Poems For Review / Why Defection To 'ruling' Apc ? by Ajagunhope: 8:42pm On Apr 10, 2015
The truth is that the average Nigerian politician is gluttonous. They want relevance at all cost hence, the mass defection!
As an APC apologist I did commend the party for emerging a strong oppositioon against the 'ruling' PDP. Its a pity that the PDP may not reciprocate this 'gesture'.
I like competion because it fosters masses- oriented meaninful socio-economic development vis-a-vis toe-placing checks & balances!

THE DAY I LAUGHED LIKE THE GODS
(Idielikoitha Ajagun, 2014)

Grin! Grin! Grin Grin !!!
It rang on my ears
Not answering machine
He bloated against my ears
''Tell me how I can help you
But don't ask me for money
'cos I don't give out money"

Hello ! Hello! hello hello
Are you there
He bloated into my ears
"Yes , I don't need your help or hello "
Haha ! Why now ?
You know why my brother !

I HATE BANKS
(Idieli Ajagun,2014)

I am the Judge, I am the plaintiff
My Lord, I hate banks
I mean those of my home cliff
They won't support my dream
An Entrepreneur of this century
Except you are a KEYSTONE
In the ZENITH of the MAINSTREET
You can't open an account
Let alone ACCESS credit
FIRST, your ancestors birth certificates
Your ancestors huts C of Os
All Doc of my nascent company
All done yet, demand seed to plant my company
These FIRST CITY MONUMENTs
Nearly suffocate my dream
Making me cry like a wild STERLING
Even when my UNION
Attested to my FIDELITY
My GUARANTEE TRUST is questioned
As I look up the SKYE
I wondered if they mistook me
For Mr UBA of anambra village
Or Mrs WEMA of Lagos Island
The sister of sir STANBIC, the DIAMOND of birnin kebbi
Yet they all 'want' a better economy
When their creeds trample on nascent entrepreneur,
Court, I Rise!

Health / Ebola May Be A Biological Missile! by Ajagunhope: 10:38pm On Aug 08, 2014
EBOLA MAY BE A BIOLOGICAL MISSILE!

To the Community of scientists in Nigeria and Abroad, I want us to appreciate the above caption of my press release. I am now forced to think that these 'ebola virus' may just be a biological missile synthesised by some sadists cum terrorists biotechnological experts in an underground laboratory some where!

I have decided on this line of thought following my awareness of the modus operadi of most biological weapons which usually come as acute or chronic dermatological symptoms.

A pure strain of bacteriophage may have been synthesized as in YAc, BAc mode of gene clones and then induce a mutation on the constituents chromatids/chromosomes, injected into a human or animal host to watch for symptomatic exxpression of the 'gene'!

As Scientists, we know virus are not easily cultured unlike bacteria, but a pure gene/ DNA can be isolated and then strain as Bacteria Plus Virus to give a bacteriophage which can the be manipulated to yield the desired cells!

I hereby want us to investigate the said cells to unravel this deadly thread before it runs out of hands!

The antecedents of Marie curie and her husband at the uncovering of Radiation must be remembered!

Let's investigate this mystic 'viral' thread to know and synthesize a possible antidote!

I summit.

BAMIDELE ATURU IS THROUGH
(Tribute to Barrister Aturu by Idieli Ajagun,2014)

I hate yesterday
Because he died yesterday
A pall of darkness descended
On Nigeria Judiciary
As he's numbered in dead

Beyond all reasonable doubts
He defends the poor
To dare a great spore
Rescuing comic Baba suwe
Who almost defecated his intestines
Let the trees weep
Let the mawn grass mourn
Let truth-lovers mourn
Let his country mourn
As he walks across the silent streams
Threading on Angelic road
To rest in timelessness and tranquillity
Though, Bamidele Aturu is through
His prints will glow always!

(Tribute to Barr. Aturu, may his soul rest in peace#
Literature / Bring Back Our Dora ........ by Ajagunhope: 3:24pm On Jul 23, 2014

BRING BACK OUR DORA
(Idieli Ajagun,2014)

Her Egg hit the rock
The rock scattered
Something happened to the rock
On the Africa's giant coaltared
Since Dora was born
Agulu reverberated in joy
The men envied the newborn
She was denied a toy
since she had a heart of greys
Yet she shorn in ambiance grace

Her path was unduly rough
Success quest made her tough
Born to be drowned
She could not be hanged
Varied miscreants frowned
On her uneasy portfolios fangs

She lays them bare
Issues of masses interest
She loves the word 'fair'
The peoples dearest
Walked away from health scares
Amidst real salty tears
Literature / Could This Be Life? by Ajagunhope: 10:28am On Jul 14, 2014
COULD THIS BE LIFE
(Idieli Ajagun,2014)

Could this be life
With births and deaths
Oscillating in great strife
Seasoning life with insipid breaths

Could this be life
With unprecedented hearts
Making cuts like knife
On indiscriminate souls and paths

Could this be life
With world-carrying mortals
Ignoring this worn body of life
Filling their bursting mortals

Could this be life
With conflicting cultures and interests
With Vibrant, ailing, dieing men without rests
Could this be life
With a market of walking shadows
