Buhari was in New York for the UNGA and also attend some business and official meeting as well. In attendance are Lagos state Gov., Mr Ambode and SSA on Diaspora, Mrs Dabiki Abike. According to reports, there was a a fire outbreak at an area of Ijora Badia, particularly at Gaskiya Street. Ijora Badia is under Apapa-Iganmu LCDA area in Lagos. The fire incident happened in the early hours of today, it burnt 5 houses and touched part of the building, however no life was reported lost.. See more pictures below..

Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon, today told President Buhari that he is highly respected by world leaders including himself. According to Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the UN chief said this during their bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 71st UN General Assembly in New York today September 22nd.

“You are highly respected by world leaders including myself. Your person has given your country a positive image” he said

This is the situation of things at Odukoya Street Off Oshifolarin in Yaba area of Lagos. According to reports, this is as a result of the the downpour that happens this morning and also the area lacks good drainage system as all the gutters were blocked hereby blocking the free flow of water. Breaking news.... Monday evening is that a petrol tanker has exploded on the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway some minutes ago. The tanker is said to have gone up in flames after catching fire at Cele Bus Stop inward Oshodi. As at press time, the inferno had spread across the entire expressway, even preventing those bound for Apapa from having access.

A Facebook user, Daniel Usifoh, a male university graduate who makes a living by selling cooked food at a motor park in Ekpoma, Edo State. What he wrote after the cut...

"I saw this man on my way to PH hawking cooked food in wheelbarrow this morning in Ekpoma, Edo State. I was moved to patronize him even when I was never hungry. Guess what...... he is an accountant, he graduated 4yrs ago but never got any job. He decided to go catering school. Today he stepped out in the streets of Ekpoma where he graduated from to do his first personal business ever. I asked why he decided to go this way and his response was WOW. He said "bros wetin I go do na, hence there is no job anywhere and I am the first son of my parent I decided to go this way rather than becoming an armed rubber to take care of those who took care of me from childhood before they die in regrets". You know what..... he is an Igbo man... I respect his courage....
