Contrary to the misinformation circulating, the Federal High Court in Abuja, under the jurisdiction of Honourable Justice I. E. Ekwo, has not dismissed the claims made by Senator Samuel N. Anyanwu. Instead, on Wednesday, the 19th day of February, 2025, the court issued an order in the case between Senator Samuel N. Anyanwu (Plaintiff) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) along with Ambassador Iliya Umar Damagum (Defendants). Senator Samuel N. Anyanwu sought the following prayers: 1. An Order of Interim Injunction restraining INEC (the 1st Defendant), its servants, agents, and officers from in any manner accepting, acting on, or giving effect to any correspondence, letter, document, mail, notice, form, or written submission purported to emanate from the Peoples Democratic Party not signed by him (the Plaintiff), pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice for Interlocutory Injunction filed simultaneously with this Motion Ex-parte. 2. An Order of Interim Injunction restraining PDP Acting National Chairman Ambassador Iliya Umar Damagum (the 2nd Defendant), his servants, and agents from forwarding, sending, or dispatching to INEC any correspondence, letter, document, mail, notice, form, or written submission purported to emanate from the PDP not signed by the him, pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice for Interlocutory Injunction filed simultaneously with this Motion Ex-parte. These prayers were part of the motion ex-parte filed by Senator Anyanwu, aiming to prevent actions by INEC and Ambassador Damagum regarding PDP communications not authorized by him until the court could hear the full case on the matter. The order, documented in Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/254/2025, specifically directs that: INEC and Ambassador Damagum are to be put on notice to show cause why the prayers sought by Senator Anyanwu should not be granted. This means they are required to provide a legal justification or explanation as to why the court should not proceed with granting the interim injunctions requested by Senator Anyanwu in his motion ex-parte. The defendants are required to be served all legal processes within 2 days of this order. This legal step indicates that the court is considering the merits of Senator Anyanwu's case rather than outright rejecting it. The term "show cause" is a judicial directive for the defendants to present their arguments or evidence against the granting of the motions filed by the plaintiff, providing a fair opportunity for both parties to be heard before any final decisions are made. This process counters the misleading narrative that the judge dismissed the case or sided against Senator Anyanwu without due process. The next court date for the defendants (INEC and Ambassador Damagum) to show cause is set for the 24th of February, 2025, where we expect that the prayers sought by the PDP National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu shall be granted. Why I withdrew my letter - PDP Org. Sec. Bature National Organizing Secretary of PDP, Hon Umar Bature has stated that he withdrew his earlier letter regarding guidelines for the Anambra state Governorship primary election because he erroneously copied Hon Udeh Okoye, suspended BoT Chairman, Sen. Adolphus Wabara and erstwhile, National Vice Chairman, Southeast, Chief Ali Odefa. According to him, "I have neither been served nor convinced with any recent legal document after the Court of Appeal Abuja Division issued stay of execution to Senator Samuel Anyanwu of the December 20, 2024 Appeal Court judgement in Enugu to recognize Hon Okoye" "For Senator Wabara, and Ali Odefa whose suspension had been validated by different courts could not have been recognized in our party's official activities until otherwise stated by court. So, until that is done, our party shall move on with its activities without them" "After receiving legal advise and the grievous implications such letter would cost our party since the court still recognizes Senator Samuel Anyanwu as National Secretary, I had no option than to withdraw it. Though, official apology has been communicated to Senator Anyanwu and the party for the mistake" Speaking further, Hon Bature maintained that further information regarding the procedures for the exercise would be made public in due cause, while urging party faithful to remain steadfast, committed and dedicated to the programmes of PDP.

PDP National Secretary Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has emerged victorious in the first round at the Supreme Court. His request for an accelerated hearing of his appeal was granted today. The appeal seeks to overturn the December 20, 2024, split ruling by the Court of Appeal in Enugu, that ordered his removal as the legitimate National Secretary of the Party. However, this decision has not yet been implemented due to a stay of execution granted by the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal in January 2025. The Supreme Court's hearing is set for March 10, 2025, with the possibility of a judgment on the same day. We are highly confident of victory. ✌️ Today's ruling is especially important considering that the Supreme Court schedule is booked through to year 2030. The conspirators had hoped that the hearing will pend until the end of Senator Anyanwu's term in December 2025 and subsequently becomes an academic exercise, just to further their own agenda. Some people will learn new things on March 10, 2025 As we anticipate the final round of victory, I extend my Congratulations to Senator Samuel Anyanwu and esteemed PDP family. 'Tonye Barcanista

PRESS STATEMENT *Call for Removal and Expulsion of HE Senator Adolphus Wabara from PDP* We, the members Allied Patriots of the Peoples Democratic Party, are compelled to issue this statement in response to the recent actions of His Excellency Senator Adolphus Wabara, the Chairman of PDP's Board of Trustees, who is currently under suspension as member of the PDP. On Sunday, February 16, 2025, during the birthday celebration of a former Secretary to the State Government of Abia State, Senator Wabara was observed publicly praising Governor Alex Otti of Abia State, a known chieftain of the Labour Party, despite criticisms regarding his governance. This event, attended by state officials and Labour Party leaders, took place in Abia State. What further alarmed party members was Senator Wabara's open acknowledgment of his suspension by the Abia State Chapter of the PDP, followed by a defiant challenge for his expulsion. His manner of addressing this situation was perceived as mocking the party's disciplinary processes, thus fostering division at a time when unity is paramount. These actions by Senator Wabara not only question his loyalty to the PDP but also suggest an agenda to destabilize our party. Under his leadership, the Board of Trustees has seemingly acted in ways that undermine the efforts of the National Working Committee and other vital party organs. Therefore, we demand the immediate removal of Senator Adolphus Wabara from his position within the Board of Trustees. Additionally, we urge the Abia State Chapter of the PDP to act decisively in granting his expressed wish for expulsion, to reinforce that no one is above the party. The integrity and confidence of our party must be upheld, and we call upon all members of good conscience to stand with us in this patriotic demand. Signed for and on behalf of Allied Patriots of Peoples Democratic Party Hon. Olugbenga Cornelius Director, Media and Publicity February 17, 2025

TOP SECRET PDP Chris: Wabara & his Selfish Governor's Forum: Why Anyanwu is a Popular Choice! By Ikenna ONUOHA, Ph.D. The law has no substitute; the law is blind and has no relation. No wonder Singaporean government does not tamper justice with mercy especially, when it is hinged on sentiment, pity and emotional blackmail. Such law, no matter who grants it, who obtains it or where it comes from must be respected, otherwise, the sanctity of the law will be undermined or impeded. The truth of the matter is that Senator Samuel Anyanwu has legally obtained court orders that are still subsisting and those scratching him are doing so on vacuum. It is repugnant and greatly shameful that a supposed "SAN" appointed as a lone ranger decided to twist the law he ought to have protected simply because, he wanted to favour his personal idiocyncracies. Few days after the Adolphus Wabara's led BOT made the greatest mistake of their lives, mouths have continued to wag, while ears tingle over the monumental and self-induced catastrophic deceit. The question is; how has he been sleeping since the confusion he obviously but erroneously created in a party he is expected to function as the "conscience"? The joy of every party man is that the open rape of democracy by Wabara and his agents has been widely condemned beyond measures. Not only that the Southeast Legal Adviser of PDP, Barr Ukpai Ukairo has condemned and described it as an illegality that will never stand, the party's National Deputy officers have come out openly to reject the illegality and therefore, support Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party's authentic, undeniable and irrevocable National Secretary. With this widely recorded supports across zones, what can Wabara and his cabinet Chief do to reverse the shame already becloudig his sense of reasoning? In support of what the FCT Minister, Barr Nyesom Wike said and I quote, "If Adolphus Wabara were my father, I would disown him". This open rejection of Wabara is enough to see him as a man with a borrowed rope. Senator Wabara's latest dance of illegality has triggered Nigerians to probe into why he was embarrassingly and shameful booted out as President of the Nigeria Senate during Chief Olusegun Obasanjo's administration. It is worthy to note that what led to his removal is indeed manifesting again and if not corrected, may lead to a latest shameful exit from PDP BoT. As a political institution established by Law, all its members have a say and in a position to decide what happens in the institution. Unlike, the Governors Forum and BoT members respectively that toured the line of illegality laced with selfishness, the real owners of PDP are speaking from across zones, groups and states in support of Distinguished Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the authentic, undeniable and irrevocable National Secretary of PDP. Anyanwu obtained stay of execution order at the Court of Appeal restraining PDP, the respondent (Emmanuel Aniagu), his agents (Udeh Okoye) and privies from efforcing the order or removing him from his position pending the final determination of the suit at the Supreme Court. By this order that is verifiable, what Udeh Okoye and his agents should have done was to wait until the Appeal at the Supreme Court is finally dispensed. Applying unlawful means just like what both the Governors Forum and BoT members did will not solve the problem but rather exercebate and worsen the situation. The obvious fact is that Senator Anyanwu has exercised wide range of patience, otherwise, the bone, kidney, nose, eyes and ears of the party would have been displaced. Reason for his patience is because, the Igbo's proverb says, "the original owner of a thing can never be too quick to anger leading to destruction of his belongings against the whims and caprises of evil doers." By so doing, we shall be expecting PDP of our collective dreams!

Arrested Udeh Okoye has begged the operatives of the Nigerian police to forgive him over his uncouth behavior at Wadata Plaza that led to his arrest for breaking protocols. In a recorded pleading (captured) with the police, Okoye acknowledged that he really broke protocols at the ongoing meeting of the party's Board of Trustees in Abuja. Okoye had earlier led group of political thugs into the Wadata Plaza of the party's national Secretariat to disrupt the ongoing meeting but was severely overpowered by galant security officials at the premises. It can be recalled that an Appeal Court had granted stay of execution of a judgement delivered in December 20, 2024 allowing Senator Samuel Anyanwu to continue to function as authentic and substantive National Secretary of PDP. Piqued by the court action, Okoye led fierce looking thugs from far away Enugu State to disrupt the ongoing meeting as a self-help mechanism to register his anger. One of the leaders and member of PDP BoT interviewed expressed disappointment on the behavior of Ude Okoye, adding that such a person that could not control his temperament is not a fit to the office of National Secretary. |
The Peoples Democratic Party Legal Adviser in Southeast, Barr Ukpai Ukairo has accused the expelled former National Vice Chairman, Chief Ali Odefa of conniving with others to forge the party's electoral guidelines. Ali Odefa, former National Vice Chairman was suspended by his ward party executive in Ebonyi State and subsequently expelled after his conduct in handling issues became embarrassing and possed serious threat to the image of PDP. According to Barr Ukairo, this criminal act was perpetuated by Odefa and his accomplices in a bid to have legal grounds to fight the position of the National Secretary. He made this revelation on Tuesday in Abuja while addressing party members at Wadata Plaza during the Southeast stakeholders meeting in Abuja. He said, "shortly after the election of the Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, who was innocent, Chief Odefa and his accomplices told him the need to remove the National Secretary who is from the Southeast simply because he indicated interest to contest the Governorship election in Imo state" According to him, "Governor Mbah as a Lawyer requested Chief Odefa and his team to present any document that would stand as a proof to perfect the deal, knowing that he had no competent document to usurp the National Secretary, he resorted to forgery of PDP electoral guideline and presented same to Governor Mbah" Continuing, Barr Ukairo said that with that forged document, "Chief Odefa and his hirelings were able to convince Governor Mbah as the only PDP Governor in the Southeast having being elected newly and without full knowledge and or could differentiate between the original and fake party's electoral guidelines purpotedly nominated one Udeh Okoye as a possible replacement for the position of National Secretary" He maintained that because of the fake document unknown to Governor Mbah, the group succeeded in securing court judgement purpotedly recognizing Udeh Okoye, expressing delight that after an appeal was filed, the court was convinced that the document was fake and delivered a counter verdict recognizing Senator Anyanwu as the authentic and substantive National Secretary of PDP. The zonal Legal Adviser further expressed annoyance how those advising the Enugu State Governor had failed to guide him properly to avoid public embarrassment, adding that due to desperation to hijack party position, the hirelings had failed to withdraw their quest to cause division in the party. Barr Ukairo urged members of the party in the Southeast not to be distracted in the ongoing internal misunderstanding in the party especially, in the zone, expressing joy that the party had recovered from the imbroglio following the expulsion and removal of Chief Ali Odefa as National Vice Chairman, Southeast. He expressed happiness that the newly nominated National Vice Chairman, Hon Chidebere Goodluck Egwu would bring his experience to bear in ensuring that all the political mess brought to the party in the Southeast by the expelled former party official, Chief Odefa would be cleaned and thereafter unite all party leaders.

The call for Justice in Nigeria We might not all be as wonderful as Martin Luther King Jr., Tafawa Balewa, Nnamdi Azikiwe, or Nelson Mandela, but we can all strive to be like them. They spoke up for justice and fought against injustice and oppression. Our justice system in Nigeria has be stomped upon for year , the rule of law have been under serious attack from leaders and political actors that have used their wealth and influence to deny justice being served. What was known as the voice of the common man is gradually becoming the forces against the common man. The call for Justice today has never been this loud , the voices of Nigerians are all over the globe demanding for justices and fairness in our judicial system because a dysfunctional judicial system means that the poor and vulnerable are denied justice. All Eye are set on the Judiciary because without an independent judiciary Nigeria cannot have a functioning democracy, our judicial system must be strengthened to ensure that democracy can thrive, whereby we call on the judiciary to remain steadfast in upholding the principles of fairness, equity and justice no matter the pressure, it must uphold the rule of law and ensure that justice is served without delay. As concerned Nigerians we shall continue to call on the judiciary to do the right thing without fear or intimidation, we will continue as citizens because judicial scrutiny will prevent the possibility of unqualified candidate assuming the presidency, it is our duty as citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to protect our nation from potential harm. A call for Justice is to remind Nigerians that Justice has a voice it was heard in Malawi and then in Kenya, it will be heard in Nigeria and heaven will not fall. Concerned Nigerians.

We are committed to making Nigeria a better place, and in order to do so, we urge the judiciary to uphold the law during these hard times. The Special Assistant on Public Communication to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, has called on the National Assembly to publish a report of its investigation on the N52bn Special Works Programme implemented by the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr. Festus Keyamo. Shaibu said this in a statement while reacting to Keyamo’s acquisition of a house in the United States at the cost of over $300,000. Recall that in 2021, the Federal Government had in a bid to ameliorate the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, approved the sum of N52bn for the hiring of 774,000 Nigerians across all the local government areas in the country for three months. The 774,000 Nigerians were hired to take on menial jobs such as clearing of drainages, sweeping of markets, cutting grass and other community services. Keyamo had specifically orchestrated the sacking of the Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Nasiru Argungu, insisting that he was in charge of the N52bn project which the National Assembly noted was a flop. Both the Senate and the House of Representatives had stated that many of the beneficiaries of the funds did not get anything, while others who got did not do any job. They, therefore, questioned Keyamo’s running of the programme and promised to launch an investigation into the matter.Reacting to Keyamo’s claim that he owns several houses in the US, Shaibu said: “The National Assembly had described the special works programme as a sham and also questioned how the funds were spent. Keyamo had, for the last two years, defended the shambolic implementation of the programme. “With his open confession that he has acquired houses in the US, I hereby call on the National Assembly to publish its report on the failed project. I also call on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to immediately probe the finances of Festus Keyamo, who only became a senior advocate two years before becoming a minister. “It is public record that Keyamo was an activist and a prosecutor for the EFCC, doing mostly pro bono cases before taking public office. However, he now boasts of being a real estate mogul after becoming a minister. This is laughable and an insult to the sensibilities of Nigerians. “In any case, Keyamo’s time as minister of state for labour and employment witnessed the highest level of unemployment, which KPMG says is about to hit 40%. Under Keyamo, universities also witnessed prolonged strikes, as ASUU proceeded on 10 months strike in 2020 and eight months industrial action in 2021. Keyamo clearly failed as a minister but grew wealthier in the process through his so-called real estate business. He thus needs to be investigated with immediate effect.” Keyamo had said that by letters dated March 6, 2019, before he was appointed a Minister, he wrote to the relevant government agencies, informing them of the closure of his foreign accounts and the repatriation of his funds to the country since Nigerian law does not allow public officials to operate foreign bank accounts. He further stated, “My assets declaration is there for all to see. Some of us don’t need government funds or patronage to get by. Whatever we do and whoever we support is out of our deep convictions.” Reacting, however, Shaibu dared Keyamo to publish his asset declaration form as submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau in 2019. He said since Keyamo had boasted many times about being an EFCC prosecutor and an anti-corruption champion, he ought to be bold enough to make his asset declaration forms public to prove that he was telling the truth. Shaibu said, “Keyamo has one month left on his tenure as minister, which means he will need to declare his assets before the CCB next month. Let him make public his asset declaration forms, before and after office, to prove to Nigerians that he did not steal. “The truth about Keyamo is that he is a hypocrite, a rabble-rouser who pretends to be on the side of the masses but is only after his stomach. He started as a disciple of the great Gani Fawehinmi but has since strayed from Gani’s ideals by serving as Spokesman for a man who was an anathema to Gani and who Gani had accused of forgery and fraud – Bola Tinubu.”

GODSWILL AKPABIO: EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENT FOR THE JOB When a renowned sage Dr. Myles Munroe, a Bahamian evangelist and ordained minister, keenly observed that, " an individual is a product of all the formal and informal training he may have acquired, the people he has met and the places he has visited," he understood what he meant and perhaps had men like Sen. SENATE PRESIDENCY: AKPABIO IS MAN TO BEAT, NO PLANS TO DROP OUT - AFEGBUA Senator Godswill Akpabio has been confirmed as the frontline candidate in the contest for the leadership of the 10th Senate presently going on in the All Progressives Congress (APC). Former Edo State Commissioner for Information, Prince Kassim Afegbua, gave the report in a statement debunking rumours making the rounds that Akpabio is considering an exit from the race to settle for a “juicy ministerial appointment”. “There is no truth in the rumours that Senator Godswill Akpabio is considering abandoning his quest to emerge as the next Senate President of the country. The public should disregard any such report as it is merely an act of mischief by those who are developing cold feet, having seen the handwriting on the wall that they are going to lose the race to Senator Godswill Akpabio,” he said. To put it in clear and unambiguous terms, Godswill Obot Akpabio, remains the man to beat, and has not, and will not.by any stroke of imagination step down from this aspiration. He remains the best man for the job, both for the south-south geopolitical zone and Nigeria at large. “It is impossible for a candidate in the frontline position to be thinking about exiting the race at this stage. All the odds favour Senator Godswill Akpabio. He is a proven administrator and his origins and faith mean that his emergence provides the APC and Tinubu-Presidency the best opportunity to achieve a balanced and inclusive government.” Before stepping out to seek the leadership of the 10th Assembly, Senator Godswill Akpabio had consulted far and wide, reaching out to different segments of the Nigeria populace. The positive feedback he got propelled him to seek this exalted office. He also consulted with the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Vice-President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima, and several other Senators-Elect, stakeholders, party executives, opinion moulders and the ordinary Nigerians, who all gave him the nod to seek for the office. Given his soaring popularity, and seeing that his aspiration has elicited a lot of support from the relevant stakeholders, mischief makers who cannot match his popularity and acceptance, decided to throw up this spin to distract distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio. To state the fact, Senator Godswill Akpabio's eyes are focused on the ball. As a thorough bred and consummate politician who understands the dynamics of our political emanations, he will not disappoint those who have given him the mandate to seek for the 10th Assembly leadership. “This is a message accepted by the majority of his colleagues in the National Assembly, as well as the leadership of the party. They know the role Senator Akpabio played in the party’s victory in the last election, having delivered unprecedented figures from the South-South region, and they understand the importance of rewarding such a feat to promote party loyalty.” “He is in the race and in a commanding position,” he concluded.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atM7bejJATI PRESS RELEASE Atiku to Nigerians: Ignore fake audio in circulation *Says it's last kick of a dying horse The Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has described as utter rubbish, an audio clip on social media wherein he purportedly revealed plans by himself, Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal; and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State to rig the presidential election. In a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday by Atiku’s Special Assistant on Public Communication, Mr. Phrank Shaibu, the PDP presidential candidate, said the latest fake audio clip in circulation was a confirmation of his warning last week that the opposition would deepen its propaganda ahead of the election. Shaibu said, “We warned last week that as the election approaches, there will be a spike in the rate of propaganda on social media. With barely 24 hours to the poll, we have witnessed propaganda from not just the All Progressives Congress but the Labour Party as well. “In this latest drivel, a montage of speeches delivered by Atiku, Tambuwal, and Okowa since last year were manipulated and pieced together to give an impression that they were discussing plans to rig Saturday’s election. In this age of artificial intelligence technology, even dead people can be portrayed as delivering speeches. This is nothing new. “For the record, Atiku has run in two presidential elections and has never been indicted or prosecuted for election violence or vote buying. “But some people think they can sell a narrative of Atiku manipulating this election. This is indeed the height of desperation, the last kick of a dying horse. The APC and the Labour Party must note that elections are not won on social media but at the polling units.” Atiku said the audio clip, which had been shared numerous times on WhatsApp, could be identified easily as a fake even from the tone of the purported discussants. He added, “It is unfortunate that those seeking power will engage in outdated defeatist tactics. How can Tambuwal be referring to Atiku by his full name in a one-on-one private conversation? This is nonsensical, similar to the type of meaningless chatter about President Muhammadu Buhari being dead and replaced by one Jubril from Sudan.” Atiku also advised his supporters not to engage in the propaganda war, which had become the style of both the APC and the Labour Party. He said they should respond by voting massively for the PDP on Saturday. He added, “When they descend to the level of baseless propaganda, we will rise above it with dignity and respond with our PVCs. This election is a watershed in Nigerian history. Nigerians must not lose sight of what is most important, which is the need to rebuild this broken system, revitalize the economy, and improve security and the hope of the people in a united Nigeria.” The presidential candidate called on the police and other security agencies as well as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remain fair and neutral in the polls. He asked them to go after those behind the audio tape in line with Section 123(c) of the Electoral Act which provides that any person who before or during an election publishes any statement to the personal character or conduct of a candidate calculated to prejudice the chance of election of the candidate or to promote or procure the election of another candidate and such statement is false and was published without reasonable grounds for belief by the person publishing it that the statement is true, commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a maximum of N100,000 or imprisonment for a term of six months or both. ATIKU YOUTH WING PRESS RELEASE AUGUST 12, 2022 IYD 2022: “Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages” The theme for this year's International Youth Day (IYD) 2022 couldn't have been more succinct, especially at this time in Nigeria where the clamour for change and inclusivity echoes across all strata of the Nigerian populace. Also, it is an obvious reality that the issue of ageism and intergenerational conflicts has become a major and hard to ignore phenomenon. Thus, it is pertinent that rather than fold our hands and watch as the gulf widens, we should rather begin to see how we can address these issues and make the most of it for the growth and upliftment of all Nigerians. The ATIKU YOUTH WING marks this year's International Youth day by calling on all and sundry to synergize both human and material resources towards delivering a change in governance and systemic administration which will catapult our nation Nigeria back to her pride of place in not just Africa, but the world at large. Through the aspiration of our principal, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, we are reminded of the symbiosis that is very important between generations as we have never had a candidate of his generation whose aspiration is solely based on tapping the energetic and youthful human resource of the younger generation and personally sees to the mentoring and preparation of the youth population towards effective leadership and governance of the nation. His promise of a 40% youth inclusion in all aspect of governance and decision making has been proven to not just be a Trojan promise, but a promise well built into concrete plans and proposed initiatives to ensure a 100% delivery. This goes further to prove that an Atiku Abubakar presidency will not just play lip service to the issues of youth inclusion, growth and advancement, it will make it a reality rather than a farce as we have hitherto had it with current and previous administrations. Indeed, the agitation for a more youthful presidency and governance is very germane to the healthy and developmental well being of Nigeria given the present realities. However, a synergy between the older, yet competent and sharp minded generation as represented by Atiku Abubakar is a very much needed course to embark in order to actualize the vision of a youthful presidency and youth centric economic and social policies. The ATIKU YOUTH WING calls on all well meaning Nigerians today, to think more on collaboration and solidarity amongst generations towards a Unified, Secure and Prosperous Nigeria by entrenching systems and policies that not only listen to young people, but also integrate and put mechanisms in place to ensure their full involvement in the decision making for the growth and advancement of our dear country Nigeria. Also, we urge that systems be put in place that ensure social protection and opportunities for the older generation which enable them give back to our society through their long accumulated wealth of experience in nation building. The world and our country Nigeria is currently faced with myriads of socioeconomic challenges, at this point in our existence; both as young and old, all hands need to work together and map out a path towards overcoming these daunting challenges and put us on a course of socioeconomic revitalization. We cannot afford to leave anyone behind at this time. We must all work together across generational barriers to achieve a world that is JUST, EQUITABLE and INCLUSIVE for all. Happy International Youth Day 2022! Hon. Kalgo Idris Ibrahim National Team Lead Hon. Rowland Odih National Secretary Atiku Youth Wing (Wings of The Unifier) |
