Thanks appreciate the response

hayoBams:
As per the visa application fee, which are mostly of low amount, most people use barter by flutter.
but for school fees which are mostly large amount, you can use form A or better still get someone in Canada who you trust to help you pay in dollars and you'll send the naira equivalent to such person.
But please be very careful about this second option, make sure it's someone you can trust with your money cause there are a lot of scams.
I hope this helps.
Peace.

Not sure, the public policy case will work for her here. If I understand what Ehiremen said. She goes in and out of canada frequently.

If the mother applied for work permit, she has to be in canada for that period she is waiting.

JustMellow:

Hello Ehiremen2002,

Due to the public policy introduced by the then Immigration Minister, the rules were relaxed during the pandemic to allow skilled workers who will be out of status to change their status to visitors. It also applied to visitors that entered Canada before or by August 24, 2020, and remained.

The way forward for her is to network and search for a potential employer that will deem her skills attractive and interested in her. Most employer will not want to offer her a job as it breaks the law to give jobs that Canadians, PRs, or authorized skilled workers will fill to visitors. If she's lucky to get the offer and the employer agree to apply for the LMIA on her behalf (if the employer does not have one before), she can depart Canada to apply from outside. This way, she can apply for the Work Permit and/or PNP if she's interested in PR.

Best of Luck

The mother could be qualify to apply for work permit.

ehiremen2002:
Hello house need the house opinion with a case where the daughter is studying ( grade 9) - has 1 year visa but when she landed last year, she got a 5years student permit. The mum had a 5 years visitor visa . She accompanied the daughter but has never stayed beyond 6months . She has always had to travel to the US for Xmas holiday and possible return to Naija for June school vacation. I was thinking if she can apply. For work permit before she leave in June.

She and the minor daughter will be resuming in august.

Trying to brainstorm what better option for her to start counting work experience in Canada

Thanks for all comments, they were all useful and hope to take this into consideration when she does the LOE.

I will update here the final result, if they accpet or reject her LOE.

Dimple10:
[s]so how did the officer deduce the cousinship? Biko don't let the person overcomplicate issue. somewhere somehow, there was a mention of cousin for the officer to pick up on it and that falls under misrepresentation aka lying. Ignorance is really not an excuse and the person cannort claim the form was not filled by them because they agreed to the declaration.[/s] Just explain in an LOE the truth as it is and hope for the best. I saw @graciouswords response to you and cancelled some of mine
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by aizebe: 3:17am On Apr 01, 2022
Thanks alot for your comment. I will advice her do a strongh LOE and she got a number to someone at the office of NPC to help.

Hope it worked for her.

GraciousWords:

Black bold portion of the declaration (that the information in the EOI is for reference only and not used in a MPNP application) is subjugate to the portion of the same declaration in red, which says the person submitting an EOI confirms that the information is true, correct and complete. They probably do this to make us think twice before we submit, to go over the responses again and again.

Italics: If your friend chose sister in law but MPNP has cousin on their records whether because your friend made an honest drop down selection error or MPNP made an admin error then best bet is to write them to say so (which is what Dimples suggested in the first place: a good LOE), there really is no other fix. She could include the required documents for proving her sister in law is a close relative and connection to the province.

As an aside, don't take the reference to misrepresentation personally....with this immigration waka one must be very careful.....see what Manitoba and IRCC define it as. I'm not sure it matters whether it was to procure an advantage, so long as it is an untruth, it is considered misrepresentation....even if you will be in a worse-of situation by misrepresentating.

https://www.canada.ca/en/services/immigration-citizenship/helpcentre/glossary.html#m
Misrepresentation: When a person makes false statements, submits false information, submits false or altered documents, or withholds information relevant to their application to IRCC.

https://immigratemanitoba.com/immigrate-to-manitoba/general-mpnp-policies/sw-eoi-ranking/
Anyone interested in applying to the MPNP must submit an EOI. All candidates must answer all EOI questions accurately and completely. If your situation changes, you must update your profile. If you provide false or misleading information in your EOI, it may be considered misrepresentation and you may be subject to a ban which would prevent you from submitting another EOI for two years.

All the best to your friend!

I had done some research, and noticed sister inlaw is considered ans close relative for MPNP purpose.

Familial relationships

To be considered a close relative, a Manitoba Supporter must be related to the applicant (or the applicant’s spouse) in one of the following ways:

sister or brother
niece or nephew (ex: child of your sister or brother)
aunt or uncle (ex: brother or sister of your mother or father)
first cousin (ex: child of your aunt or uncle)
mother or father
grandmother or grandfather

misrepresentation, when you give information which isnt correct to gain undue chances. In her case, I am not totally sure, but will have to check more. In anycase she is still quatify using sister, even if there was honest mistake where for some reason drop down menu says cousin.

Moreso, when I went through her EOI-SW. There was a declaration
I understand that my Expression of Interest EOI is not considered an application to the MPNP-SW, the information I
provided in my Expression of Interest is for reference only, no nomination decision will be made based on these answers
and that only those candidates who receive a Letter of Advice to Apply to the MPNP-SW will be able to submit a full
application to the MPNP-SW for consideration as Provincial Nominees.

Dimple10:
This looks like lying aka misrepresentation to me o. How can you claim cousin when its actually your sis inlaw which would have still worked. Only thing i can say here is a good LOE with proof stating the truth and hope for the best. Goodluck to them.

Hope others can advice accordingly.

If you go through what I have attached, during the application she never claimed cousin. The office said during the EOI - That might have been typo. cos using a sister seems stronger than saying cousin.

I took some time to go through her EOI-SW , I actually didnt see where cousin was selected but declaration seems interesting

Declaration
I hereby declare that the information provided by either myself or by my representative in this Expression of Interest is
true, correct and complete. I will provide sufficient credible supporting documents to substantiate this information in my
application to the MPNP-SW, should I receive a Letter of Advice to Apply.
I have not consented to my representative, if applicable, to provide any false, intentionally misleading information or to
conceal material facts.
I understand that if I receive a Letter of Advice to Apply to the MPNP, I will need to submit sufficient and credible
documentation to substantiate the information I provided in my Expression of Interest. If any of the information in this
Expression of Interest is found to be false or intentionally misleading, the MPNP-SW may refuse my application or may
revoke my nomination for permanent residence at a later date. The $500 application fee will not be refunded.

I understand that my eligibility or the points awarded for each factor may change as a result of a full assessment.
I understand that my Expression of Interest will expire after one (1) year and if I have not received a Letter of Advice to
Apply to the MPNP-SW by that time, I would have to complete a new submission to be considered under the program.
I have read and understand all of the foregoing declaration.
Creation

GraciousWords:

What Dimples said. Your friend should pay close attention to the MPNP website and program requirements.

Why would your friend claim a sister in law as a cousin....unless the sister in law didn't qualify as a MPNP tie for reasons in the screenshot or your friend thought the FSW rule (where you must use a sibling not a sibling
in law) also applies to MPNP? Either way what was the plan to show connection to that person?

Not sure, If I say this is honest lie or it was a typo.

The relationship with Manitoba supporter is even stronger than using Cousin.

Sister inlaw actually qualified as sister to the Manitoba support. I got advise from a whatsapp group , that virtually every one that used birth certificate affidavit alwsy get ADR. We were advise to got get NPC certificate of birth.

overlord77:

Hmmm, your friend started off by lying which is misrepresentation. I wonder why some people always try to beat the system. Well, he/she should explain him/herself with a detailed explanation. I know they don't take misrepresentation likely.

I applied from Nigeria.

As alternative to applying for GCMS note. I got same information in ATIP using MP in Canada.

Nickoko:
This is super fast. Did you apply from Nigeria ?

You did not state reason(s) for the rejection. You will need to apply for a Gcms note to get a more accurate reason why your application was refuse and it was help to provide a better guide in your next application which would lead to approval, God willing.

If I may ask, when did your eligibility start? I have never seen application completed in less that 2weeks like yours.

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by aizebe: 10:31pm On Feb 19, 2022
1. Included marriage certificate , spouse birth certificate and 2 kids certificate
2. Uncle - Added his family information when he visited Canada, where my father was his brother
3. No picture
4. No gift of deed, as I have some monet in my account. I also got lump of money from my place of work. II added letter from my office.

I know I did as much I think I could do. Same format a friend did and even less fund in account and she got her.

Teemenzo:
