Turaki-Led Group: Loose Your ‘Illegal Grip’ On The PDP!

It is high time that Turaki SAN matches his words and actions and STOP forthwith with the acts of “The Pot Calling Kettle Black” in order to continue fractionalizing our great Party, the PDP and at the same time, sulking and crying wolf.

For the record, below is an excerpt from Kabiru Turaki, SAN Committee’s Report to the BoT Emergency Meeting held in Transcorp Hilton on the 5th of February, 2025, in respect of various litigations for and against the position of National Secretary.

“It may be argued that appeal(s) have been filled against the respective judgements of the Court …. But in our Jurisprudence, an appeal does not operate as a stay of execution of the Judgment it is filled against. This principle of law is founded on the time honored argument that except where there are “exceptional” circumstances, a successful litigant or the beneficiary of a Judgment of the Court should not be deprived of enjoying the fruits of his/her success. Infact this principle of the law finds acceptability in all civilized nations where rule of law is practiced.” - Kabiru T. Turaki, SAN (BoT Committee Report, 3rd February, 2025).

In view of the above known fact to the Writer (Turaki); especially, as a Senior Advocate, the cogent questions are:

(i) Is the Law changed now because You MUST be the National Chairman of the PDP ?

(ii) Is this a case of “Follow my words and not my actions.”?

(iii) Are you acting a script for those who are determined to finish the PDP while pretending to be saving it.”?

(iv) What would have happened to the PDP by now if the National Caretaker Working Committee did not take action to save the Party at this critical period of politics and electioneering?

Let’s we forget, there are NINE (9) Appeals before the Court of Appeal “Awaiting Judgements” and they include the Suits Filled either by Abdulraham-led or Turaki-led. But it is noteworthy that All the Judicial Pronouncements so far from the Lower Courts are against the Turaki-led Group because the Law is prevailing on the Crux of the Matter - Constitutional breaches - which are justifiable.

Instead of the Turaki-led to seek reconciliation in the interest of the Party, they rather chose grand standing and nationwide voyage - all aimed at seeking validation where it does not exist; while resorting to insult the Judiciary and INEC that are genuinely executing their respective mandates.

It is time to act in the overall interest of the PDP’s teeming members and supporters by ensuring compliance with the ‘Internal Provisions’ of the Party’s Constitution.

Let the PDP survive!!!!!!

Nasir el-Rufai: The Jeffrey Epstein of Nigeria

By his own admission on live television, an argument can be made that Nasir el-Rufai is Nigeria's version of Jeffrey Epstein, as seen in the famous #Epsteinfiles. Like Epstein, Nasir el-Rufai is a notorious gatherer of negative information on people using illegal means.

Please fact-check me: Six years ago, on Friday, 1 May 2020, when multiple attempts to hack my emails and social media accounts were made, I fingered Nasir el-Rufai as the main suspect.

He had sent me an email in which Southern Nigerian Christian women were described as "whores". And when, in shock, I wrote about it in my Thisday column, I suddenly became the victim of a massive hacking spree across almost all platforms.

Who knows what other Epstein-style blackmail information this self-confessed accessory after the fact to criminal hacking has?

If you are one of his paid 'data boys' or influencers, you had better watch your back!

If you are Waziri Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, or Rotimi Amaechi, please note that there is no spoon long enough to dine with the devil. Someone like el-Rufai can use illegally obtained compromising information to manipulate the ADC primaries.

Given his admission on live TV yesterday, is it a stretch to imagine that, like Jeffrey Epstein, Nasir el-Rufai knows people who use hidden cameras in hotels and private residences to obtain compromising information about people?

Based on what he said on Arise Prime Time yesterday, is el-Rufa'i above espionage, which is the use of illicit sexual activity to entrap people?

If Nasir el-Rufa'i has your phone number, I would urge you to block him immediately; otherwise, we may start hearing all your secrets on television!

PoliticsWhen Truth Becomes Obvious: Makinde And Atiku Visit IBB by aisha111(op): 2:07pm On Feb 11
When Truth Becomes Obvious: Seyi Makinde’s Visit With Atiku Abubakar to Former Military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida

When truth begins to unfold, silence becomes complicity. Nigerians must therefore pay close attention to recent political movements that, taken together, expose a troubling agenda within the opposition space, one that threatens the very soul and survival of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The much-publicized visit of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, to former military president General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd.), is not an innocent courtesy call. Rather, it stands as a loud political signal, one that reinforces growing fears that certain actors within the PDP are actively positioning the party for gradual liquidation and transfer of loyalty to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Only yesterday, Gov. Seyi Makinde was at the Court of Appeal in solidarity with his sponsored factional leader, Tanimu Kabiru Turaki with the aim of using him to transferring the party’s structure to the African Democratic Congress, ADC. Without the knowledge of his supporters, he jetted out to meeting with Atiku Abubakar and Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida in Niger State even before the PDP case at the Court of Appeal was called and heard.

This development is an eye-opener to Nigerians and party faithful who have closely followed the orchestrated leadership crisis that has plagued the PDP for months. A crisis many believe is not accidental, but deliberately sponsored and sustained to weaken the party from within, frustrate reconciliation, and prepare the ground for an eventual political migration led by Gov. Seyi Makinde.

Governor Makinde’s body language, alliances, and political calculations increasingly reveal a pattern: destabilize the PDP, discredit its internal corrective mechanisms, and present defection as the only viable future. This explains the consistent antagonism toward the legally recognized caretaker leadership of Alhaji Abdulrahman Mohammed and Senator Samuel Anyanwu, whose mandate is to stabilize, rebuild, and reposition the party in line with the rule of law.

If indeed Governor Makinde and his associates no longer believe in the PDP project, honesty demands a simple and honourable path: exit the party. Nigerians deserve clarity, not double-dealing. The PDP deserves loyalty, not sabotage disguised as reform.

The contradiction in Makinde’s public posturing further exposes this political gamble. In a live televised interview, the Oyo State Governor accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of driving Nigeria toward a one-party state. Yet, in a dramatic turn of events, the same Makinde reportedly held a closed-door meeting with President Tinubu, where the President firmly dismissed such claims and rebuked the narrative outright.

This inconsistency raises fundamental questions:
Is Makinde truly opposed to a one-party state, or merely opposed to losing political leverage?
Is this about democracy or about personal ambition and survival?

Nigeria’s democracy cannot be built on duplicity. Opposition politics must be rooted in principle, not convenience. The PDP must not be reduced to a bargaining chip in elite negotiations or traded away through backdoor alliances.

The time has come for men and women of conscience within the PDP to draw the line. Seyi Makinde’s supporter must know that their leader is leading them to a point of no return with no clear vision.

The party must be allowed to heal, rebuild, and move forward under its legitimate caretaker leadership free from internal conspiracies and external inducements.

History will be kind only to those who stood firm when truth became obvious.

Anyanwu withdraw's suit on PDP secretaryship on the ground that the suit has been overtaken by events

The court dismissed the suit following a request from Mr Anyanwu's lawyer that his tenure as National Secretary of PDP has rightfully elapsed.

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday dismissed a suit filed by Samuel Anyanwu, seeking validation as the national secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The judge, Mohammed Umar, dismissed the suit after Mr Anyanwu’s lawyer disclosed that his client’s tenure as PDP’s national secretary expired in December last year.

Sued as defendants in the suit were the PDP, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Umar Damagun, a factional national chairman; Sunday Udeh‑Okoye, PDP National Vice Cairman, South‑East; Ali Odela, deputy national secretary; and Setonji Koshoedo, deputy national secretary.

Speaking earlier during Tuesday’s proceedings, Mr Anyanwu’s lawyer, U. C. Njemanze‑Aku, said it was not proper “for a matter that has been overtaken by events to continue.”

“In the interest of justice, I apply to withdraw this matter to save the court’s time,” Mr Njemanze-Aku said.

Responding, INEC’s lawyer, Akintayo Balogun, said the suit “ought not to have been instituted in the first place” and asked the court to dismiss it with costs. He requested one million naira.

M. O. Akpan, the lawyer who rerpesented Mr Dajuma, also argued that the suit should not have been filed and sought N1.5 million as cost. Similarly Ugochukwu Okanu, representing the fourth defendant and J. A. Musa, for the sixth defendant, asked for N1 million each for the same reason.

However, Mr Njemanze-Aku frowned on the positions of the defendants and their requests for cost.

He insisted that the withdrawal was due to circumstances beyond his client’s control. “We owe a duty to the court, and to avoid wasting its time, we decided to withdraw the case,” he said.

He added that “it is not fair to penalise the plaintiff,” and urged the court to allow the parties to bear their own costs.

After listening to the arguments, the court dismissed the suit. Regarding costs, he ruled that “the delay is not on any of the parties. The situation made it so. For this reason, I award no cost.”Anyanwu withdraw's suit on PDP secretaryship on the ground that the suit has been overtaken by events

Senator Samuel Anyanwu: The voice of the voiceless

Senator Samuel Anyanwu fondly known as Sam Daddy has been an advocate for the downtrodden.

He has been a man of the people and a man that has stood for what is right and has defended many whose rights have been trampled upon.

Senator Samuel Anyanwu is the perfect definition of the type of leader our society needs. He knows when to speak and he speaks without wanting to be politically correct. He does not play politics with the rights of the people and he has usually been a defender of the oppressed of the society.

Senator Samuel Anyanwu is not just an Igbo man, he is a great Nigerian with friends across the length and breadth of Nigeria, friends he made while fighting for the oppressed.

Senator Samuel Anyanwu has shown that politics is for service to the people, even the oppressed. He believes that the oppressed are equally important members of the society same as those of high status in the society.

Sam Daddy as he is fondly called does not tolerate oppression of any kind. He has been a defender of the poor and the oppressed of the society. He is indeed a voice of the voiceless.

In many instances, he has spoken for those without voice in the society and when he speaks for those without voice he does so regardless of whose ox is gored.

He is a man of the masses. On many counts, many have run to him for help and he has never turned any back without assisting the person accordingly. It is these his good traits that have drawn many to him over the years even in his personal life outside of politics.

PoliticsThe Farce Of An Expulsion Certificate by aisha111(op): 7:47pm On Dec 06, 2025
THE FARCE OF AN EXPULSION CERTIFICATE

....When An Ibadan Gathering Claims Powers It Does Not Have.

In the last few days, the political space has been stirred by the circulation of a purported “Expulsion Certificate” issued by the Turaki-led faction, an assemblage that sprang not from any recognised organ of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), but from what was essentially an Ibadan End-of-the-Year Party disguised as a National Convention. What we are witnessing is not discipline or due process; it is a brazen display of overreach by a group with neither legitimacy nor constitutional standing.

For clarity and the education of the public, the Constitution of the PDP provides an unambiguous framework for disciplinary actions. Article 57(1) states plainly that disciplinary measures can only be initiated and concluded by the appropriate executive committee of the Party at the ward, local government, state, or national level. The Turaki faction does not fall within any of these recognised structures. They possess no elected mandate, no statutory authority, and no constitutional basis to take disciplinary action against any member of the party.

Even more decisive is Article 59(3), which stipulates that suspension or expulsion at the national level requires a recommendation from a duly constituted National Disciplinary Committee and, importantly, the approval of the National Executive Committee(NEC). None of these procedures were followed. There is no report from any disciplinary committee. There is no NEC resolution. There is no compliance with the constitutional steps required for such a grave action.

Furthermore, Article 31(2)(c) clarifies that only a National Convention convened by the National Working Committee (NWC) with NEC approval has the authority to elect or remove national officers. The Ibadan gathering lacked the sanction of the NWC, failed to meet statutory notice requirements, and defied multiple binding court orders from the Federal High Court, including those by Justices Omotosho and Iifu, which restrained any unauthorized conventions or actions in violation of due process. A leadership born out of an illegal assembly cannot exercise legal powers.

The so-called “Expulsion Certificate” therefore carries no force, no weight, and no legitimacy. It is a political counterfeit, void from inception, worthless & alien in the eyes of the PDP Constitution. At best, it serves as internal propaganda; at worst, it is a desperate attempt to intimidate loyal party members through the theatrics of an invalid document.

The PDP remains a party of law, order, and structure not of roadside assemblies or freelance political adventurists. The actions of the Turaki-led faction do not represent the character or constitutional integrity of the party. They represent desperation, nothing more.

*In the end, the truth is clear: no illegal group can rewrite the PDP Constitution or impose its will on loyal members. The real PDP stands firm, united, lawful, and guided by its Constitution. The rest is noise.*

December 5, 2025.

PDP Warns and Bars Expelled Imposters Led by Gov. Seyi Makinde, Gov. Bala Mohammed, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki and Cohorts from Parading Themselves as Members of the Party

The SamDaddy Media Center, acting on behalf of the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), hereby issues a strong public warning to Gov. Seyi Makinde, Gov. Bala Mohammed, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki and their expelled cohorts to desist immediately from parading themselves as members or leaders of the PDP in any form whatsoever.

These individuals have been formally expelled from the PDP, and any attempt by them to impersonate party leadership, issue statements, convene meetings, or interfere in party affairs is hereby declared illegal, fraudulent, and outrightly rejected.

According to the clear position of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and reaffirmed by the National Working Committee (NWC), the only leadership recognized by the Constitution of the PDP and the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria remains:
• Alhaji Abdulrahman Mohammed — Acting National Chairman
• Distinguished Senator Samuel Anyanwu — National Secretary

The party stresses that these are the sole authentic authorities empowered to act, speak, and administer the affairs of the PDP pending the conduct of a legally recognized National Convention.

The public, stakeholders, institutions, and security agencies are strongly advised not to engage, transact, or enter into any form of communication or dealings with Gov. Makinde, Gov. Bala Mohammed, Turaki, or any of their accomplices, as they neither represent nor speak for the PDP.

The PDP will not tolerate further acts of impersonation, misinformation, or political sabotage aimed at destabilizing the party. All members across Nigeria are urged to remain loyal, focused, and committed to the lawful leadership and ongoing efforts to reposition the party.

PoliticsEdo Pdp Dismisses The Purported Expulsion Of Party Leaders.* by aisha111(op): 12:56am On Dec 04, 2025
*PRESS STATEMENT*

*3rd December, 2025*

*EDO PDP DISMISSES THE PURPORTED EXPULSION OF PARTY LEADERS.*

*KABIRU TANIMU TURAKI DOES NOT EXIST IN THE CHRONICLE OF PDP LEADERSHIP.*

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Edo State Chapter, has noted with utter amusement a badly scripted and constitutionally empty statement issued by political jesters parading themselves as the National Leadership of our great party.

For emphasis and clarity, the Edo State PDP does not, and will never, recognize the impostor known as Kabiru Tanimu Turaki as National Chairman of the PDP.
There was no National Convention lawful or otherwise that produced him. No such convention exists in the records of the party, and no competent court has set aside the subsisting judgments of two High Courts which unequivocally held that the PDP has not conducted a National Convention.
These judgments remain valid, binding, and enforceable until vacated by a superior court.

What happened in Ibadan was nothing more than an end-of-year street carnival, where Turaki was decorated like a “village chairman of the palm wine tappers association” a comical spectacle that expired right at the Iwo Road funfair.
A political charade is not a national convention, and no amount of self-delusion can transform illegality into legitimacy.

From time immemorial, Edo PDP has never supported impunity.
We operate strictly under:

*The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria*

*The Constitution of the PDP*

*Subsisting court judgments*

We respect the judiciary, we obey the law, and we honor the sacrifices of genuine party leaders who have sustained the PDP through turbulent seasons leaders such as Chief Dan Osi Orbih, whose contributions at both the state and national level remain unparalleled and undeniable.

We frown at the desperation of political Lilliputians and toddler-politicians the breastfeeding baby politician Turaki and his puppeteers now used by faceless characters to issue silly, misguided, and constitutionally worthless proclamations against eminent leaders of our party.

The so called “Expulsion Certificates” being flaunted by Turaki and his co-travellers belong in a comedy skit, not in the politics of a serious national party.

You cannot expel a man from a convention that never held.
You cannot issue a certificate from an office you do not occupy.
You cannot act as a chairman you were never elected to be.

This is elementary logic and basic political hygiene.

The authentic National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP remains the one lawfully constituted and led by Alhaji Abdul Rahman Mohammed, in line with the court orders.

We in Edo State stand firm, resolute, and unshaken behind:

*The Constitution of our great party*

*The subsisting court judgments*

*The authentic NWC and NEC*

We await the official directive of the lawful NWC on the date and guidelines for a legitimate National Convention, and when the time comes, Edo PDP will give its full strength, loyalty, and support to ensure a credible, constitutional, and unifying national process.

Let it be known to those intoxicated by the over fermented palm wine served at Iwo road gathering, that the Edo State PDP cannot be distracted by political jesters who mistake roadside merriment for constitutional authority.
No illegality no matter how loudly advertised can override the law.

The PDP in Edo State remains focused, united, constitutionally guided, and aligned with the lawful leadership structure of our party.
We urge all members to ignore the noise from impostors and continue to stand strong for legality, legitimacy, and the future of our great party.

The storm is not over but the law remains our compass.
And Edo PDP will not deviate from it.

PoliticsThe Negative Impacts Of The Ibadam Jamboree Convention. by aisha111(op): 8:21pm On Dec 02, 2025
The Negative Impacts of The Ibadam Jamboree Convention.

By Adm. Emmanuel Mba (Acia).

The Issues;

As it is rightly said nothing is built on illegality, it is obvious that the non existence, illegal and imposter NWC imposed by H. E. Bala Mohamed and H. E. Seyi Makinde do not know what they are doing. At what point was the person assumed to have won Osun PDP primaries screened, when did he buy the governorship primary form, i asked this questions because it is public knowledge that it was only H.E. Senator Ademola Adeleke that bought PDP Governorship primaries form and he was the only candidate who was screened by the party in line with Electoral/Inec deadline for the process.

The Key Elements;

It is becoming more obvious as the day goes by that Seyi Makinde and Bala Mohammed are hell bent in destroying the party that gave life to there political aspirations and funny enough that is there plans, Bala came from ANPP while Seyi came from SDP and both men have actualised there dreams on the PLATFORM of Peoples Democratic Party, party faithfuls across the length and breadth of this Nation must arise and reclaim our dear party from this two elements for they do not mean well for our party in any way.

These two above mentioned individuals only started contributing to National Secretariat of the party just less than 5 months ago with the sole intension of hijacking the party which they merely succeeded in doing because of the hunger in the land coupled with compromised staff at the party Secretariat, the good thing here is that staff aspect has been sorted out as all previous contract has been terminated and new applications for staffing was opened then and deadline for new application was long closed.

Back to reality when we told them that it was a jamboree and end of year party they went for at Ibadan they all thought we were playing, the results are rolling out gradually, H.E Senator Adeleke resigned from the party officially yesterday been the only candidate who bought governorship form from the party, instead suspending the whole process of the primary which the Acting National Chairman Mohammad Abdulraham did but Seyi Makinde in his usual self as the enabler of one party State quickly rented his king's men from Oyo State and shipped them to Osun State this morning in Busess in a video which has gone viral already in collaboration with his non existence, illegal and imposters NWC to conduct an illegal governorships primaries that produced a name who never bought form and who was never screened at any point by party screening committee indeed Seyi and Bala are really under pressure to ensure their political survival and both men are ready to do anything including destroying the party just to achieve that objective.

In Addition to the above, party faithfuls should ignore the said handover that took place today because in the eyes of the law the party is yet to conduct its Elective Convention considering the two court judgements that stopped the convention from holding and coupled with the fact that the Acting National Chairman Alhaji Mohammed Abdulraham took one of the federal high court judgement to Appeal court for clarity.

Greed and arrogance did not let them see the true pictures we were trying to communicate when both men decided to proceed with a National Convention that two different Court Judgements stopped. Our happiness today is that Distinguish Senator Samuel Anyanwu and the other well to do NWC members have been vindicated with the recent happening in Osun State. Seyi Makinde and Bala Mohammed are hell bent on destroying the party, simply because they want to use the party to ensure their political survival by trading off the party to Apc and Tinubu. I humbly request that all party faithfuls across the length and breadth of this Nation to stand and resist this wicked plans of this one party State enablers not to see the light of the day, these two Governor's have nothing to loose because they are both nearing the end of their second tenures as Governor's.

Solution;

The National working Committee led by Acting National Chairman Mohammad Abdulraham and National Secretary Senator Samuel Anyanwu must as a matter of urgency ensure that the party remains intact by coming up with an action plans that would move the party forward now and beyond 2027.

BREAKING: INEC Disowns Fake Letter on PDP NWC Resolution, Ekiti Governorship Primary

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disowned a widely circulated letter dated November 10, 2025, falsely claiming that the Commission approved the resolution of the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) and postponed the Ekiti State Congress/Governorship Primary.
INEC clarified that the document did not originate from the Office of the Secretary nor any official channel of the Commission.

Preliminary investigations further revealed that the Secretary’s signature on the fake correspondence was forged by unscrupulous elements.
These are the same individuals and forces who previously forged the signature of Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, acting as tools set to destroy the PDP. This time, they will not go free, as the law will take its full course.

The Commission has urged the public, political parties, and the media to disregard the fake document, describing it as a deliberate attempt to mislead the public and destabilize the political environment.
INEC warns that the circulation of forged electoral documents constitutes a serious offence, and calls on those involved in such criminal and disruptive acts to desist immediately.

Meanwhile, the Commission confirmed that it is working closely with security agencies to uncover, apprehend, and prosecute those behind this forgery.

PDP NEC Expels Makinde, Bala Mohammed, Bode George, Others, Dissolves Oyo, Bauchi, Ekiti, Lagos Excos, Others

The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has ratified the expulsion of the Governors of Oyo, Bauchi and Zamfara States, Seyi Makinde, Bala Mohammed and Dauda Lawal respectively, former Board of Trustees Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara, Senator Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, Deputy National Chairman (South), Taofeek Arapaja and others, for anti Party activities.

The NEC also ratified the dissolution of State Executive Council of Bauchi, Oyo, Zamfara, Yobe, Lagos, and Ekiti States.

These decisions were taken at the 103 NEC meeting of the party held in the party national secretariat in Abuja today.

Acting National Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Mohammed Abdulrahman, who presented the memo for the expulsion, said it was as result of the affected party members' disregard for court judgements, an action he said put the party in disrepute.

The NEC meeting's Communique was read by the National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu.

It reads; "The National Executive Committee (NEC) met on 18 November 2025 to address recent developments affecting the unity, stability, and constitutional order of our Party. At a time when Nigerians look to the PDP for leadership, NEC convened to uphold truth, justice, discipline, and respect for the rule of law.

"NEC expressed deep concern over the actions of some members who violated subsisting court orders by organizing and attending a purported and unauthorized convention. This act triggered confusion, factionalisation, and the defection of governors and legislators nationwide.

"NEC reaffirmed that the PDP draws its legitimacy from strict adherence to its Constitution and that of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, not from impunity.

"NEC received the report of the Acting National Chairman, Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed, detailing breaches of Articles 58(1) and 59(1), including anti-party activities, disobedience to court orders, and conduct bringing the Party into disrepute.

NEC approved the commencement of disciplinary procedures against the following; Adolphus Wabara, Olabode George, Ben N. Obi, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki (SAN), Bala Mohammed, Oluseyi Makinde, Dauda Lawal, Taofiq Arapaja, Setonji Koshoedo, Okechukwu Obiechina Daniel, Woyengikuro Daniel, Mohammed Kadade Suleiman, Emmanuel Ogidi, Sumaila Adamu Burga, Umar Sani, Udom Emmanuel and Emmanuel Enorden.

"NEC further resolved that Chief Ali Odefa must refund all salaries and allowances collected after his expulsion on 12 December 2024. These actions are taken to preserve order and discipline within the Party. NEC also ratified Hon. Chidiebere Egwu Goodluck as Acting National Vice Chairman (South East).

"NEC ratified the dissolution of State Excos in Bauchi, Oyo, Zamfara, Yobe, Lagos and Ekiti. The NWC is directed to constitute caretaker committees and begin fresh congresses immediately while the Edo State Exco led by Barr. Nosa Ogieva-Okunbor has been approved.

"NEC further approved dissolution of Bayelsa State Chapter's Exco, ratified the appointment of the George Turnah led Caretaker Committee and approved a fresh Congress."

"NEC directed Deputies in all National Working Committee positions now vacant owing to expulsion to assume the substantive positions in acting capacity and function as NWC members.

"NEC also formally ratified the appointment of Alhaji Mohammed Abdulrahman, as the Acting National Chairman of the party.

"NEC directed the legal team and NWC to commence immediate constitutional action to recover seats of all elected officials who defected from the PDP, in line with Sections 68(1)(g) and 109(1)(g) of the 1999 Constitution.

"NEC approved a Party-wide reconciliation initiative to heal divisions and rebuild trust, while ensuring that reconciliation does not undermine discipline. A nationwide membership audit and revalidation will begin ahead of the 2027 elections.

"NEC acknowledged the anxieties among members but assures the Party faithful that these decisions are aimed at stabilising and strengthening the PDP.

"The NEC affirms that the era of indiscipline is over. The PDP will not bow to lawlessness or personal ambition.

"With unity, discipline, and renewed purpose, the PDP will rebuild stronger and restore public confidence ahead of the next electoral cycle."

Earlier in their opening remarks, the BoT Chairman, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa and Acting National Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Abdulrahman urged the party members to remain steadfast, expressing confidence that the PDP will surmount its problems.
