Hallo zusammen, ich brauche ihren rat bitte.
I'm currently an undergraduate student hoping for a possibility to run my masters program in Germany. I'm a management student interested in going into IT for passion, interest and as well for job security reasons. Having all this in mind I searched for courses related to management IT, then I came up with management information system related courses. Out of all the schools that offers MIS, TUM and one other school seems to have major and minor programs for people like us that have no solid foundation in computer science as well major for people that did IT related courses during undergraduate. Please I'll like to know if there's anyone currently studying MIS that can enlighten me more on the program or knows anyone that can assist with module materials or slides for the program so as to know what's up about things i may not be exposed to or probably to prepare me ahead. Helfen sie mich bitte, auch viele danke.

Well done everyone, i started following this thread the very beginning of 40 pages of German thread 1 that was when I was in 100L. Since then I've been interested in learning the language, sign language, music for children (recorder, trumpet, keyboard), as well programming language. All these just to prepare me ahead. Though I still have a couple of years to be actively commenting on this thread, but before then I think I can be of help with little materials I have with me here. If you are in ogun state, abeokuta precisely, you can prompt me for audio German tutors worth 3.5gig. When I started with memrise and dualingo I thought the apps was enough for me not until I started using the audio files then I realised I was far no where to comprehend the speed during conversations.
For people far away, you can download the files on torrent sites, the file names are michel Thomas and pimsleur. Wishing you all the best. Tschüss

When i started learning graphics it seems as if i would not be able to design something impressive but after few weeks of learning i was able to design something interesting; something I was proud to show everyone around. Right now I've improved beyond my imagination.

We travel often trying to buy cheaper cows around places closed to Abeokuta. One day while we were at our usual place of buying cows we started hearing sounds of gun, a few minutes later the rubbers came to the place threatening people with their guns. It was a bad experience seeing rubbers shooting heavily in a broad day light, some people faced them while I and my colleagues fled for our life. Those people that confronted them were badly injured while some were killed. That day was a terrible experience.

Before we moved in to this place I normally sell pure water (sachet water) with my children on the street. With little amount of money we make in a day it will take us through the following day.
I am now a food seller instead of my usual selling of pure water.

Nice concept. Could have been better if it were named humans of Abeokuta or something. Similar projects are often named after a particular geographic place, say Lagos or New York. Ogun looks more generalised. Try also to continue with the project, Don't stop at few... You never can tell who may see it.
You know you can never tell how the project is going to spread, Newyork alone is far bigger than many countries in the world. I just started not up to 2 weeks, so many days, weeks, months and years ahead to expand to other places. Thanks for your comment

It was a sad day for me when I heard the news my biology teacher was sacked, I felt bad about it, I wished he was not sacked just because of what he did. He was sacked just because he requested for his salary increase. -The boy on the right side

A teacher asked us to pick litters around the school because he saw the environment dirty, we did not listen to him because we felt we were prefects, and we said among ourselves; he could have called our junior ones to do that instead. Later on during the day we wrote a letter to the principal thinking we will be justified by our actions but unfortunately we were all ordered to be disciplined, we were all beaten by the same teacher, to make it worst our prefect titles was taken back from us. I pretended to be excited about the title taken back but down deep within me was filled with regret of what we did.

Nice one Op! Now let me chip in my little contribution. Your don't have to copy the pattern of "Humans Lagos" or whatever it is. What you need is the concept and idea. Think about it, how do you make money from this aside the usual pix and the likes (Ofcos it's true everything is not about money, but then something good have to be coming as a budding enterpreneur).

Now my advice;
1. Change the name from human ogun to something catchy like "OgunStreets", "LifeinOgun", "WorriesinClips", "OgunTimeline" and may be HustlesInPics. The concept is to capture the street hustle with words and pix.
2. Try and Create a blog or site and paste ur pictures, with simple stories and drive traffic to it.
3. Try and get a niche for your pix, you may try and visit Artisans like welder, carpenters (funiture makers), Generator repairers, students doing business and the likes. show their wonderful works, post their fone numbers and from there, you can start getting little money from it.

It's all about vision and determination. Visit slums and ghettos, narrate their stories, show beauties and the ugly side of abeokuta and may be ogun state, visit historic towns and villages in ogun state with rich culture and tradition.

Visit elders or older generations, share their experiece, wao moment, regrets and wishes for people to see. Explore farms and advice youths on how to key in with quality pictures. Soon Govt officials, Couples and Entrepreneurs would be giving you calls to feature them on your documentary page.

Wish you all the best.
thanks for your comment
This is my first street photography project, I've never done anything like this before aside from event photography. I was interested in street photography but my problem was how to start, now that i'm finally into it definately i must continue and as well get used to it. This platform alone is a force to push me into the street and never stop shooting.

Concerning the name of the project i think adding the listed names to my project will be additions and it will be well managed due to experience I would have gathered through this project.

No 2and3 will be helpful as well. Thanks for the ideas

I use Samsung Galaxy A5, it's a 13mega pixel phone. Do you have any suggestion? I need digital camera with good zoom lens.
My camera is Nikon D70 with 6mp, it's outdated camera designed to work like analog camera. I only take advantage of knowing what exactly to do with the settings before taken any picture. I don't recommend this camera for anyone, the camera is ten years backward only good for experienced photographers. I suggest you check amazon.com

I'm doing something since the beginning of this term which is affecting me positively; I've been attending lessons, meeting my elderly ones for assistance if I need clarification while reading, as well attend Saturday school lessons organised by school itself. All these is really helping me even my worries over physics and chemistry is not that much as it were.

Not quite long I mistakenly damaged my customer's tube while pumping air into it, he was very mad at me, but before he finished blowing his grammar I'd already bought a replacement.
I didn't know what I was thinking that I allowed myself to damage his tube. So, anytime I'm working I try as much as possible to concentrate or else what happened in 1976 will certainly repeat itself again.

I'm just an ordinary bicycle rider, I don't do extreme though I love to watch people doing it but it's no no for me currently, it's too dangerous. I stopped doing extreme when I got injured, that was when I was more younger and since then I stopped it.

In a very big well organized church I learnt playing trombone instrument, I was good playing the instrument. After some time I determined to learn playing violin when I saw a performance by a young man, the inspiration seeing the young man playing classical piece made me determined to learn violin. After a year or two learning violin i started playing classical pieces, i devoted my time practicing, and I practiced so well I was versatile playing classical pieces offhand.
There was a period during my early 20s I enjoyed so much, this period was the most joyous moment while growing up because I was popular and respected to be talented violinist within the church organization. Many people wanted to associate themselves with me especially the ladies.
During this period I got my dad attention, he was ready to please me, buy things for me according to my request. People bought very high quality violin for me after seeing my performance, and lot of gifts here and there.
Unfortunately I was carried away not seeing beyond my presence, I had series of problems with the ladies. Only a short period of time the hype started depreciating.
Right now I'm getting ready to marry in fact I will be settling down this month.

If there is anything bothering me is nothing than going to school.
Doing this business makes me feel bad most times because while I'm hustling my mates are in school learning. You know when you are left without option what would someone do than to continue doing the job as well continue to hope for a better time ahead.
The profit gotten from this business can not take me to anywhere because feeding alone takes the greatest out of the profit.
I came from east, I hope going back to my state if I find means and as well go back to school.

I had a very embarrassing moment when someone stole a laptop I wanted to use for assignment; it was embarrassing because the laptop wasn’t mine. It all happened on Sunday evening when I came back from church, I went straight to my hostel, I dropped the laptop with my bible on the bed then I went out, lo and behold I couldn’t see the laptop when I came back, I was totally shocked, fear came in because what was missing wasn’t mine. I told everyone in the compound about it but almost everyone didn’t believe me because they’ve never seen a laptop with me before. I was so embarrassed during this period, first from the person that owns the laptop and secondly how my hostel mate reacted as if I was lying about the whole thing. I thank God He finally helped me out, to cut the story short the person who stole the laptop was later cut in another incident that led to my own case and that’s how I got out from that mess. During this period I prayed to God to intervene and He did exactly as I prayed.

Op nice work.
But I suggest you focus more on asking people what their biggest challenges are in life and steps they're taking to overcome them. Just look for questions that'll make them tell you something deep, touchy and insightful. Then pick something interesting from the many things they must have said.
I make this suggestion not because you're not doing it right but because after reading what you have so far, i think you're being too usual, asking them about the situation of the country and all that. Humans of Ogun should be about the life of Humans of ogun and not Ogun itself or the nation at large.
Just my suggestion tho. Nice work nevertheless.
I really appreciate your suggestion and I promise to do something very different next day street work. The uploads so far was taken during yesterday independence day celebration, no time for long talk, I did everything snappy and conscious, and everyone was so busy. once again I really appreciate your comment.
