Hello Guys, Congratulations to those that made it to the interview. Wish you all the best, as for those waiting for Batch B should know the bitter truth that there is NOTHING like Batch B. The genuinely Batch B are those ADDENDUMS are actually Batch B, Look at Addendums for Borno,Yobe and Bauchi, It was clearly stated as Batch B, not more than 6 candidates per state. Dont expect a fresh list for Batch B. The list is being updated as Batch B, Dont expect to see a list as in Batch A. The Lord will and shall always be our strength. |
Hello my people, hope we are all prying harder and expecting miracle to happen regarding this FIRS recruitment? May God help us all. Ameen. The FIRS recruitment is on stand still for now, even a Director in the agency is not fully aware of what is happening to the recruitment exercise. Only God knows when the process will commence. I was opportuned to met one of the federal commissioners in his office yesterday at federal civil service commission regarding the FCSC recruitment. A list of qualified candidates have been shortlisted for interview, invites will be sent probably in two weeks time. It didnt suprise me that some candidate have been given appointment letters already, the country has turned into "who you know" appointments are being given in batches at the FCSC monthly and sometimes twice in a month. To God who made me, I can swear and testify that appointments are dashed out at FCSC to all MDAs, its a matter of connection. Alhamdulillah I have the connection and I am prying for others to have. |
"The interview is scheduled for next year, the agency is less concern about the recruitment. Most of us here dont know the consultant handling the next phase of the recruitment exercise. The previous list i showed you has also been amended recently but your name is still among the successful ones." These are the words of a Director at the Agency's headquaters. |

I kept quiet for a while in this forum because of some
peoples' behaviour towards me, I am here only to give
information to those that will believe me. The truth is that candidates that are qualified for the interview had been selected and invitations will be send in due course. The reason for the delay is due to ongoing promotion exercise in the agency. May God help us all. |

Abuja – The Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Mr Tunde Fowler, has said that the organisation received more than 700,000 applications from the recent job advert it placed. Fowler made this known on Wednesday in Abuja when he appeared before the House of Representatives Committee on Public Petition. The FIRS boss’ appearance at the lower chamber followed a petition from some applicants, who claimed to have been excluded from the employment processes. The Service had invited applications for various positions in series of adverts placed in some national dailies. Fowler said that out of the 700,000 applicants more than 2,000 had first class degrees in various disciplines and were qualified to be engage by the Service. He said that FIRS would recruit only 500 people, adding that the exercise was designed to increase manpower for tax revenue collection and expand the country’s revenue base. He assured that the organisation would ensure fairness and due process in the recruitment process. “We have secured waiver and endorsement from the Federal Character Commission in order to ensure that the right thing is done.’’ In his remarks, Chairman of the house committee, Mr Nkem Abonta, directed Fowler to submit to the committee the service’s nominal roll to assist it in arriving at a decision. |

I think Olushola88 was referring to number of staff that the agency is intending to recruit, I also heard that its no longer 1250 but about 800 or so. |
Its time we start to share useful hints regarding the recruitment. I also advice applicants to pry hard and begin to develop connections with those related in the recruitment process. My godfather told me to get prepared for an aptitude test . He said its going to be computer based testing. |
