Hi guys! I have a couple of questions. Will the Welcome Letter be sent to the beneficiary or to the petitioner? What happens if chances of getting it from my old address is very slim? Thanks.
For the welcome letter the email will be sent to the petitioner and the beneficiary and not always the physical address and while fillingout the DS form you can make changes to the mailing address

Thank You bro... And from then, how long would it take to be assigned an interview date under normal circumstances
the interview date is relative to you being current at so most time it can not be predicted and with the covid19 in town most of the date had been extended and it also depend on the category of immigrant visa you are aiming at

The " Submit Documents " button is not working.
All necessary documents of petitioner & joint sponsor (AOS, tax transcript, etc) have all been UPLOADED to the CEAC site but the " Submit Documents " button seems to be broken.

We have refreshed the page several times and even deleted and re-uploaded the documents all to no avail.

Please, who has experienced this before?

Hello All,

What is this we are hearing about the Interviews scheduled for next week being recheduled?

does anyone have an idea of what could be going on?
The change in the interview schedule is probably because of the coronavirus rampaging around US has even ban europe from coming to us for 30days and Us embassy in lagos to be close

This Bill will Be approved by the house but unlikely to pass in the senate. We should hope for compliance from the Nigerian Gov, that seems like the best path
That is the fact it is likely going to be turn down in the senate because majority are GOP but the best option is for Nigeria comply and work on what led to the restriction

9 Months! So those booked for interview in March better think of how to postpone it . Surely they will meet denial o.Abi
There is no reason to fret about the whole the thing there is always a review by the united state of america on the country place on restriction annually to check if there had been any changes in their information sharing and any country that meet the standard would have the ban lifted and that will be October 1st this year interview will still be schedule but to place safe its better to reschedule the interview till the ban is lifted

Well looking at the positive side of this tale, one would not only be happy but also satisfied that there will be more influx of foreign chicks to explore which will give us a change in taste of the local ones in this ever volatile economy. cool

On another note, one of the downsides of these proposed visa policies is that it would allow the floodgate of unknown elements with intentions to bastardize the country, with our already booming population, unemployment, security challenges and other evils and monsters breeding its ugly head in Nigeria and lack of government care and support. We have had enough. I foresee doom on this upcoming policy bcuz Nigeria would serve as a dumping ground for incompetency. What we need is a reformed visa policy like that of the west that can serve the generality of the masses. wink
I think there will be more documentation of who is coming into the country and well monitor since all are categorised base on their visa type

The problem with Nigeria is disloyalty and sheet stupidity. Many Nigerians are opening teeth and dancing that trump banned us. In their mind since they know they will never get chance to travel out so they don't care. Foolishly they don't understand international politics and the effect of the ban on Nigeria internationally.

Take a look at the class of countries trump grouped us into. This is how we will be viewed by the international community. If u think the ban will punish the rich or elite that u so envy, think again. They are more connected and privileged that ur sorry poor dumb ass grin
This visa ban will not wven affect the rich a bit they have money to throw away for visiting visa and business visa but its the average and the poor who have family in US that might file for them through immigrant visa route

Can't Blame them. Your Government is "rehabilitating" boko haram terrorist and re-integrating them back into society without satisfying American safety measures.
Once your country implements or promises to implement the prerequisite safety measures as prescribed by the US gov. It will be re-instated, just like what happened to Chad.

The Bulletin keeps on moving. keep calm and pray to whatever God you worship!1 grin grin grin

MY PD date would have been current in a month or two but i no shake!!
Let us all be prayerful and be hopeful that the whole thing change and our government also do the needful as regards helping US on information gathering
