heights in midfield. If Kante/Jorginho/Gilmour were to partner in midfield, opposition would be building second attacks just by launching ball in the air and wait for Gilmour and Kante to be beaten on the knockdown

Kovacic is better defensively while Barkley, slightly better attacking wise. I will go for Gilmour-Kovacic, if Kovacic is fully fit but seeing as Jorginho is coming back for our next game, shouldn't we rest Gilmour for the Bayern match

Airmark and Hensben, the priorities are LB, CB and RW (unless Ziyech plays there), but we need a better CM than Barkley.

Imagine a summer where we get Alex Telles, Ruben Dias, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic or Houssem Aouar, and a good CF like Werner or Raul Jimenez. Then a backup RW like Nabil Fekir or Memphis Depay, since Sancho might not be unattainable. And we get Ampadu back as a backup option.

Tomori leaves on loan, Willian effs off, Pedro, Batshuayi and Jorginho are sold, and other deadwood like Drinkwater and Donkeyoko. Jury is still out on Giroud and Barkley (even though I want Barkley gone shaa)
