I also got an invite for the second batch and my traiining is slated for Friday 1pm. I don't thing i will go since those who went for the first training didn't say anything good or promising about what they experienced there.

Only God knows the number of c.v I have sent for job placement to prohub global and I have never receive an invite. Well I have sent this again, I won't quit until God answers my prayers.

A lot of times I have come to think twice before applying for positions online or even submit my data to the so called recruitment agencies site. Majority of the invites that has grace my applications on these sites usually turn out to be all these 'greedy' people that does nothing but extort and take advantage of desperate graduate who are trying hard to secure themselves a 'good' job.
I have heard my friends say "the best way to submit application is by doing it in person" however, my question is does this career sites and the so called recruitment agencies like joberman, career24, 3wjobs etc really works? Do top organization actually make use of them, and why is it that invites one gets from applying for the advertised vacancies on these sites are always 'GNLD' (as nairalanders foundly calls it) related. If the answer to all these questions is NO, then what is the main purpose of creating such career websites when it has mostly done nothing to help the course of unemployment. My recent experience with a position I applied for through www.jiji.com made me come up with this post

If you didn't get an sms from them (meaning u were not shortlisted), you wouldn't be attended to. I submitted my cv 2 d addy posted above, but I didn't get the sms. I went but wasn't attended to. I also met another nlder at the venue in same situation as mine. We both got there b4 11am. He claimed to have called the number stated in the sms posted by d op, and was told to come by the lady, even without getting a text. Yet he wasn't attended to. The guy just dey binu. Me no call d number so I no too vex. As d guy tell me say he come from Ikorodu, I no fit come vex again. A little bit sad though, but aluta continua!

Boss na me you dey refer to o.... aluta continua indeed. I later called her when i got to the junction just to inform her of what i faced on getting there, she promised to get back to me.... till now nothing from now. I've moved on bro...

Ikeja isn't far and that place isn't difficult to locate.if u are in lagos, u have apple time to do ur check today. Go there and sniff around(buy 70 naira Pepsi and ask the attendance about the pipu there,u can't miss it that way)
