Hello seniors…Abeg clear my doubts o. At what point is letter of reference needed? At the point of creating a profile, or upon ITA? Cause I dey reason how to approach my employer for a reference letter addressed to IRCC…that would already put them on notice that I want to japa, abi?
Please how did the ‘people before’ achieve this? |

Good morning everyone. Please does WES have an email address for submission of transcripts? Or must it be via courier or mail? My school is charging £30 to send to WES via mail.
If there’s an email I can use, kindly share with me.
Thank you. |

No. It simply means that your application has been received. The body of the mail should detail what you should expect subsequently in the evaluation process. Oncanada: Hi guys, Please does the attached mail image mean IQAS is in receipt of my transcript? |

azpekuliar: How are you planning to pay for this? I have issues paying for WES credential evaluation with my Sterling bank USD Master card. A relative offshore is doing the payment for me while I pay them the Naira equivalent. |

Hello everyone,
I am trying to access my credentials with CES and instead of the usual 210CAD I am getting a bill of 330CAD because of the circled items in the cart. Is there a way I can exclude those or are they compulsory payments?
Abeg epp a friend ooo.

Thank you Honeysweetest: does not matter dear, your certificate do not have to be the work u do, however, you can only claim Noc on the work u do. So go ahead and do your Evaluation. |

Hello everyone. Please advise…
Can one’s area of ECA be different from NOC claimed?
E.g I have Llb (Law) which I’ll be evaluating with CES but I have been working as an IT project manager for a while now. Can I claim a NOC related to project management despite that my evaluated degree is not in that field?
Please help a novice oooo |

Hello everyone, can anyone please clear my curiosity as to why IELTS is preferred to CELPIP? Particularly as it seems CELPIP is more lenient and easier to pass…
Is there a particular advantage that IELTS have over CELPIP? |

I encountered this too. Fellow NLers advised that I should use CES as they also assess Llb as a professional degree. I have kickstarted the process but yet to get my ECA. I think you should try it too. By the way, which institution is that? OAU? luxis: Good morning everyone, Please i need clarification on IQAS evaluation. While trying to fill my IQAS application online for ECA on https://iqas.labour.alberta.ca website, when I select my university name from the 'Name of the Institution' drop-down list, it shows me this warning message -
"Conditional Institution Status If you apply to IQAS with credentials from this institution, they may or may not be assessed. There are specific conditions regarding recognition of this institution and its programs, and there are validity and/or verification measures that will affect whether or not IQAS can issue an assessment."
1. Is anyone else facing this issue? Can you please help and share your experience whether your degree was successfully assessed by IQAS in this condition or not? 2. Apart from IQAS is there any other evaluation institution that can evaluate my Bachelor of law as a professional degree? Thank you. |

Thanks @Honeysweetest. I found out that there is International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES) run by British Columbia and there is COMPARATIVE EDUCATION SERVICE by University of Toronto. Which of these were you recommending, please? Honeysweetest: Iqas or you can do with CES. I prefer CES. |

Hello everyone, I am new here and just about to start this journey. I have read the posts on page 1 of this thread to have a hang of how things work...very instructive content...kudos to everyone.
In line with the advice that it is better for lawyers to have their ECA done with IQAS, I tried doing same but got the error in the picture belo. Has anyone encountered this? How did you resolve same?
Thanks in anticipation.
