Date applied: April 18th
Biometrics: June 24 as I had an existing biometrics when I submitted
PPR: 24 September 2024.

I hear I can go to DHL office without an appointment. Pls what documentations do I need. I don’t want to miss anything.

I want to apply VV for myself and 2 kids. My spouse is schooling in Canada (Post graduate certificate) I have gathered all doc for SOWP but could not submit b4 the ban.

for VV, should I use old portal or new portal?

What are the important documents I need to submit with a VV application?

I was not able to submit my SOWP application I was working on before the ban on March 19th. How do I change my submission to VV. I have gathered and put all document pertaining to SOWP.

Is there any important detail for VV that I need to put into consideration? I am sure I will need to discard the work permit form and fill the Temporary resident form (VV). Please what else do i need to know?

All you need to do is to fill up the employmentsection
and explain that in an SOP. IRCC knows you cannot upload without filling out the mandatory sections.
For the other form that IRCC says you cannot save, I think that form is about family members and giving conscent to one lead family member, it will always be blank when you save and reopen. Just upload it after filling it. They will see it.

Filling IMM 5257E application for visitor visa ( temporary resident visa) for my children.

I cannot upload the forms except I fill the employment section. Please what should i do?

and also form IMM5713, I filled it and saved it. But the info I typed is not showing because there is a comment that you cannot save text on the form, will the info be visible from their end after upload . I am confused.

Was it SOWP for you?

Yes, it was SOWP for me and VV for kids, together with my spouse Sp (An agent did this one), which he later got approval after he applied alone.

It was denied on financial ground.

side note, We have previously applied b4 and were denied visa.

Please I have a quick question, when selecting the type of VV for my kids. I can see 2 options

1. Visiting Visa - Tourism
2. Visiting Visa- All other type.


Which one should I pick?
